The event stated an hour early. None of the contacts I was scheduled to me were listed. Instead, I was connected to contacts which were out of my state. Their customer support is terrible. I joined the speed dating a week ago and it went great! The event was advertised as 8pm, but we started early. I logged in early and got connected with nine men during the first hour. It slowed down after the first hour and I was tired after work so disconnected early from the event. Every now and then the website would offer connections with members from other states and I skipped those. I visit family members in LA often, so I took some calls from LA. Overall I'm happy about the event! I had two matches and I'm planning to go on two first dates haha. read more

Total scam. Total scam. Total total scam. IF YOU ARE A MAN, you will sit for hours and never get paired with anyone within 100 miles. I've attended FOUR of their two-hour speed dates (foolishly I gave them a second chance). Tonight I got paired with exactly one woman, after waiting 80 minutes (yes, an hour and 20 minutes) and she lives 300 miles from me! I've tried things like showing up early - no luck. I've tried everything. Wish I knew how to shut this company down, because it's infuriating to get your hopes up only to realize you've been scammed. They waste your money AND your time, and you have no recourse. Apparently they have 10x more men than women, so the men show up for a speed-date and are shown a list of more than 10 women who presumably I will meet tonight. TOTAL BULLSHIT. In truth, you'll wait and wait and never meet any of them, and if you do get one, she will be hundreds of miles away, too far to ever actually date. I live in the silicon valley, a huge metropolitan area with many single men and women - there is no excuse for this rip-off. This site was advertised as local metro area for online site dating, which by itself is a good thing. Reality is that they define a time window where everyone can join and there is no filtering on locality. End result is that you'll be paired with people all around US and also not in the age range specified. I met people from NY, MN, LA and more, I'm based in Texas. I subscribed for 3 months and after my second participation and realizing this was not as advertised I wrote their support team requesting a partial refund (2 month out of the three I already paid), no answer. I'm not going to join it anymore and I'm afraid I'll not get a refund. Feel scammed. My recommendation is to stay away from a service that doesn't deliver on its promises. read more

I paid for a month's membership in order to sign up for this singles mixer event. Guess what? Nothing happened! Texted the number they provided for help (no response). Wrote to them online (no response). This is a total scam. Not a single person in the list appeared. Meanwhile, I get random popups from strangers trying to see me from the other side of the country. It's one thing to get connected and not have things worked between people, but it's a totally different matter to ask consumers to pay money upfront for an event that just doesn't happen. To folks who have already gotten conned, I bet you are familiar with the following statement: "The event has started and you're in the queue. You'll get connected shortly." I should have researched this thing beforehand, I just didn't know that this kind of scam existed. I tried this virtual speed dating thing last Friday. I was expecting a zoom call type of thing with many people video conferencing at the same time. But it was the opposite, it's one on one video chats. More private and low key. I got 6 video chats and was interested in one guy only. TOTAL SCAM. Bait-and-switch, false advertising! In order to attend an event, you have to buy a "subscription". Then, you order tickets for the events you want. Mine was for Seattle, this evening at 8pm. I signed in to the site half an hour early to test the microphone and camera, and kept getting flooded with popup video calls, even though the event hadn't started yet. I texted the provided number for support, and their answer was that if the "app" (website) couldn't find anyone within the designated age range and city, that it would connect me with people in other cities and other ages. Why on earth would it be useful for someone to match in a completely different state, in a disparate age group? The whole point of the event was that it was for a specific location and age range. They refuse to provide (or even respond to requests for) a refund, though. read more

