My (now) husband and I had the incredible pleasure of finding Skylight in Denver, CO and had our wedding there on April 13, 2025. First, let me start by saying we had the most amazing experience working with the Skylight staff. From start to finish, every single person at Skylight was so sweet, welcoming, and patient, we were in such great hands!! We went in person for a intro meeting and after every question I had written down were answered without skipping a beat and we were kicking ourselves for not bring our check book to put down our initial deposit. Thankfully, we were able to do it online as well and had our date booked! It's a very DIY space and the rental was for a full 24 hours. So we had the confidence going into it that after the wedding was over we could come the next morning to grab our belongings. Once we started getting more into planning and booking the rest of our vendors we realized we were barely treading water and needed help. Thankfully, Skylight offers planning services and we were able to book the wonderful Sophie Shinn to be our Month of Coordinator. Starting two months out from our date, she helped us handle our ceremony & reception layout, answering any and all questions we had, helped recommend any vendors we didn't have booked yet at a great price, collected the COIs from our vendors, an amazing timeline for the entire day, set up all of our personal decor we brought in, orchestrated both of our immediate families for a smooth and quick ceremony rehearsal, and managed the whole day of the wedding with ease. I cannot stress enough how thankful I am to Sophie, Honor, and the rest of the Skylight staff that helped bring our wedding vision to life. I seriously cannot think of one thing I would have changed or done differently. Without their help, I don't think I would have been as stress-free as I was on my wedding day. Sophie listened to all of our wishes and made it a reality, she seriously knocked it out of the park!! Also, we had an all vegan wedding, with WongWayVeg (an all vegan food truck) already on Skylights list of preferred vendors, we were thrilled. We had an indoor buffet (in case the April weather wasn't in our favor) and had Green Bus Cafe as our coffee bus outside for a coffee hour after dinner. The outside set up cocktail tables were perfect for people to step out back and relax to some cooler weather before heading back in for dancing with market lights set up inside and out. Rex from Discosapien (our DJ) kept the good vibes going with our premade playlists for every section of the night to perfection. We loved the look of Skylights wood tables and metal chairs, that we based our look around it. We went with a wildflower theme and had the tables decorated with cheesecloth, faux greenery, rechargeable lamps, and mix and match bud vases. We used Skylights in house beverage service for drinks (so convenient!) and even got their in house photo booth, draping, and rented their mobile wall. Everything looked absolutely incredible seeing our vision come to life and hearing our guest rave about how excellent and beautiful everything was. Did I mention that the amazing staff also tore down and boxed up all of our decor the night of the wedding so the next morning all we had to do was load it into our cars? 1000/10 recommend booking your wedding, next event, or party at Skylight!!! Thanks again to Sophie and the incredible Skylight crew for absolutely making our wedding day perfect. Eternally grateful, The Weiseners.

Had the pleasure of working a wedding here as a wedding planner and day of coordinator. How beautiful it was to see the whole place transformed from an office setting to a whole wedding in a matter of minutes. Event coordinators on site were extremely helpful throughout the meetings over the months to the day of the wedding. They were available when needed even if it was last minute and were able to answer all of my questions throughout the day of. This place is a vibe. Stop by for a tour if you can. What's not to love about this venue?

    What an amazing venue!

What an amazing venue, The staff especially the wedding coordinators were spectacular! They had the ceremony set up, ready to go upon arrival. And the conversion to banquet/reception dinner went flawlessly while we were all out at the back cocktail hour, and after dinner transitioning to a dance floor celebration set up was flawless.. what an amazing place to celebrate my son's marriage!

We selected Skylight as our wedding venue, and we are SO happy we did. We didn't want to compete with the $$$ mountain wedding, so we went with the "urban warehouse" vibe. We had the best time, and our guests couldn't stop raving about what a cool space it was. Skylight is unique because it's a white canvas--you can really customize and make the aesthetic yours. We also loved that they had a list of reputable/recommended vendors, but didn't require you to exclusively work with their list. The team at Skylight is willing to be involved as much, or as little as you want them to. We also want to shout out Erin, who worked as our wedding planner. She was essential to making sure our vision came together, that the day of went without a hitch and that we both a great time. Skylight was the perfect backdrop for one of our favorite days ever! 10/10 recommend.

We loved having Skylight as our wedding venue. The staff was helpful and courteous throughout the process, and leading up to the wedding day. Skylight has a great vibe, which was exactly what we were looking for - An elevated, modern industrial elegant blank slate that we customized to our style. Our guests raved about the venue and how they loved it as well. We were able to have tons of flexibility in picking our vendors, which was a huge highlight. The ability to pick our own catering and other vendors made such a difference to our wedding and how personal it felt. They also provided additional decor items that we rented out, which was helpful to not have to find elsewhere. We would definitely recommend Skylight, and if I had to do everything over I would pick Skylight as our venue every time!!

I have been photographing weddings and events at SKYLIGHT for a few years now and I can't say enough about their professionalism as a team in addition to providing a venue that freaking GET'S IT when it comes to staying current on trends and helping out with such creative ideas to transform their "blank slate" space into something truly unique every time I am there! For couple's looking to get married here, it is also so cool that there are so many awesome photo locations in walking distance!! This is for sure where you want to do you Denver City Wedding!!

Is this venue just for weddings? I am loving this venue for a sweet 16 but i'm not quite sure if this is exclusive to weddings.

We can host a variety of events from weddings to birthday parties to all kinds of social gatherings as well as corporate events, non-profit fundraisers, photo shoots, etc.

