They were just across from the hospital and I chose the convenient location so that delivery can be done more efficiently. The proposed display showed purple orchids, green and white would have been strikingly beautiful. To substitute those colors with garish unnatural dark blue orchids, some kind of pink and yellow flowers make NO sense..

On her website she said she offered free delivery and on the phone she even reiterated that there would be no delivery charge So I said OK The following day when I checked my receipt there was a delivery charge, And my nephew's name was misspelled. I called her immediately on Wednesday morning to please fix the name and the delivery charge At 4:00 p.m. on the day of the viewing the basket of daisies was there and it was so full of nothing but daisies that the effect of the gerbers was completely thrown off. I'm not real sure We need the extra money on those flowers. They looked overfull And crammed together. Plus, there were no ribbons with the names and the misspelling was STILL on the card. I called and she answered from her car and she turned around and immediately brought me a new card. But the damage had been done, my mother in law had seen the card and we still didn't get any name ribbons... And that free delivery? Not free. I can see why Karen is successful and has a high feedback rating because she is very nice and very customer service forward. However at the end of the day, and especially at a funeral... You would like to have what you would like to have. You would like to get what you pay for. And it would be really nice if you didn't have to pay extra for no reason.

TL;DR: She cancelled on me, ten days before my wedding, despite our compliance with every hoop she asked us to jump through in order to secure her as a vendor (and trust me, there were hoops). On our very first call with her we were completely upfront and advised that our previous florist did not meet the contracting requirements from the venue and, unfortunately, had to drop out of the event. We were over the moon when Connie agreed to take on our wedding! We provided her a very transparent list of what we needed along with inspiration photos. She was very understanding of the situation and said that she was excited about us being so organized. We were thrilled and immediately signed her proposal. SHE requested that we pay her the 50% deposit using Venmo. We did ask for the option to use a credit card, as we had kept all of the wedding expenses on the same credit card, but when she told us Venmo was the only option, we happily complied. After the payment was sent, she replied "Good morning, Kim thank you, I got it," with a heart emoji. Our assumption was that everything was fine. Over the next few weeks, we went over a few details via text and email regarding the arrangements, bridal party and venue. Our communication to her was always courteous and appreciative. Even when Connie continued to send us strange, late-night texts about her "friends who had screwed her," we continued to express empathy and gratitude, and looked forward to the gorgeous flowers we were sure she would come through with. Completely out of the blue, on the night of April 12th we received an email saying she was not a good fit for us because we had used Venmo as a form of payment. If you'll recall from above, Connie had specifically requested Venmo, so we were deeply confused. We were devastated, as it was TEN days before my wedding day. When we messaged her that morning to make resolution, she told us that we should just buy our flowers from HEB, our local grocery store. I will never know why she led us on to believe she was going to provide the flowers for our event and then cancel just ten days prior. I write this review in hopes that others will recognize Connie for the unprofessional woman that she is, and save themselves the pain of having their wedding nearly ruined by someone unwilling to do the work, or at least unwilling to make the decision to drop out in enough time to be replaced.
