It's pretty much the exact same as the tub versions you can get at Walmart lol BUT u don't get the cone!! Also way more flavors available at the shop ok Ik I wrote that like the cone is super good and worth the trip to a jeni's over a Walmart but the cone was actually kinda mid needs to be sweeter and also there's a GAPING hole at the bottom so unless you're a professional ice cream muncher like my mom and brother - hope ur ok w having ice cream dripping down your arm OR sucking in from the bottom lol in terms of ice cream: it's smooth and flavors are very natural tasting. Also not too sweet and very generous with mix ins and toppings! My fave was fs the berry ones but if u ain't got a jeni's where u live - the tub versions are just as good so u don't have to feel like ur missing out IG: Spillingthe.beans

This Jeni's location is a walk in window where they list all their ice cream flavors on a door. There's street parking, I think it's free after 7pm on weekdays. The guy working was super nice and let us try several flavors. I wound up really liking my first flavor the most and stuck with that. I got the iced molasses gingerbread; it had a strong, delicious flavor. It paired well with the milk chocolate too. I loved the ice cream scoop birthday reward.

Jeni's ice cream never disappoints. Their flavors are unique and it's so fun to try a new one each time we go. I tried the gooey butter cake flavor this time and omg it was delicious. I wish I had gotten all one flavor instead. I also tried it with the salted caramel flavor which was just ok. The waffle cone is made in house and so delicious. The person serving the ice cream was so kind and went over multiple flavors with us as well as giving us her recommendations. We loved the tips and look forward to coming back!

I came to my comfort shop Jeni's after watching Asteroid City at night two weeks ago. I got the Rainbow Fro-yo scoops as well as two pints: a Buttercream Birthday Cake and the Gooey Butter Cake. The fro-yo was refreshing but still a little too citrusy/sour for my taste. I took the birthday cake pint home and promptly finished it within a week and a half, at most. I tried the gooey butter cake but the cream cheese ice cream wasn't my favorite. They had two staff serving customers that night and both were very friendly and patient, despite the large crowd coming from the Plaza's showing of Barbie.

Delicious icecream. I love the unique flavors and the option to test try them out. The line was rather long but that was expected for the area.

This location is really convenient and unique. It is a walk up Jeni's. The service was great and there were a lot of flavors to choose from. Parking is limited.

I love Jeni's ice cream. This location has a walk up window to order and the flavors are listed at the window to see. One thing I like about Jeni's is a try before you buy. One of the worst things in life is to get a pint of ice cream you hate. They have the BEST waffle cone bones. The hint of honey and salt takes it to the top. I love their goat cheese and cherries ice cream. The gentleman at the window was very pleasant and patient with us which I appreciate. Of course our selection was amazing and we enjoyed eating our ice cream while walking.

Yep, a pretty splendid scoop shop nestled next door to the Majestic Diner. The walk-up window service gives you a peek into the quaint creamery offering their unique twist of flavors, including limited ones & a few GF/non-dairy. The door menu displays the flavors of the day, with a few bottled drinks available as well. My Daughter treated me to the $5 Lemon Bar on a Cake cone, delish. Both the Cake & Sugar cones are Vegan friendly yet contain Soy & Wheat. Next visit I'm trying the Caramel Pecan Sticky Buns. An extra treat for me where I don't have to settle for just Sorbet. If you can't make it to one of their many locations, order online. Their website also provides a detailed ingredient list. Whether you get a cone, bowl, or a pint, Jeni's does not disappoint. Uber welcoming & friendly service.

I discovered Jeni's about 2 months ago tried it and liked it. 2nd visit = Saturday 7/16/2022. 12 noonish+ few minutes. I chose PONCE location as I sometimes go that way and easily plan my driving and errands. So anyway. It's a walk up location. No seating available. I guess the location decision was based on neighborhood where people could walk back home and obviously to go (elsewhere). Kudos to Yelp Elite and Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream. The young man was helpful, great customer service and with a smile. He offered samples and suggestions. I sampled 2 flavors. Gooey butter cake (came as a highly recommended ATL fave...lol) and Rainbow BFY. I wanted to try Sunshine but they were out. I ordered Brown Butter Almond Brittle, Willdberry Lavender and the infamous Gooey Butter Cake (suggested to be different) as my trio. I ordered honey vanilla bean for my mom. We ate our ice cream in the car. It was too hot at high noon to attempt to drive back to the SWATS with ice cream. 2 successful experiences at Jeni's each at a different location and time of day.

