A beautiful and classy theater. I have been to the Fox numerous times due to the fact that they have a wide variety of different shows and experiences throughout the year. The prices are also moderate when compared to seeing a large production and often times cheaper than seeing a musical act at another concert venue. This review includes a visit to the Fox Club section. For this show of Hell's Kitchen, my ticket came with a reserved parking spot next to the theater with its own entrance. It does require steps but the accessible entrance is close by jf needed. The table came with filtered water and the menu had signature performance drinks, wine, beer, spirits, and food (including desserts). We had a glass of wine, signature cocktail (on the strong side), chicken quesadilla, Mediterranean flatbread, brownie volcano, and cookies with milk. Our server was so delightful and took care of us from start to finish.
What a gorgeous theater! The moment I walked in, I was blown away by the incredible architecture and beautiful details. We sat in the balcony, which offered a great view, and the seats were comfortable. One thing that surprised me was that food purchased at the theater could be brought inside during the show, definitely a nice perk since many theaters don't allow that. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Like with most theaters, arriving early is a good idea. I'm already looking forward to seeing another show at The Fox.
There is nothing like The Fox at Christmas time! We had a fabulous time in the beautiful theatre on the opening night of A Christmas Story - The Musical. The guest services staff were great the drinks were cold & the decor was magical. We love The Fox.
It's been ages since I have been to the Fox, but it's just as majestic as last time. We saw Harry Potter and the cursed Child. The actors and actresses were fantastic and the screenplay, affects, song, in the whole production were very well done. The ushers were incredibly helpful in finding our seats in such a biggest establishment. The building is very clean on the inside and you can tell a lot of care goes into ensuring that it continues to be a smooth running operation. There were drinks served prior to the show, which was really nice as well. I just got a glass of wine and it was a great addition to an incredible play.
See if you can find a review that doesn't have the words, fabulous, great, beautiful, amazing, or classy in it. It is all of these adjectives, add venerable, majestic, and elegant. It doesn't matter what you see here, it's such a special place, but it's the perfect place for a major musical.
The Fox Theatre is a St. Louis landmark gem that is worth visiting just to see the inside of the theatre itself. Yes, it is that gorgeous inside. We signed up to be season ticket holders this year (I highly recommend this if you enjoy a variety of theatre). Our tickets are not in the most expensive section but we still have a great view of the stage. The excellent acoustics ensure that you will hear everything and be part of the stories regardless of where you sit. The ushers are very helpful guiding you to your seat. There is a side entrance for people to use if they have assistive devices (ex: walker). You can dress up with you want or just wear nice casual clothes if you don't feel like getting glitzy. The first show of the 2025 ticketholder season was "Life of Pi" which I didn't know much about prior to seeing it. The special effects and puppets really brought the story to life.

We sat in the balcony with a great view of the stage and also of the ornate ceiling! I love this space for any event. The only downside is waiting in line for the bar, it is not a quick process. We had parking right near the venue and were able to exit quickly and easily, get to our car, and on our way.

