It's a shame to see the comments that this business is masked as something it isn't (because it's not). We recently moved from the Deep South... there are businesses abundant that support the radical right. The Freckled Bee isn't even radical left, every item in the store was focused on self-love / self-acceptance and human rights. The marketing on the store's windows clearly sets the tone for this before entering. (It's 2023... you could also consult social media posts from the store before going in to gauge what type of business it is!) The truth is, this store has the right to express itself any way it chooses and shouldn't be a target of your bigoted agenda... simply shop elsewhere if you're the type. I fully enjoyed the friendly service and bold messages of the store! The prices were also very fair! We'll be back! A friend of mine recommended I come here to shop for a few personalized gifts for the holidays. I purchased a custom etched water bottle for my sister. The employee behind the counter was incredibly, helpful, polite, and patient as I decided what on a font and design for the bottle. I am beyond happy with the finished product and will be sure to come back soon to purchase more!!! Walking into the store I saw so many positive and affirming messages!!! Window art that reads Black Lives Matter, Black Trans Lives Matter, and ALL ARE WELCOME are prominently displayed. I saw a few reviewers say that they found the window display racist. I've ordered custom engraved cups on multiple occasions and they are always very quick to complete my order and produce an excellent product. My teens and I love to browse around in their store. It's great to have them in town! To the reviewer that complained because of "left wing propaganda", Hobby Lobby can be found across town where you can be surrounded by bible verses and American flags on every shelf if you're into that kind of indoctrination. read more

Very cute shop in a revitalized area in downtown Salem. My son got a personalized cape for his 3rd birthday and LOVES it! He wore it to daycare and got lots of compliments. Came in with my buddy who was grieving the loss of a family member. We came the first time we were told to (days after the order was made) and we were asked to wait 30 minutes and return. 30 minutes later they were still not ready. Not long after my friend was called by the store and asked not to return. Uncalled for. And just so everyone knows we support BLM, Trans Rights and the like. I fully expect you to use your all inclusive status as a way to bash me personally. This is evidenced by your other negative reveiw. Would give them less then 1 star if I could... they sold our family messed up and unprofessional shirts that were made for the passing of my brother who died last month. An are now calling our family and my oldest brother "racist" and to never come back. Would highly recommend take your business elsewhere unprofessional and disrespectful. read more

We had made a bulk custom order and a handful of tshirts had markings and scratches. They handed it to us like this without fixing the issue knowing that some t shirts did not turn out well and purposely put those T-shirts at the bottom of the bag. The receipt also states non refundable. read more
