I was really sad to read all the negative reviews. I walked out having a great experience with both staff and service! My massage therapist was Coco and gosh-oh-mighty does she have a pair of strong hands on her. I asked her for extra firm and she did not disappoint the whole way through. I have tons of knots and tightness and she found those knots and worked on them. She was less routine and stopped and put a little more attention on those tight spots. She checked on me time to time to make sure I was ok.... The aftermath... probably shouldn't have asked her to go so hard bc I was broken the next few days but that was self-inflicted, completely at my request. I share that to say, she listen and she did! These ladies were awesome!! Detailed and strong! So much power in such tiny hands! My body was telling me that I hurt in places that I didn't know that I even owned :) Professional and so accurate and pinpointed. Easy, medium, or deep... be prepared for lots of elbow action! FREAKIN' elbows of fury... but I had some spots that I was too wimpy to take, so I just said "that hurts too much". She switched over to a lighter pressure on those spots and told me "thank you for talking to me". But on ALL the other areas, she "hurt me GOOD". I have chronic pain and this is so much more therapeutic than medicine when I am bad locked up. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who has a kind heart and bought us these magical, miracle, painful, skillful escape!! Well worth an awesome tip!! Good prices and a peaceful setting! My first visit to Crystal Spa and it was great. I had many knots in my back and asked for the deep tissue. The next day I feel much better as the knots are gone. Stella was the best massage I have had to date. She speaks enough English to properly communicate your specific needs. She has strong hands, asked me how I was doing multiple times and did the full 60min with the front desk interruption added on and even though she had to step out once in the 60 min massage to check the front desk she then sincerely apologized for it. Place is clean and I guess recently renovated. It appears most of the reviews are old so give this place a try and ask for Stella. Just don't hog her, as I will be a regular. read more

Had lunch here yesterday and saw this place at the corner, decided to give a try since I still had an hour before my next meeting appointment in the area. First impression was clean and quiet. A Guy greeted me and promptly arranged me for an hour full body massage per my request. His skill is top notch and attitude is very good, I actually fell asleep pretty soon and he friendly woke me up when time was up. But he offered me to stay as long as I needed. Recently I had probably one of the worst experiences ever at this establishment. I've waited to write a review as I wanted to reflect on my experience. Didn't want to over react. Sadly one of the employees chose to yell at me when I shared I didn't receive the service I asked for. He chose to raise his voice and argue with me. Told me I was lying. I was very aware of what I asked for because I've gone to this location many times. He wasn't attentive I guess when I arrived as he seemed in a hurry. No front desk help. The actual person who worked on me did a fine job. But the experience afterwards was horrendous. It took what should have been a relaxful experience and turned it into a miserable experience. This gentleman who yelled at me could have been having a bad day. But honestly it was inappropriate and uncalled for. I won't be going back as a result. Sadly what used to be a wonderful place apparently has lost its class and UPDATE: Tonight I received call from owner and we had opportunity to talk regarding this situation. We talked about what should have been done differently and how it could be improved for future customers. He was receptive and not only accepted my thoughts but offered me a gift card for future visit. I've decided to give them another try because of his follow up and sincerity over the phone. I've changed my original Star rating from 1 to 4 as a result. Went back today and received a phenomenal massage and will be back again as a result. We (my mother & I) arrived 30 minutes before our appointment because we thought we were scheduled for 7, but were actually scheduled for 7:30. No worries! We had to wait until 7:55 to get in a room and the massage didn't start until 8pm. Now there were many unnecessary short breaks during our massage. The masseuse stepped out for 2-3 minutes after every 10 minutes and wasted a lot of time 'fixing the towel' each time she returned. The massage quality was poor and nothing like my past experience at other OD wellness locations or any other massage parlour. There was no oil used and upon asking were told that 'No oil in combo' To top off the already disappointing treatment, they both ended the massage at 8:50, 10 minutes before the designated time. I was surprised because we had signed up for the 60 minute massage and it has been 50 only. (Probably 35 minutes of which was massage). They stood their denying that it was done and called the front desk person because their English wasn't great and they didn't understand. He came and accepted that our massage didn't start until 8 pm and told them to do another 10 minutes. However, the 10 minutes were very poor quality and you could tell they didn't wanna assist us anymore. There was no pressure and the service was pretty disappointing! I didn't want to tip for the poor service I received but when the front desk person asked, I said the service was eh okay (because I didn't want to sound rude) when he asked me how much I wanted to tip, I said 5%. Which would have been $4.95 because our total was $90. But he ended up charging us a flat $100. A 11 % tip.) I didn't say anything then because it's Christmas time and I know everyone deserves to be happy especially during these hard times but as a business I think they should try harder to gain business rather than losing it. I was very excited to find out they have a branch in Carrollton today, however, given this horrible experience and $100 down the drain, I won't be returning, nor will I be recommending this to anyone. read more

My massage was subpar. I had people switching in and out and one of my masseuse was wearing jeans which was super distracting. There wasn't full privacy for me to put my garments back on. When I gave my 15% tip, I was then told I was required to tip 18%. I wasn't given a written policy regarding tipping prior to my massage. My husband and I have come here many time over the past several years. At first we LOVED IT! We have noticed a bit of a decline in experience over that time. The experience is inconsistent depending on who you get. This last time was a total departure from our positive experiences. For some reason people kept going in and out of the room, each time a flood of light and voices disrupted the usual calm dimly lit room. I have no idea why because there was maybe only one other customer there the whole time we were. The person I had took a long time to come back after leaving a couple times. Then the massage itself was hit or miss, the foot massage was the most disappointing. It was more like an untrained glorified foot rub, nothing like what we've experienced before. The kicker came when we were checking out. Even after the disappointing appointment my husband had planned on giving a 15% tip. So while he's filling out the tip on the receipt, WHILE BOTH EMPLOYEES WATCHED INTENTLY, she interrupts him and says is that for one or both? He says both and she suggests that he change it to what amounts to 20% because that's what people "usually do". I hope they enjoyed the extra 5% because that is the last money they will be getting from us. read more

I just received the best massage ever! My therapist was able to get rid of some terrible knots I have been carrying around. If you have high anxiety and hold on to stress in your body, this is certainly the place to release the stress. I feel about a million times better than when I walked in! The frustrating part was that some areas were very good, like my back, but the foot and leg massage was just the same motion over and over without any attention to detail. Its just poor customer service when your open sign is on, you are inside and sign to me closed and i wait around in front to write this review and watch you turn off the lights and open sign precisely at the posted closing time. Me and my boyfriend came here on a kid free night to RELAX!! We usually go to Zen by our house but they recently went up on their pricing so we decided to try somewhere new. This is now our new spot! Jason was amazing. His hands we very soft and his pressure was just right to keep me relaxed and not clinching in pain during the message. They took their time and had relaxing music playing. My only wish is it was a more private room since we came on a busy night there was about 6 other people in the room with us so a few small conversations going on every now and then.