There's not a bad seat in the house, and for the theatre's scale it still feels like an intimate show wherever you're sat. The ushers always go above and beyond to show you to your seat and ensure a tight ship is being run. Ive been to The Fabulous Fox many times to see some great musicals. This visit was a 90 minute tour. John was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job. We got to see the private movie viewing room downstairs, Peacock Alley and the theatre itself. We could go backstage because there was a production that day. So, if you are planning a tour, you may want to check the calendar so you can go back stage where many of the celebrity autographed walls are at. And stand on the stage which is overwhelming! At $10 this is a great tour. Coming back again to get the backastage tour
OMG Absolutely gorgeous venue!!! I finally went to my first broadway musical and I loved every second of it. The concessions have a good amount of items and mix to choose from. They do a speciality cocktail for certain shows which I love. All the service we had was great. I can't wait for my next show.
We always enjoy our experience at the Fox Theatre. It's a fixture in Saint Louis history! It's so well decorated and maintained! We are always greeted with a smile and the shows are always wonderful. The food and drinks are always well prepared.
Great venue. Easy parking across the street. I've seen Cirque du Soleil Christmas (front row) and MJ The Musical (Fifth row) here. They serve Joel Gott Cabernet and pretzels. Men's restroom downstairs to the right. Women's on the other side.
Review: Jan 2026 The experience was everything I expected and more! I went to Alicia Keys Broadway Play "Hell's Kitchen." She is my childhood/ adulthood favorite. Of course the event was on one of the coldest night we experience this past Winter in STL. For fashion, I decided to ditch my bulky coat in the truck and take the lighter instead. Fortunately, I arrived early and was able to find street parking close by and didn't have to endure the bitter cold too long Design: The architectural designs are breathe taken! It's something about "antique designs that I am always fascinated with. Food: My friend & I decided to have dinner at the restaurant next door (don't remember the name). I wanted to grab a drink at the Fox, however didn't want to miss out on any of the play standing in long lines. Service: Everyone hustled to get in after going through the metal detector or being scanned by security. There were staff members present to guide you to your seat. Overall Experience: I truly enjoyed myself. I definitely will be back! read more
Saw Hadestown and it was awesome. I really knew almost nothing about this musical and did not know any of the songs, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Listened to the original cast recording and I thought this production had even better voices than the original for almost all the players. Just a great production! read more
What an amazing theater!! An absolute great place to see a show. Really easy to Uber and get dropped off. Lines go quickly - quick metal detector scan, ticket check, and you're in! Artwork and decor is stunning! This is where you'll find many of your concessions stands as well as merchandise. If you're on the orchestra level, head straight to the back. Otherwise, take the elevator or stairs to the balcony. The rows are set steep, so watch your footing! The Curtain Call restaurant is a nice place to grab a bite before or after. Concessions inside are a bit expensive, to be expected. Bathrooms are located on most levels. read more

Had an amazing evening with my sis at The Fox Theatre. We had box seats, courtesy of her work, for The Wiz performance. We got there early so we could explore and take in all the beautiful architecture of The Fox. The organist played as we strolled through. The staff was extremely friendly and well accommodating. This building is a treasure in itself, let alone top quality performances. I'll be scheduling a narrated tour of the theatre in the future so I can take in more of its beauty. They do offer food and it smelled wonderful but we were full. Next time. read more
If you haven't been to The Fox Theatre in St. Louis yet, what exactly are you doing with your life? This place is a cathedral of excess and is the epitome of what happens when you give 1920s architects too much money and tell them to go nuts. It's grand, it's gorgeous, and yes, you should support it so we don't end up losing another historic venue to a parking lot or, God forbid, a CVS. Now, let's talk Shucked. If you're wondering, "Is this a musical about corn?" Why yes. Yes, it is. And somehow, it works. It's got the vibe of an extended dad joke that accidentally turned into a Broadway show. The humor is unapologetically corny, get it? There's wordplay so relentless it feels like the writers made a bet to see how many puns they could cram into two hours. The Fox is a gem. Shucked is ridiculous in the best way. And if you miss it, well, that's just ear-responsible. Ha! read more

I just love the Fox. The elaborate and beautiful theater room really takes you back with the opulence of a bygone era. The ushers are so helpful, I was walked to my seat. We only got m&ms and ice cream, but they were good as usual. read more

Another wonderful at The Fox! We recently saw Six and had a wonderful time, our limited view seats gave us a pleasant surprise with how 'unlimited' they really were. We had a positive guest experience from an employee. My cousin dropped her license on the way in while still outside the theatre. Once we got inside and realized it was missing we only had a few minutes to get to our seats before the show began and decided to look for the ID on the way back to the car. To our pleasant surprise a Fox employee was waiting at our seats with her ID as it already had been found. We were truly impressed with how quickly they were able to address a missing ID! We didn't catch her name, but thank you to the employee who returned the ID! read more

How can anyone have nothing but a breathtaking experience when going to the Fox Theater! Every time I step into this historic and beautiful theater this is always my experience. This breathtaking ornate theater always leaves me in awe as I look at the detail that went into designing every nook and cranny of the space. The performances that are held here are always top notch, from comedic plays and musicals to Irish dancing and Christmas concerts. The venue is located in walking distance of other museums, music venues, and restaurants if you're adding the Fox Theater into a day outing. read more

