The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and caring, I mean really caring and sweet. The food is delicious, healthy and there is plenty of it. If residents don't like food they just have to ask and another food will be made for them. There are all kinds of activities and excursions with plenty of staff to help; and they throw some of the best parties I have ever been too. Medical staff is on hand which is very helpful. My grandmother arrived and was very scared (she lived in her home over 65 years) I swear within a day or two she really started to love the place. She has made many friends. What I like best is that we don't have to worry about her. We don't have to spend the weekend, doing laundry, cleaning and help with her showering. We get to spend quality time with her. That's the best feeling in the world. The place has just upgraded the place, new carpets, new paint, new furniture everything is spotless and beautiful Kathy Braga is the Chief Fun Fairy and Director of Middlewood's. She runs a tight ship with lots of love. She makes everything run seamlessly. My grandmother has long term care insurance and they gave us so much trouble to get them to pay for my grandmothers care. Kathy dug in and we got the result we wanted they'd pay for her care. I don't believe that we would have gotten the same conclusion with out her. We love her, we love the place and we are very, very happy.

The rooms are very comfortable and the hallways resemble a college dorm with small tables of knick knacks and seasonal decorations. My mom gets her hair, nails and pedicures done on the premises. Also on the premises is a geriatric doctor and psychiatrist, both of which my mom sees. There are activities every day and also a van that takes residents to doctor appointments, the store as well as field trips and Wii bowling competitions with other assisted living communities. There's something for every level of care for seniors and I am very happy to have my mom living there.

Apt has a built-in nightlight in the warm that automatically comes on when I turn off the lights totally. Equipped with a fully standing Refrigerator and Microwave Oven, lots of closet space,, room for a computer desk and TV stand, plus electric recliner. I am utilizing the total Assisted Living Program, which includes 3 meals per day ,laundry service once a week, and medications management. What impressed me upon my first tour was the cheerful decor and bright Living with many lighting in use that gives a feeling of plenty safety!!! A person can come to the dining room with vaulted ceiling for breakfast any time 7AM- Noon, or Lunch noon- 5PM and Dinner 5PM, to sit wherever you choose and there are no assigned seating. There is an Activity Department that offer several means to enrich our lifestyles. There is a Shuttle Bus use to transport us to nearby shopping, plus a comfy Lincoln for transportation to Dr. appointments on TUE. & THU(s). I easily accept this as my comfortable home with friendly staff to assist on any great day!!!

I reviewed and walked the premises of six different facilities and by far this establishment was the best in my opinion. There's a few reasons why, and I will explain. First off the staff, starting from Janelle and Courtney to the nurse Erin including all the aids made our family feel as though we were part of their family. It's a small establishment which I really appreciated. It made Mom feels though she was actually at home. In closing I want to give thanks to everybody at this establishment that made my mother's final days very peaceful.