Menu on the door. No seating anywhere though.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams has a good thing going with the low overhead space they've chosen at this location. However, the tiny store does not have an inside area for customers at all and I would expect that (at the least) they'd provide a few tables and chairs or even just a few benches for us when we come to get an ice cream. They did put out a couple trash cans- one for biodegradable materials (bowls, wooden spoons, napkins...) and one for non-biodegradable materials (plastic spoons etc). Upon first coming up to the window, we stood for a few minutes in a line on the left (turns out that it was the pick-up line) and didn't realize that the order window was free of patrons. When we did notice, the girl at the counter was helpful, cheerful, and polite. She was also excited to hear we were with the Yelp Elite Squad! Yay! Customer service is great on the employees part! I tested her knowledge and intentionally ignored some print on their menu (it says pints only for the truffle ice cream), but she didn't bat an eye and didn't get annoyed or snarky. She just smiled and said she was sorry that it only comes in pints and that they can't open those and scoop out of them because of store policy on selling them as a separate product. My sister ordered exactly what I got, so I didn't get to try a bunch of flavors- though the girl at the counter did offer any samples we wanted to try. I did sample the brambleberry crisp - essentially blueberry pie ice cream. It was ok. I guess, because of the name, I kind of expected more of a sour berry flavor. The blueberry flavor was subtle. So, for our ice creams, we ordered the trio (starts at $6.95) salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks, salted caramel, and darkest chocolate in a waffle bowl (add $1.50). Out of these flavors, we decided that the darkest chocolate was the best. The salted caramel was good and salty, but if it had actual caramel in it, then it was completely incorporated into the cream of the ice cream. It was somewhat lackluster and I thought it would have been much better with actual swirls of caramel. The salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks was pretty good- even peanut butter flavor throughout, but it also had a strong peanut butter aftertaste. The darkest chocolate was creamy, decadent, and deeply flavored with dark chocolate. It was kind of difficult to tell whether the ice creams were flavored or if they actually had real peanut butter or caramel in them. However, one great thing about their ice cream was that it wasn't ridiculously sugary- obviously it was sugary, but it wasn't sweetened to a point that it was overbearingly so. I liked that aspect of it. The waffle cones stayed crispy the whole time we ate our ice creams too. Some things to not about the location: 1.) From 7am to 7pm its free parking, but before and after, there is a parking meter across the street! 2.) There is absolutely no seating anywhere! And there's no area for people to just hang out either. This is the sidewalk y'all! Keep it moving! 3.) During traffic hours it is loud as heck! They are right by the main road and sometimes trucks go by, others people are honking horns at drivers sitting at the light, and then there's also people driving by with stereos blasting...so, it can be very loud. 4.) This was clearly an ice cream shop meant for people to grab and GO. Keep it moving! The price was a bit steep. Before the Yelp Elite discount, the bill was about $19 for 6 scoops and 2 waffle bowls. The scoops are not huge, so don't go thinking that you're going to get a massive ice cream for $9. All in all, the special thing about this ice cream is that they don't use eggs for richness or creaminess- it's all cream and milk. That's great news for lacto-ovo vegetarians- which is the largest group of vegetarians! I probably won't be back myself, but only because it's both far away AND a bit pricey for ice cream. It's double the price of Bruster's and they only had 1/3 the flavors (see the menu picture). I took 2 stars because (a least at THIS location) they didn't think ahead to provide any seating or at least get themselves situated in a place that has available seating in other places around them. Some advice for the owner(s): invest in either some benches that can be bolted to the sidewalk or some fold-up chairs that can be brought in at the end of the day. In the meantime I would recommend talking to "Southern Belle" about maybe allowing you to send customers looking for a spot to sit their way- if only for a short while.

Was recommended this place by a friend. Clean surroundings, kind staff. They were so helpful and didn't flinch when I asked to try all 31 flavors like baskin robins. I finally settled on the wild berry lavender and rainbow bfy and it did not disappoint. Je ne regrette rien.

I've always been to the other Jeni's locations in Atlanta so I was super surprised by the walk-up window aspect! There's a good amount of parking available and the line here for a chilly, sprinkly Saturday night was minimal compared to other Jeni's locations for sure. Jeni's ALWAYS delivers on flavors and customer service and this location was just as quality and nice as all the others! This scoop location has humongous scoops too!

Friday Urban Picnics is run by the Atlanta Street Food Coalition, and held every last Friday of the month from March to October, 11-2pm. Location is the back of Sweet Auburn Curb Market. At today's picnic, I arrived around 11:45 and lucked out with finding a parking spot. Lines were very short too - but that all changed after 12. Good Food Truck and Yumbii were probably the most popular. Westside Creamery, The Pop Shop (or maybe it was The Pop Stop), and Black Tie BBQ were there, too. I think almost all items were under $10. Today I had Good Food's $5 Poodle which was to die for: French Toast hot dog bun, beef dog, apple maple slaw, ... and then they strongly encourage you to add maple syrup and spicy mustard. Whoa that was really yummy - messy to eat though and I had sticky fingers afterwards from the maple syrup but no complaints from me :) Next time I'm trying one of their savory cones filled w/ all kinds of goodies! The Indian rice crispy treat sounded intriguing, too (curry, coconut, and candied fennel seeds)! For dessert I had a $3 generous scoop of Westside Creamery's bourbon & bacon ice cream. Just a hint of bourbon flavor and surprisingly thick pieces of bacon throughout - honestly I was expecting bacon-infused flavor but my bad for expecting anything else but the real thing!!