We spent close to $1,000 for ten tickets in the balcony section, the fees were astronomical. My kids couldn't see, it was extremely hot, the elevators were a nightmare, and the show started late. The sound was also terrible there was so much we couldn't hear. Guest services wasn't much help, It was a great experience for the kids but I don't see us ever coming back. read more

I love catching a good performance at the Fox theater. I've seen Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Lion King, Kevin Hart and more. There are several parking options from street parking and a garage. You definitely want to get there early to park and get in line to see the show. It's a nice venue with comfortable seating. If you go to the box and purchase your tickets you save $$$ on the extra fees! There are several nearby restaurants to enjoy before your show as well. They do have drinks and some snack options available for purchase. I think there's a restaurant there as well? The Fox is a STL icon. Be sure to go check out a show. They also offer tours. read more
The Fabulous Fox Theatre is one of a kind! There are others in the nation but not Fabulous. This beautiful event space holds anything from comedy to kids events to the more known Broadway shows! Parking all around the theatre along with a parking garage so it isn't horrible to find a spot. When you get inside, there are workers everywhere helping you find your seats & guide you to your spot. They have a bar & snack area on the main level when you walk in if you're thirsty or want a little snack & on each level so you don't have to walk back. Make sure to check out a show when you're in town because you won't be disappointed! read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed The Fox yet! I am obsessed with this place! So many great shows, so much history, and an overall beautiful theater. The staff is beyond helpful. I feel like I can tell when speaking with them that they all love working there and are truly passionate about the theatre and the shows. The only thing I wish was that they had more bathrooms. But that's a difficult thing to change. read more

The Fox always has great shows and gorgeous decorations especially during the holiday season. You can enjoy an adult drink or sodas/water and some snacks during the show or have a full dinner next door in the adjoining restaurant before the show. Helpful staff is there to point you to your seats as well. Always a good time at the beautiful Fox! read more
The Fox theatre is so grand and beautiful! I just seen Mrs.Doubtfire. It was unbelievably good! The main actor was so talented- many voices, he did Mrs.Doubtfire voice perfectly! The young girl that played the daughter (the 15 yr old) had an awesome voice! I would go to a concert just to hear her sing!! We parked in the parking garage for $15 and it was an easy walk in and if you go out of the stage left side of building you can walk right into the garage. That makes it very convenient! It was a great experience. It always is! They have specials they send out at the end of the month if you do ever buy tickets, you will receive those notices. I loved it! read more

I went to see The Musical Tina Turner. It was awesome, no complaints at all. Parking was reasonable at $15 and right across the street from the theater. Getting in venue was speedy and in a straight formation. Staff was friendly and helpful directing us to our seats and restrooms. Drinks were strong and sensational. Ordered a double shot Tito's and pineapple for $18 . The performance was phenomenal. Three hours of entertainment. Singing , storyline and costumes were executed very well. Best performance I have seen in a long time. Will definitely be back for more shows at this venue! read more

What's not to love about the Fabulous Fox?! It's a beautiful historic theater and they consistently bring fantastic shows to St. Louis. They do a great job of checking people into the theater and lines move quickly. The bartenders are hard-working and speedy and the restrooms are always super clean and well attended. While the theater is quite old, the seating is still very comfortable and I've always been happy with the seating I've purchased whether it was in the balcony or orchestra pit. This my first time seeing Wicked and I thought it was good. I've been to many events here including seeing Richard Harris' last run of Camelot, Harry Connick Junior's Christmas concert, Duran Duran, Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera, and list goes on. A family member was even married here! Born and raised in St. Louis "The Fox" is ingrained in our DNA. I believe it is one of our most treasured attractions for out of town visitors and hometown patrons alike. read more

The Fox theater is so beautiful! We were so lucky to see the back to the future musical and we're so impressed by the production, the themed drink, and the staff. So worth the expense and such a magical experience. read more
