I just ordered flowers for my aunt (at the last minute) and received a picture of the bouquet. I was blown away by the quality. The boutique was absolutely gorgeous! What a joy to hear my aunt's voice when she called to thank me. "The Flower Shop" always gives individual attention to my specific requests. Floral arrangement was nice and delivered with care. Unfortunately this will be the last time we order flowers with this shop. Order was placed weeks ago and my Valentines arrangement was just delivered today 2/15. When my husband called to find out about order they were obviously flustered and said they're running behind. We didn't receive a call till the next day at 9:30am that they will be delivered and didn't arrive till 12pm. The whole attitude of this shop is as if they're doing you a favor. Not very apologetic at all. There definitely needs to be more training in customer service and communication. Regardless if your business is slammed with holiday orders, it's not your customers issue. This place has been in business long enough to properly project their orders and need for delivery. (see photo) As you can see, it had old roses that were fully opened with torn and dried brown edges on the petals and with VERY unattractive common weeds as the filler. The "Spring Tradition" arrangement that I thought I ordered from your website showed an example that was full and consisted of fresh florist quality flowers. What I stated was FACT and what was delivered is totally unacceptable and a SAD representation to have given to ANYONE! It belonged in the TRASH and you know it too! Tell me, do you think anyone would have paid $57 for this pile of garbage???? Your adding the caption "Design May Vary" to your photo does not give carte blanche to deliver a handful of weeds. This ordeal has caused me much distress and I had to immediately order something of quality for replacement. After many messages asking you to do the right thing and issue a refund, you still have not. You instead felt it necessary to reply to my review in a failed attempt to distract from what you've done and even try to shift the blame to me! I'll have you know, it's only slander if it's not true and what I stated about this horrible transaction is 100% TRUE!! You were given countless chances to issue a refund, but you have not and so more of my time was wasted opening a fraud investigation at my bank for this bad order that I wish I had never made. read more

I'm absolutely heartbroken. The greenery was not nearly what I wanted or expected. Highly underdone. Paying a large amount for an ugly paper runner that ruined my walk down the aisle. So so sad. Truly a fantastic group of people but the greenery that was paid for was so poor & my bouquet was so so ugly and not what was pitched to me after showing tons of photos and examples of what I wanted. Would give zero stars if I could. The floral arrangement I ordered was a very sad excuse of a floral arrangement. Puny is the adjective I would use to accurately describe it. It is even missing some flowers, such as roses, that were supposed to come along with the arrangement. It looks nothing like the photo from the website. This arrangement was not worth its cost of $72, it's a $10 arrangement at best. You would be better off going to get your flowers over at H-E-B. The only good thing about this was the vase containing these flimsy looking flowers. Don't waste your money here. read more

Being the only place in town, they've got the market and glad to have them here. They made me my bridal bouquet. They took time to show me what flowers would work and we spent time designing it together. My only complaint is that they didn't have any of the flowers in stock to show me prior to the day before so I had to go by photos which was made me very nervous. It turned out beautiful. Also had some extra roses sent to our luncheon after which were also very pretty. Thankful for everyone at the Flower Shop and making my special day beautiful. read more

