Amazing flowers and ambiance inside. I love the flower walkway in the back and how this place is entirely family run. I would recommend this to anyone looking for flowers, it's absolutely spectacular! Can't compare to other places around Westport that I've been to. I've been using the Flower Fall as my go-to florist for years. Cyrus the florist goes to the New York City flower markets very early every morning, and selects beautiful flowers from around the world. He is happy to take some general guidance (color scheme, variety, origin) and then he creates beautiful artistic bouquets. I have found the flowers to be very fresh, and the the bouquets long lasting. The Flower Fall is a very local, very Westport institution. Martha Stewart, someone generally accepted to have impeccable taste, was a customer when she lived in Westport. Cyrus is an artist, with an artistic, somewhat eccentric personality. He perhaps does not suffer fools gladly, but certainly knows his way around a flower arrangement. read more

Their telephone greeting was "hello" and I had to ask if it was the florist. His reply was an unfriendly yes and that they were busy, 1-2 days behind. I laughed and explained that I was wondering about a same day delivery. He said no and hung up on me before I could ask for another delivery day. He lost my business and gets this review. read more

I met the owner - he seemed nice enough and after seeing some of his work, I figured this guy knew what he was doing. So I placed an order about a week in advance for a 9am delivery. On the day of, no flowers came. I saw they didn't open until 10am, so I called at 10:30am, no answer. 10 calls and 3 voicemails later, nothing. I finally came down to the shop to pick up the flowers myself - it was still closed by 11am! I had a get together planned for 11:30am, so in a panic and ran to pick up flowers elsewhere. He may have great flowers, but I'll never know. And I'll never stress myself out waiting for flowers like that again... read more

This team is great. Fast, easy, accommodating, beautiful! I ordered two arrangements for a funeral. I told Cyrus i had no idea what i wanted, but i wanted to keep them each at a certain price point. A true artists, Cyrus made two stunning and very different arrangements that were very appropriate for a funeral. One was in a vase and the other in a beautiful basket. They were stunning and exactly what i wanted, even though i didn't even know what i wanted. They delivered the flowers exactly when i wanted and were a true pleasure to work with the whole time. Additionally, this was all within two days. I will use Cyrus for all my flower arrangement needs. Highly highly recommend! read more

I don't understand the 5 stars reviews! Went there once, a very unpleasant man took my order. I choose color (said I only wanted blue and white) and let him decide what flowers he was going to select based on my price point. I noticed one of the lilies was already at the end of its life and asked if he could change it. He simply ripped it off and said " there, Happy now? " I was just stunned! Maybe he had a bad day, but he will never get my business nor any positive review. I now happily go to Compo or Hansen. read more

I can not say enough about the EXCELLENT customer service I received from this shop. I called in from NYC, texted them a picture and a price point and they were SO accommodating. The owner was very sweet and thoughtful, he helped me google images of flowers to make sure I was getting what I imagined and texted me a picture of the bouquet once it was complete. This place is owned by Cyrus who can only be described as an artist. His arrangements are so incredibly magical they don't look real. My husband periodically brings home bouquets from him and they all look like still life paintings. Sometimes they have rustic thistle and ivy and actual bunches of grapes or real blueberries still on the branch. Sometimes there will be large cherry blossom branches with little pink flowers just coming into bloom. Sometimes there are 'dinner plate' peonies which open up as wide as their namesake. It's a special gift to get a bouquet from Cyrus. I honestly wish I knew him back when I got married as I would have loved for him to do my wedding flowers. Yes he is forgetful and sometimes doesn't answer the phone but he is an artist! So have patience with him read more

Buyer Beware! If you value your dollars, and appreciate value for money, avoid this store. I heard great things about this florist, and I am always happy to buy local, but another florist will benefit from this experience. My husband bought me a beautiful arrangement for mothers day; cherry blossom and peonies that looked striking, at first. As the peonies opened, they smelled rotten. The smell worsened each day. The entire arrangement lasted 4 days and then I had to throw them on the compost pile. I called to explain the smell and he said that I was the first to complain, but I should come by and he would offer a replacement. I stopped by a few times, but the store was closed I finally met him today. When I explained the situation, he inferred that the smell much be from my house. When he asked what I wanted him to do about it, I explained that he offered a replacement as a good will gesture. He then told me that he would give me a replacement and asked that I never visit his store again. Needless to say, I left without the flowers, and told him that I would gladly share my experience with the universe. I'm sure he is a very creative florist, and some of these images of his flowers are truly wonderful, but his customer service is appalling. read more

The flowers from Cyrus Paktinat at the Flower Fall are absolutely AMAZING!!! Cyrus is so creative. I have been getting the most beautiful arrangements from him for years. Each arrangement is so unique and beautiful. Last week I received an arrangement from him because I am at home recovering from surgery. Everyday I would look at the flowers as they open and they are so beautiful. This a GREAT florist. We stopped here to buy some orchids. Right away Cyrus guessed correctly that it was for a housewarming! Instead of just handing us the orchid, he carefully transplanted it into a pot, placed some tree moss in the pot to keep the orchid moist, and gave us instructions on how to care for it. Cyrus is a very knowledgeable and pleasant person. He is patient and meticulous, and complained that customers are often in a big hurry. He even invited me for tea in the back when I stop by again! read more

This is absolutely the MOST TALENTED florist I have ever used. I called from South Carolina several weeks prior to my desired delivery date to order an arrangement for a special friend and was first impressed by the personal customer service provided to me by Mr. Paktinat. He took a great deal of time over several phone calls (yes, he actually called me, also!) to make sure the arrangement was perfect using flowers he hand picked especially for my arrangement which was absolutely beautiful (he sent pictures to me prior to delivery -- I have never dealt with a florist would bother to take that extra step ! ). The arrangement was delivered it in an extremely timely manner; especially considering the massive snowfall in late January and slick road conditions. I will never use FTD again -- any flowers I need to send to that part of Connecticut will be ordered at The Flowerfall of Westport. Should my order need to be delivered out of his area, I would not be happy, but would use whomever he recommended as he is a professional. read more
