It wasn't bad bad. I would say it's more of a rub down then a massage. A lot of slapping and sweeping movements. They had the hot stones, which didn't stay hot long. The couples massage was done a bit different. You're in adjoining rooms separated by a curtain. Kind of defeats the purpose. I hate it when my massage is interrupted by some one answering the phone or the door. I'm the paying customer and that really kills the vibe. Figure it out. The actual service is good. It's the attitude of the owners of this establishment is why I will NOT be patronizing this business again. I've been here at total of 3 times. Each time it seems that the owners want to try to tell me which service to get. Today, I asked for a 60 min foot massage. There were 3 workers at the establishment. Two of which I know massage. The store doesn't close until 10pm on Sundays. Shortly after I sat down the owner asked me to change my service to just 30 min due to another appointment after me. I agreed to be nice. After the service I wanted a stamp on my punch card and she refused saying it was for customers with hour long services only. The male manager is far nicer than the female. And both the owner and the masseuse assumed I was pregnant after I just had a surgery on my stomach so it is swollen. Everyone with a belly isn't pregnant and they as women should be more sensitive about it. That's rude as hell. I will not be returning. Shame because it's really close to home. Ok, let me start off by saying that I lived in China for a year and a half, and so this type of massage place is not a foreign concept to me. It's a very typical set up for a Chinese massage place, with men and woman who are actually trained in China for this type of massage. It's a small place, probably about 6 beds in the main area (yes, this means you might be getting a massage right next to a perfect stranger) and 2 massage beds in the "private" curtained off area. The massages are given OVER your clothes, which is kind of nice. You start off laying on your back, with your feet soaking in a tub of nice warm water. By the end of the 70 minutes, you've received not just a foot massage, but a FULL BODY MASSAGE. Lots of reflexology take place during this massage, and it's just an overall relaxing experience...but you just have to get over the fact that it's not your typical spa. I will warn you, you definitely want to wear casual, comfy clothes, preferably clothes you don't care about getting dirty as they do apply oil when massaging your back/neck. Also, don't wash your hair before going....you'll want to do that after the massage. They do use the oil when massaging your face, so if you have sensitive skin, make sure you mention this up front. Oh, did I mention they have a special???? $30 for 70 minutes! How can you pass up on a deal like this? I mean, I can't, and I don't....can't stop won't stop going back to the foot place! read more

Anyways, this place doesn't have the comfty bed we expected. Didn't have the couple private room. And the girl worked on me was OK. Mid way though I was regretting that I didn't go to happy feet. Decided to come here today on a whim after lunch next door. Overall it was a good decision and a 30 minute foot massage after lunch is always nice! My friend and I walked in around 12:30 and the place was empty so they took us straight into the back room. There were 4, maybe 5 massage chairs that were empty. The two ladies helping us brought hot water for our foot soak and helped us lay back and get comfy. Pillow could have been a bit more comfortable and I honestly should have asked to be sitting up a little more as laying back that flat isn't always the best for me. Anyways, we soaked for 5 minutes then we received our massages. Pros: 30 minutes for $20 Clean environment Lights were lowered during the massage. Very Welcoming Staff The massage was exactly what my feet needed - she started off softer and worked up to a rougher massage that was great! Large towel over my body and legs and an eye towel for comfort. Cons: Music would have been nice and relaxing but the 'cd' or whatever it was playing on skipped and scratched constantly - I almost asked her to turn it off. Its not private. Last week, the woman that did my friends massage had "limp hands" and seemed quite disinterested in being there. The gentleman that did my massage did a decent job, but I had a hard time getting past the smell of cigarettes and could never truly enjoy it. I had to go home and shower immediately as the smell of smoke was in my hair, skin and clothing. It was a very poor experience and left us feeling very disappointed. Had a great massage here the other night. Staff was friendly, prices were great, and I really liked that the masseuse wasn't afraid to dig in and get my knots taken care of. I think the lower star reviewers must not be familiar with this style of massage - it's an open room with multiple beds, and you'll hear other people talking occasionally. This is an authentic Chinese massage place, not a western-style spa environment. It starts off with a foot soak and a face/head/neck massage, then they do your feet, then front, then flip over for the back massage. The guy who worked on me was great, but I also like deep tissue massage and my main complaint about most massage therapists is that they don't go hard enough. Just walked in for a foot massage. A guy who seems like the owner just stays seated and stares at me. I asked if he's available and he says yes. I