I felt awful because I meant to wake up earlier so they wouldn't have to go out in the heat. A very nice guy came by like 20 minutes later with my order. I asked him if I could tip over cash app or Venmo because I didn't have any cash and you couldn't tip on the site. He absolutely refused, I insisted, and he told me that he wasn't even the delivery guy. He said that they gave the delivery fairies a couple days off because it was so hot. I'm not sure if he was the manager or what, he had a lot of tattoos up and down his arms and was white or light skinned (the lighting is horrible in my hallway), but he was so sweet! I have a broken ankle right now but once I can get out of the house I am showing up there and tossing a 20 in the tip jar. I've lived in Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and NY. I'm so happy that dispensaries finally are showing up here, in this place has the best selection, best service, best prices (relative to New York), & best vibes of any dispensary I've ever used. I purchased a $75 Stiizy vape that turned out to be defective after barely using it. I brought the…read morevape back into the dispensary where I purchased it, and the sales associate (very nice and helpful) verified the purchase in the system, confirmed the product was barely used, apologized for the situation, and said she would have to contact her manager to see what they could do to resolve. I waited 30 minutes for the manager to return to the store, just to be routed to the general manager on the phone. Sheena, the general manager, was completely unhelpful and refused to offer any solution. Instead of addressing the issue, she spent 10 minutes interrogating me about when I noticed it wasn't working, and the timeline of purchase to returning it to the store to address the issue. She continued on with a tangent about how they are not a "big product company like Sephora". I asked how that was relevant to selling dysfunctional vape products and her reply was "she used to be a manager at Sephora and they could easily refund defective products". It was clear she had no interest in helping customers or standing behind the products they sell. Extremely disappointing and a waste of time and money. I won't be returning, and I'd recommend others take their business elsewhere.

Yes, this gorgeous, impossibly high-ceilinged former bank building in Greenpoint is now a Flynnstoned. I didn't even need to purchase anything, but I had to check it out. And it's stunning inside. There are clean glass cases displaying all the things one might want (vapes, gummies, tinctures, flower, drinks), and the selection is pretty robust. The prices are not as horrible as one might expect considering the rent here must be bananas, and the staff was cool. We had a couple hiccups surrounding my own confusion around cartridges and more (I am not very experienced in all this), but a lovely woman named Mya helped me out and we figured it all out. This is the only Greenpoint dispensary I've been to, so I can't say whether or not it's the best, but it's certainly the most grand.

How do I know this for a fact about myself? 1. I live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I mean, c'mon. 2. I tend to like things when they're sold in pastel colors. 3. I wholeheartedly subscribe to the ideals of "wellness" and "health" in an otherwise stressful world. I left my yoga studio (see note 3, above) and stumbled across this place. The bottles of CBD tincture caught my eye as I was walking past and immediately as I walked in the staff approached me and asked if I had any questions. Super helpful from the start. Naturally, I was curious and asked about CBD, wanting to know if it was just like the articles I read online had described. In fact, it was. This place sells CBD products by the variety: topical lotions, drinks, edibles like candy, and your classic tinctures (oil). It's not intended to get you high, but in reality "chills you out", as I was told. Dispensaries across the legal states are probably looking to have CBD fully FDA legalized in the future (probably by millennials) as a sleep aid or antidepressant. I opted to choose a very basic looking sparkling water drink called Recess (see note 2, above) that contains 10 mg of CBD before I left, curious to see its effects. The cashier let me know that some major retailers across the city will begin to sell these too. Overall, I felt a little calmer? The budtenders are very friendly, knowledgeable, and provide excellent customer service. They have something for everyone who likes the wacky tabacky. I got a bag of Foy nighttime edibles that were a great price based on the amazing sleep I had that night. They don't run you out after a purchase either. They have a living room setup that's really cute. There is a working fireplace, mini library, and record player. So, you can relax a bit if you want. I can't wait to go back.
