I found this place before the grand opening, and I was also first in line for the grand opening as well . (Green Hoodie and backpack.) The flower produced by this company is so speechless. There are so many words that can positively describe this Cannabis. Almost every review about Cannabis will say " sticky, skunk, lots of kief, etc.." The owner of this company knows exactly what they are doing. It is hard to explain the feeling of the smoke. The draw in and exhale is so wonderful. Have you ever had marijuana so good, that what you exhale, you sigh, or make a sound, or just say something like " OH.... mannnn" on exhale? That is this stuff. Every single flower they have. The triangle-mints makes the top of my tongue, get like a numbing, but not. It happens to me on a few others too. I think there are so many trichomes, that It kind starts a party in your mouth with taste buds I think. I have never, in my years, EVER seen so much love in the plants. The presentation alone is top notch. I don't think you can cram any more trichomes on a flower. It is now 10:40 and they open at 11am. I want to leave the last of this review to those who deserve it. The Owner is super Dope "Pun, intended". He is great guy, and you can just see it. Just meet him once. I would love to work for this guy at any job. He is a leader, and is leading the way in what you should expect from your product. Once you see and taste the flower, you will question why the Cannabis you have been smoking doesn't look like this. There really is no excuse. Have you gone to a high end weed place that places your Cannabis in a protective, black glass jars to protect it from UV exposure and air. This is top-tier everything! Last but not lease and the best for last. The staff here are just awesome. They are friendly, don't rush you, and are super helpful, and very knowledgeable. Come here! You are smiling when your welcomed in, to when you leave, an when you get home and smoke, you grin and smile more. This place, is the happy place. Thank for the years to come! 11am time to go in! Prices are extremely hard to beat. Think CA prices. We're told they're, "just trying to get their name out there," and boy are they doing a fine job. They have the highly coveted "Runtz," strain available. I especially love their high-end glass flower jars and that purchases are put in smell proof bags. Their 4/20 deals were amazing. Who won the $4.20 1/8ths for 1 year?! Highly recommend adding Cold City Cannabis to your regular dispensary rotation.

I still prefer my main place. Flower is hit or miss. Sometimes it's so so dry it's crumbly and no good. I've been in a few times and they're out of prerolls or it is a very small selection. Though once I was allowed to pick flower and they rolled it for me which was amazing, but then the next time when I asked it seemed an inconvenience (they were not busy.) They have a reward punch card system, which is cool, but it doesn't apply to prerolls (which is what I buy usually as it's an occasional purchase.)

This is the hubs favorite dispensary since discovering it earlier this month. He likes their Tueday…read more$25 eights because they give you a choice of sativa, indica or hybrid unlike other places in town that generally only offer one variety on sale which is not great if you don't respond well to indica or sativa, respectively. He says the product is quality as well. We both agree that this location on a side street is a bonus as well since many adults don't want to advertise that they partake. Side note, this store is really cool inside- it's made to look like an old fashioned apothecary with beautiful custom woodwork and floors of copper pennies.

So this place is quite interesting... At present, it is the site of grow operations and a tiny…read morediscrete dispensary. It's sister storefront, AK Green Light is a stones throw away around the corner on Northern Lights. AK Green Light, which is not yet open as of Feb 2017, will eventually be the main retail locations. But due to all the hoops cannabis operators have to go through, Ak Green Light is still tied up in red tape and not yet open to the public. In the interim, Fuzzy Budz is their sole retail outlet. The location is a non-descript converted home on teeny Eagle Street. At the time of my writing, the street is so packed with walls of snow that the store is barely visible from the street that's only 8 feet away. In winter, street parking is absolutely out of the question. There's about 8 parking spots in their lot, one of which is designated for handicapped customers with easy access to a ramp. The retail shop at the front of the building is little more than a foyer in which you place your order through a window. Even though i wasn't there to make a purchase, the staff was happy to answer my questions. As a gardener, I was interested to note this is the only place in Anchorage that seems to have C. Sativa in stock. Most shops in town are only selling C. Indica and hybrids- everyone I've asked has indicated that's what growers in Alaska are growing. They've all said there's very little available as soon as they get it in stock it sells out. This makes me wonder if the Fuzzy Budz folks are the only ones growing the Sativa species... (As a dorky gardner, I find this whole cannabis thing pretty interesting even though I don't smoke.) Anyway, what they told me is the indica is what causes you to get "couch lock" and the munchies and sativa makes you happy/high and in some cases, paranoid. The hybrids, of which there are apparently thousands, will produce combinations of effects. The prices listed seemed consistent with every other place in town. I would think that since they are cutting out the middle man and growing their own, we might expect to eventually see their prices be more competitive that the other retail shops in town. We'll see!
