However, many of the kids often complain about the taste. Here is the kicker, the school had a grand parents day and lunch would be provided. My kid's grand parent came home and said that the food was absolutely terrible. My daughter's grand parent is not remotely picky and when I spoke with a few other grand parents, they also mentioned how bad the food was. We (as well as other parents) will start packing next year as unfortunately we signed up for the entire year. AAA may do great for events, but they are doing a pretty bad job for schools and should take just as much pride in a school as an event.

I love throwing parties, I have thrown several since moving into this house, and I actually am one of those people that loves all of the work that goes into planning and executing parties. I have cooked, by myself, for as many as 80 people before, but this time - I just wanted to be taken care of for once, instead of being the host that's taking care of everyone else. I knew about Swig because I followed them on Instagram, and decided to contact Sara and talk to her about my event. It was a smaller event - about 40 people total - and I had it catered (first time not providing all the food myself!), so I really just wanted someone to stay on top of cleanliness and food and drink replenishment. Sara assured me that this is exactly what Swig is there for, so we decided to hire just one server to assist with our party. Angelique arrived on time (in fact I think she was a little early!) and immediately felt like a member of my family. She was so sweet and friendly, right off the bat. She got right to work and did everything I asked of her (and more) - she assisted with setting up the food when the caterer arrived while I ran around and took care of some last minute details and greeted my guests as they arrived. This also freed me up to have some family photos taken with my photographer before the event, which was awesome! Throughout the night she checked with me several times to see if there was anything I needed from her, but honestly, I couldn't think of anything more than she was already doing! She was on the ball, all night. She made sure the food and drinks were replenished when needed, and the tables were cleaned throughout the night. She even went into my house and did some dishes in my sink (not even party dishes!!) and grabbed some containers to pack up the leftover food. This was an amazing detail that I always seem to forget when I throw my own parties, and wait too long and end up having to toss the food. Thanks to Angelique, we have leftovers for days and I am very excited about the tacos I'll be eating for dinner tonight! By the end of the night, I looked around and the whole barn looked exactly as it had when I was setting it up and decorating hours earlier - like a party had not even taken place yet. Every surface was clean, there was nothing spilled anywhere, and all the trash was taken care of. Several of my guests remarked to me on how friendly she was, and what an amazing job she did as well. Hiring Swig was hands-down the BEST money I spent for this party, and I would hire them again without hesitation. In fact, I may never do my own party again, as long as Swig is around! It was SO nice to be able to relax, eat, and socialize with my friends and family on such a special day, instead of having to make sure we didn't run out of tortilla chips or water bottles. I am at the point where everytime i think about our wedding day i regret where it was done and if i could have reversed time and picked somewhere else, or even gone to the courthouse like we originally planned we would have been happier. getting in contact with your planner is so hard, it would take days to respond. we didnt even get to pick our cake flavor or anything like that until two days before (which they got wrong, we asked for chocolate and got vanilla). thats not even the part where im upset, we spent an EXTRA 300$ on a wedding video. after our wedding we received an email stating that we should be getting it in a few days. a week passed by and nothing, i emailed them and waited another week for a response and found out that they LOST OUR WEDDING VIDEO and is looking for it. my husband then emailed but with no response. another week went by and i texted them and was left in read for about 1-2 days before they told me that they figured out the problem on the technical side but no luck on our video, we should be getting a refund in about 10 days. it has been OVER 10 ten days and we have received nothing so i have texted them AGAIN and got left on read, which lead to another text a week later and still left on read and ignored. its sad to see this company more active on instagram than their clients. im grateful for the beautiful day i got with my friends and family, but i wish we picked somewhere else. i am heartbroken. we have no way to look back on our special day except with iphone pictures my friends and family took. we had a friend record the whole wedding and told him we didnt need it because we were getting a professional one done, so he deleted it. we understand they are very busy people, but when you screw up so bad like losing a whole wedding video you should be a little more caring than you are. reading these reviews have showed us that we have been treated worlds differently than other couples, unfortunately not in a good way. thank you elegant celebrations, for making our day definitely something we wont forget.