The lights were still on, so we didn't realize our mistake, until they'd already invited us in to exchange our monthly growler with such warmth. Super nice people, reflecting the vibe we always felt on our other visits. The staff echoes that disposition, always friendly and knowledgeable. The lumpia is the long version and very tasty, the pancit, chicken adobo and lechon kawali plate is very good and when they have calamansi I try and get a cocktail with it because the juice tastes real lol. The few things that I think could use improvement are the tacos. I've had Taco Tuesday there maybe 4 times and unfortunately realized that the tacos are pretty oily and unless getting a non-sauce inclusive taco it's going to likely be oily. The fusion of Filipino into the tacos is a nice gesture but honestly did not do it that much for me, I ultimately like their classic types of tacos and not really the fancy/unique ones they sell. My friend also got a burrito at one point and it was dripping oil. The drinks also tend to be on the weak side and after having three cocktails there over a single meal I didn't really feel much of anything. The service and ambiance of the place is great and the owner really cares about the customers but the parking lot sucks lol, I'll continue to visit this spot for the items that I feel are good but haven't really been out for Taco Tuesday in a while.

Not a big deal, I was just thinking not everyone wants a whole and if someone is extra hungry they can take two halves. Just thought it would make things a tad easier. They tell me no. They can't/won't cut in half. Ok, whatever. I don't understand what the big deal is, they obviously posses knives... just cut them instead of saying "no". So stupid. 20ish Minutes after waiting, the person who took my order said it would be 30 minutes to make. Which was weird cause what was going on for the last 20 minutes? 30 minutes to wait is fine, if you don't waste the 20 mins prior resulting in about an hour wait. So, I declined as now we are talking an hour to get 20 simple breakfast burritos. I needed to get to work and I wasn't wanting to wait an entire hour and they just wasted 20 minutes of my time not prepping anything, so I decided not to go with the burritos. Someone came to refund my sale and then preceded to kind of scold me for not ordering in advance. He said something about for an order like 20 burritos they want 2 days heads up. GTF outta here. It's freaking burritos. You don't need 2 days to make 20 burritos. And here's the thing, I'm not here for a lecture because I attempted to give YOU business. And I won't be back, either. When you get a customer to purchase your goods, be happy. Provide them the goods. Make it as soon as you can. Don't say no for no reason. Don't make anyone feel bad for trying to give you business. It would have been SOOOOO simple to make the burritos and quick run the knife through them. But, no, the choice was to do nothing for almost a half hour, to refuse to run a knife through them as asked, and then lecture a customer for coming in to order 20 items. It's not like I asked for 100. What if 10 customers came in and each ordered 2? Can you do that? Do they get lectured, too, or...? See ya.

This is a timed, coursed dinner where the entire room sits and eats together, so arriving on time is essential. The format creates a restaurant wide dinner party feel, which sets the tone for the night. Everything feels intentional, from the pacing to the service to the design of the space. The menu changes often and is never repeated, which makes the experience feel special and creative rather than formulaic. Standout dishes for me included the duck doughnut, the wood ear French toast, the venison burger, and the leek cappuccino. The kanpachi crudo and scallop with tamarind were also beautifully balanced, and desserts like Cash's Apple and The Sphere were thoughtful finishes rather than an afterthought. One of the more memorable details was the menu book at the end of the night, featuring the chef's original sketches of the dishes. It's a small touch that really reinforces how personal and considered the experience is. If you're looking for a unique, chef driven tasting experience that feels cohesive and well executed, this is absolutely worth a reservation.

3.5 Stars…read more After waiting nearly three months for Denver's hottest reservation, my group of four were underwhelmed by our dining experience. The Good: The food itself was lovely. Fantastic flavors. Beautiful plating. If basing our review on the food alone--five stars. The Bad: Despite having been in their space for months by now, the ambiance was not there. The staff kept turning on and off the food heat lamps, which were so bright that the light level in the entire space vacillated between dark and sultry to too brightly light all night. The temperature was absolutely arctic. Multiple groups had to ask for their coats from coat check before one of the waitstaff said he looked at the heating. He made adjustments, which did increase the temperature of the room from arctic to chilly--but it remained unacceptably cold. Pacing of courses was oddly timed. The waitstaff couldn't seem to strike a good balance between casual and fine dining--it was a little awkward at times. The Bad: Despite placing our wine flight orders twice, with two different waitstaff, they forgot to give us our drinks until we asked. By then, we'd missed two of the pairings. They did offer to serve us the remaining pairings at no cost, which was a nice gesture. But, it's wild that something like this happened in a place with 16 seats and 4 waitstaff--they missed out on $400 in alcohol sales because of this error. The meal was explained to our group as a "ten course" experience. We only received nine courses: 1. The venison "hamburger" 2. Cappuccino 3. Roasted apple 4. Crudo/sashimi 5. Scallop 6. Lobster 7. Venison skewer 8. Duck leg 9. Dessert This feels like an egregious oversight. And, based on what we overheard from the table next to us--almost felt deliberately misleading. The wine pairing is plainly described in the menu as "five pairings." As dessert was brought out, the table next to us inquired about the remaining pairings, as they'd only received 4 pairings up to that point. The waitstaff tried blaming it on the fact that "dessert wine is polarizing" and "we over poured the other pairings," but those are weak excuses. If you're not going to offer the full 5 pairing flight as advertised, that needs to be communicated ahead of time. Overall: With a price point, including wine flight (had that worked out), per person of nearly $325--The Guest had too many substantial misses. While the food may be ready for prime time, the service is leagues behind.
