Remember when I wrote that I wasn't finished desserting, even after two scoops of gelato? Yeah…read more This. I needed macarons. I'm a sucker for a good macaron. It comes down to appearance, taste, texture (love a good bite; should not be mealy), chew, and substance. I'm pleased to report that Saint Germain satisfied my sweet (French) tooth. After the sampler, I was done desserting. Yep, sampler. Why settle for one flavor when you can try them all? Well, six. Six. I tried six. And each one was excellent. The staffer was patient and helpful in leading me to a mix that would satisfy my desire to be a bit broad in my tastes but never traveling too far from sweet. Savory is not the move when it comes to these treats. My journey to France by way of Atlanta started with chocolate then went to raspberry violette (what???) then I went to the circus with cotton candy. I got a bit traditional with salted caramel, stayed there with nutella and finished up with creme brulee. When I tell you each macaron was better than the first... wow. You definitely get what you pay for -- so this wouldn't be an everyday splurge but... when you get a hankering pay for the real deal. Your tastebuds will thank you. If you're gonna go, go all in. Next time I'll venture past the macarons... but not too far.

We ordered a shot of espresso and a jasmine tea. The espresso was strong and nice, but to our surprise the jasmine tea was literally a jasmine tea bag. We were expecting brewed tea and not just a tea bag especially for the price, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. We also ordered the peach tart which was delicious! It had a decent peach flavor to it and the top part of the peach had an ice cream texture to it. Would recommend ordering one of their pastries! Service was decent. We received our orders quickly. There is plenty of seating near the cafe and throughout the hall. There is also parking in a big lot connected to the hall.

I've officially found my new favorite tea spot--and this is coming from an avid coffee drinker…read more Just Add Honey Tea Company has easily become part of my weekly routine. First off, I love that this is a Black-owned, woman-owned business, and the ladies there truly have the sweetest energy. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and taken care of. There are so many teas to choose from, which makes the experience really fun. I also thought it was super cool that they offer loose-leaf teas for purchase, along with strainers so you can create your own little tea setup at home. They also have a few pastry options, and even coffee for anyone who may not be into tea. My friend ordered the Moroccan mint tea, and I went with a chai latte. We also shared a vegan blueberry scone and a pistachio croissant--everything was absolutely delicious. I'm definitely planning to come back and explore more of the menu, and I already have my eye on picking up some tea to enjoy at home. This spot is a gem for sure.

The teapot mural is beautiful, and I love the vintage-style teapots placed throughout the shop--it gives everything a curated, nostalgic feel while still feeling elevated. The tea-ristas are always welcoming, and the owner, Ms. Brandi, is truly a gem. You can feel the care and intention behind the space. My favorite drinks are the Sippin on Sunshine and Berries on the Beltline--both are so refreshing and always hit. I also love that you can book a tea party or just sit on the patio, soak up the sun, and enjoy the tea of the day or one of their crafted drinks. It's more than just tea--it's an experience. And that's exactly why I keep coming back.

I thought she was going to go to this other place in mind but I stead she chose Breeze Confectionery. I will admit I never heard of the place but when she came home with three humongous slices of Key Lime Cake I had to looks them up in the net. The bakery has a French and African background. You can read more about them know their website. The desserts in the case make you want to swoon. What attracts me is all the colors. They have an extensive variety of cakes, pastries, croissants and even macarons. Oh what a joy to know that this establishment is located close enough to home and far enough all at the same time. The Key Lime Cake is a huge portion. It is 4 layers of goodness. As soon as I opened the container the smell came flowling out. You know it's good if the cake smells good. Oh my!!! I had to tirl it around to get a good look at it. It's a beautiful cake. The topping is a crunchy sugar, butter concoction. Made similar to strawberry crunch cake. The star of this cake is the fact that it's is extremely moist. MOIST!!!!! I tell you there is not I got dry about this cake. I could only eat the bottom layer but please believe I will nibble on this cake day by day until it is gone. Bravo to the owners I will spread the word of Facebook and Google. I hope you look at reviews because they do matter. My fellow Yelpers and Google folks make your way down to the heart of Atlanta, Municipal Market aka The Curbarket and have your self a treat. I do not believe you will be disappointed.