What a scam. They optimized their search engines so they come up high on singles event searches, even if you are looking for local events but they are far from local. The forum stinks, it doesn't allow you an opportunity to prescreen or post-screen anyone, you wait forever in between speed dates, and NOBODY is within 25 miles of where you live. Realistically, they are anyone anywhere, whomever will pay for the event or subscription and then it is a mishmash of people from all over the country. I paid for my speed dating event. The night of, I noticed only 15 people were in my speed dating group most of them women. I was a woman looking for a man. I live in the city of 500,000 people. If you include the outer lying towns it's close to a million people within an hour and a half reach. I logged in and waited 45 minutes to talk to someone. Not one person came on my screen. I can only assume the couple guys that signed up decided not to attend. I contacted the company and told them I needed my money back, because I didn't even get any dates. They refused. I went through my bank and finally got a refund. They do not deliver what they promise. Don't waste your time or money. read more

It took 1 hour to be connected to a total of three people. 3. Two were from Texas and outside of my age group (early 30's). 4. The other one was from Colorado and hadn't been connected to anyone in his area. 5. Per the event instructions, I texted for technical assistance and received no response. 6. I gave up after 1 hour and texted for a refund. 7. My 1 star rating is only because Yelp doesn't have a "zero" rating! 8. The Fun Singles advertises these events as specific to a certain local area age group. 9. It's literally a who ever is online in America chat for all age groups. 10. The chat queue is visible for you to see but it's only a small thumbnail pic without any info. 11. There's an option to skip "out of state calls" for people you weren't planning on talking to anyway. 12. I thought there was a technical glitch with the first two young men from Texas. 13. HORRIBLE DATING WEBSITE, 100% WORHTLESS. In two hours, I was only paired with 3 women. The closest was 2.5 hours away, the other two were 8+ hours away. Additionally, it took 2-3 attempts to connect with two of the women, and "online support" does not exist. I'm going to try and get a charge back on my credit card, others should do the same. read more

Worst dating service in SD. Buyer Beware!!! Horrible business model. They give away free dating services, so the free members will sign up but then their is no obligation for those free members to show up. So, it deceives the paying customers that the RVSP list will have a high attendance. I asked for a refund because only 3 guys include myself and 1 girl showed up at my event on Saturday, Nov 7th, with over 20 RVSPs. Even though it was a dismal turnout they refused to provide a refund. They claim to be a service that connects young professionals, yet run their business extremely unprofessionally. They made $19 on me, but they will never see my business again and hopefully this review will keep others from making my mistake. Save your money and use a different service. read more

This was the most unorganized, confusing and ill planned event I've ever been to. 1. The organizer didn't attend the event. 2.Upon arrival the hostess had no idea of where we were going to be seated. 3. Myself and another guest were seated in the very loud multiple TV's sports bar. 3. Ivana got there around 6:30pm when the start time was 6pm. 4. We were then relocated to the opposite side of the restaurant. 5. This venue was like sitting in an convection oven-no AC. 6. Our one an only table could seat 8 people. 7. Two more women showed up around 7pm for a total of 3 women and 1 man. 8. Our group decided to attend the 8-10pm group in hopes of more people showing up. 9. There were people 2 women and maybe 5 men showed up for the second group. 8. I actually ended up introducing all of the attendees to each other. 9. I felt Ivana was not trained or prepared to be the event host. 10. She did the best she could given the circumstances. 11. The responsibility to train and prepare Ivana was that of the event organizer. 12. As "mix & mingle" singles event this had no plan to introduce people, the seating was a long farm style table, the background noise was too loud for talking and the cross table conversations were impossible. 13. I don't write reviews usually but the negative reviews here are so right! I attempted to join one of their online speed dating events but their website was down or experiencing major issues for the entirety of the event. At first when you'd logon you'd get a "the event has started, you're in the queue and will be connected with someone" message but that never happened even after waiting ~15 mins. Than it got worse and the website would just display an error saying their servers were overloaded. I tried to join the event for 30+ minutes and never was connected to anyone. I reported this to their support and it took them 2 hours to respond by which time of course the event was over and even than the only response was "try a different device". I never was able to join the event. They refuse to provide a refund despite this. It's only $19 so I'm willing to accept I learned a relatively cheap lesson about doing business with these folks but I believe at the very least they are wholly un-professional and are likely outright scamming people so buyer beware! read more
