We gave her a color palette and offered to send her a picture so there would not be any kind of misunderstanding and she would not accept photos. She did nothing of what was requested. She said it would cost $80 and we asked that she make it $150 so that it could be nicer. This is what she made and we could have purchased something nicer at the grocery store. Then the next day had to call and try to switch back to the hospital. What a fire drill they went through to help me. Including the delivery driver. They seemed to really think about the client and the occasion. So I called and got a very nice gentleman on the phone and explained my vision for this bouquet. My friend is a BIG Longhorn fan and I wanted a nice Longhorn thank you in honor of their recent success over Rice. Yes, they won. Hard to believe after the ND performance. So Longhorn spirit but not kitschy. It needed to reflect the sophistication of my friend. It didn't have to go out that day. Lo and behold, about three hours later, this florist texted me the creation--beautiful burnt orange flowers--mixed with a hydrangea. They even put a copper wire Longhorn imbedded in the hydrangea. It was delivered same day! My friend was delighted! I got a text from her immediately and she loved the creation. It was pefect. She sent me photos of the arrangement she was so happy. This florist is creative, responsive and willing to step outside the box. They probably don't get too many same day requests for burnt orange flowers in San Antonio. Great experience. I was trying to give flowers to my stepfather and uncle after their mother passed away, and had a really bad experience with a florist after they missed the memorial and it looked like the flowers were never going to be delivered. I was upset, especially since I could not be there with COVID (I'm in Arizona), so I ordered flowers to be delivered to their house instead from Artistic Blooms. They were professional, kind, and called me when they realized the didn't have a component of the bouquet I had ordered and fixed the issue promptly.