Over Thanksgiving I travelled to Texas to meet my BF's parents. They invited me into their home with open arms and made me feel loved immediately. I wanted to thank them by sending a bouquet of flowers when I got back to LA. I did a Google search and they're name was one of the first to pop up. I loved their selection online, so I went ahead and place an order Monday morning. I was sure that The Flower Shop would tell me: a) that the flowers were not in season and the bouquet I chose would look very different than the photo I saw online. b)the delivery would be on Tuesday. I placed an order 6 weeks in advance for 3 simple bouquets for our sons wedding. We arrived on the agreed time for pickup on Friday afternoon because we were traveling out of town for the wedding, and the items were not ready. I was so upset that we had to come back on Saturday morning to pick up the items for the wedding that afternoon. A simple phone call from the florist letting us know the items were not going to be ready would have been greatly appreciated. I suggest better communication with your customers. I have been a customer of The Flower Shop since we moved to area about two years ago. I have never been disappointed and have always been impressed with the quality and service. This Saturday, however, The Flower Shop went well above and beyond my expectations and as a result I felt compelled to write this recommendation. I made a last minute decision on Saturday morning to order flowers for same delivery for Mother's Day. I know I know but I did. What is typically a busy day for a florist also included a prom for my daughters high school. When 5:00 pm came and went (their closing time on Saturday) and still no flowers my only thought was that I should have ordered earlier and/or picked up. I found this lady to be rude, condescending and accusatory. I was NOT satisfied with my order and called immediately. I was told no refund just because I did not like it. It was not what I ordered, or appropriate for the venue. When ordering I asked the approximate size of the arrangement. I was given a dimension, which it wasn't ! Mary said it did not happen she said if girl really did this, then I'm firing her....I was shocked. She also said "no refund" even though their online ad states "100% refund if not completely satisfied." As a result I was forced to take store credit and I don't even live in Texas! Later she sent me a text stating she had indeed fired the girl (her granddaughter). I'm still reeling in disbelief, she was so vindictive. I called this florist for a sympathy flower arrangement on 11/21/14. They took my order in a nice, friendly manner. Most of all I was pleased with the flower arrangement and the delivery time. They delivered the arrangement quickly, exactly when I had requested it to be delivered. The arrangement had beautiful, fresh flowers with very little fragrance, just as I had requested. I live in Denver and my Mom lives in Boerne. So on those special occasions when I only want to send the best, I call the Flower Shop. Shirley, the owner, knows my Mom from church and will always see to it that she receives something special. This past Mother's Day, she sent Mom a beautiful azalea plant which Mom just raved about. However, when I came to visit days later, you can imagine what I thought when I saw this almost dead plant. (They forgot to tell my Mom to empty the water out of the pot.) Not a problem, when I called they asked if I would be coming into town (Mom lives in the boonies) and if so, they would switch it out for me. When I arrived, they did not have the azalea but did have lavender callas (one of Mom's favorite colors). The callas were cheaper so they gave me a credit, added a new bow, and lavender pot and we were good to go. I know I can always trust the Flower Shop to do right by me and to make my Mom happy. After having gone to the Flower Shop for over twenty years, this past Valentines will be the last time I use their services. The bouquet was the wrong arrangement, almost totally ignoring the roses (the expensive flower) and focusing on the others. The $80 product ending up looking like something that should have cost $20 from a gas station. I called to complain and was at first relieved when they said they would re-do it at no charge. The second bouquet came and it had 5 roses. I can't imagine spending that much money on such a worthless product. I went to HEB and had them do a custom bouquet for $50 that looked infinitely better. This was the worst experience with a business I have ever had. I have no idea if they have nice flowers. My husband placed an order five days before Mothers Day. I was called today(Friday) and told I wasn't getting flowers for Mother's Day. I was called by my husbands name. I was told the order was put in to late, I was spoken to rudely, I was also told they didn't have delivery service to my house, the lady argued with me, then said as sarcastically as possible, "lady I hope you have a great Mother's Day" and hung up! I will NEVER do business with this store. And I suppose I won't get flowers this year either. How sad. read more

My sister lives in Boerne and I don't so I wanted to use a local florist to send flowers to her for her birthday. I set a budget of $175. and said I wanted shades of purple and white-no other colors, particularly no pink or yellow. We talked extensively about what to put in the arrangement based on what they had in stock, which was a large selection because it was the week of Valentines day. I was very clear. Hydrangeas, lilies, iris, and roses. Little did they know my sister would take a picture of the arrangement. Why did she? Because she couldn't believe how huge it was. And not huge in a good way. The vase was 30" tall with about 9 pink flowers in it, tons of greenery and 2 stems of unopened white lilies. For $175., I would have expected a lot of flowers in a proportionate size vase. It appeared to me they used $100 on the Jurassic Park of vases and about $30 of flowers stuffing every kind of greenery to fill the vase. 1-800 flowers would have done a better job read more

I also ordered from this so called shop. Unfortunately the owner was very rude to me when I called to complain about the flowers that were delivered. The picture in on the website showed a nice arrangement with a home and garden vase. What was delivered looked like something I would have bought at the grocery store and put in a vase myself. When I spoke to the owner she said that the flower shop did not order that particular vase because it was overpriced. Well, that is interesting, why would they have that picture on the site knowing that they are not going to provide it? I realize they have substitutions from time to time when products are unavailable, but to knowingly advertise something that they do not order is fraudulant!!! FTD supposedly stands for quality, yet they allow this to go on with their affiliates? Oh, and if you order by teleflora or 1800flowers, just know that this "Flower Shop" fills those orders as well in the Boerne area. In addition, just to show how rude the owner was, she hung up on me not once, but twice! They replaced the flowers with roses, which you can't really mess up, but then they took the old flowers away, which is just so tacky. Not that the oringinal flowers were so great, they did not meet the expectations set by the website and flower shop, but it just seems so tacky that they would do that. I will NEVER order from these people again and I suggest that if you have to order in this area, go directly through the FTD website or other major vendor, at least then they will force the florist to follow through with their guarantee, because to boot, I was not able to get a refund or the guarantee because I ordered directly from the flower shop. I did this thinking it would be better and that I would have a better chance of having a quality delivery. Instead the response I got when I talked to the florist is that she had to go take care of another delivery for a wedding, and hung up on me. My boyfriend ordered me flowers from here for our anniversary. When I looked at them, half of the flowers were already dead, a daisy had been died purple as if it was meant to be used for another arrangement and at last minute they decided to place it in my arrangement, and the ribbon on the vase looked incredibly cheap. I called the shop to request them to be exchange and they asked me to take it to them when it was their mistake in the first place! They finally sent someone to pick up the flowers and sent me a different arrangement, but all they did was remove the dead flowers, remove the messed up daisy, and place another ribbon on it. The purple flowers were the whole reason why my boyfriend sent me the arrangement in the first place. We are incredibly dissatisfied with the Boerne Flower Shop and will never use them again, I don't recommend anyone using them as it appears by the reviews that there is a general agreement that their services are overpriced and lacking; that is of course, if you don't know the flower shop owner.