wanted to get a 60 minute foot massage ($30 value) and he looks confused and points to the $40 massage that includes the back. I said i just want the foot and he doesnt answer for awhile so i ask again if he's available. He says okay and walks behind the doors to the massage room. Before i headed in, i asked if he offers shorts because I was wearing long pants. He replies with an annoyed, rude attitude. I told him I wont be getting the massage and just stepped out. Love this place!!! I mean, where else can you get a 70min massage for $30??? They call it a foot massage, but really it's a full body massage. You lay dressed in these really large reclining massage chairs, soak your feet in hot water, then get a massage from your head, all the way down to your feet. Then you turn over and they do your back all the way back down to your feet. It's very clean, the owner is super nice. My husband has always had a good experience with whatever lady he's had. This is the best massage place I've been to so far in DFW! I went to have a dinner at Christina next door then decided to give this place a try since I had a severe neck pain lately. The minute I walked in I had a good feeling towards it, not only the people are friendly and accommodating but it is very clean including their bathroom(sorry I'm big on hygiene :p) !!! Most importantly the masseuses know what they doing. They recommended me the 1 hour combo with hot stone and my masseuse Ben was right on point and fixed my neck! It is traditional Chinese deep tissue massage so I did feel some pressure but not painful or I couldn't handle. I felt a bit sore after the session ended but as I drove home I felt my muscle been relaxed and not so tight any more. When I woke up the next day, I know I've found the right place! Cuz the pain and soreness are gone!!! Ben is amazing! Every time when I felt tight on my neck and shoulder or back pain I came for him! Last time I went was after I shopped at willow bend mall nearby. My foot was killing me for those high heels hours so I got the basic 1 hr foot massage. They first soaked my feet with fresh warm water as I can hear they went in to prepare your bucket WITH PLASTIC SHILED(again I'm a big hygiene fan), meanwhile they will work on your head and arms, then they will work on your feet and lastly is your back. The whole session was done with full cloth on vs combo I had my top off but honestly I still like combo better because I felt it's more intense if you want to focus on certain areas, but if you just want a relax or like me on my feet a lot then foot massage is all you need. Went here for the first time yesterday after work. Honestly, I'm torn. The pros: Friendly staff Accommodate last minute reservations $30 for a 70 minute massage The cons: Ridiculously uncomfortable back massage Loud noises from the salon next door The foot place was very accommodating. I called at 4pm to book appointments for three women at 6pm. They happily welcomed us, and were willing to answer a million questions (what do I wear, cost, etc). I arrived about 15 minutes early and waited on two coworkers to arrive. I got to hear a couple who had just finished rave about Frank and thank the front desk immensely. That's a good sign right? My companions arrived and we were taken into the main room. They had four little bed-chairs and we were instructed to lay face down. The first half of the massage was awesome despite the loud noises from next door and the skipping music over the intercom. The second I turned over, everything changed. The back massage... Well, it was very uncomfortable. I'm talking elbows and full on pressure from a 160+lb Asian man. I think my neck was the worst. He put full body weight on my upper shoulders/neck and pushed my face into the chair hole so hard that I almost couldn't breathe, and thought my eyes might proptose. He held pressure for a good 15-20seconds. The massage ended shortly after. As we were walking out, both women I went with complained about the back massage being way too rough. Made me feel better knowing it wasn't just me. I think, for the price, the massage was worth it, but I think I'll ask them to skip my back next go round. read more

I went to this place a few hours ago. Saw the sign for $29.99 for 70 mins, which is great. Wanted to get the combo of foot massage, neck, back. However, during the foot massage, the pressure was so weak, I asked him to press harder. He did (a little bit), but still not enough. I've gotten lots of foot massages, and I've had women in their 60s use more pressure than him (he looked like he was in his 30s). After asking several more times, I gave up asking. When I went to pay, I decided he didn't deserve a tip, since he ignored my requests to do a decent job. This is probably the first time I haven't tipped for a $29.99 massage, but his ignoring me and negative attitude really bothered me. Then when I gave him $30 even, he looked at me and asked, "Where's my tip?" I said, "I can't believe you're demanding a tip! That was the weakest foot massage I've ever had!" The NEXT part was UNBELIEVABLE. THIS GUY FOLLOWED ME INTO THE PARKING LOT ASKING FOR A TIP!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I thought he was gonna follow me all the way to my car!! Really creeped me out! I have no idea what his name is, but that is BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL! I've worked in food service and other jobs where tips come with the territory BUT REMEMBER, TIPS ARE OPTIONAL!!
