Dr French wants to do the basic work and then go home and not think about his job or his patients. I kind of think he wants to not think about his patients when they're in the room too. I was terminated their services after disputing that they cannot take a copay if my out-of-pocket is met. Lisa, an office manager, argued with me that the copay does not apply to the OOP...which she is wrong. She stated that if the card shows a copay, it is always taken by their facility or services would not be given. I refused to pay it. She terminated my upcoming services with all of their facilities and did not notify me of the termination until 2 days later with certified mail. The termination is due to "inappropriate behavior", yet her stealing money from patients when nothing is due is not "inappropriate behavior"? NO, it is THEFT. When my Insurance Company contacted her to discuss this, she was confrontational with them and refused to listen to them explain how their contract works. I would be very careful of the amount of money they are currently holding "illegally" from patients in breach of their healthcare contracts. This will be fully investigated and I will file whatever is necessary to end this practice. I have chronic medical problems that need surgery and now I have been denied services (aka, possible malpractice). Additionally, they broke the law when one of their providers brought in a medical student to "shadow" a procedure. I was fully exposed on the table and was not asked in advance if I was okay with it. Another provider performed surgery on me and forgot to give me a pain block, causing severe pain for 3-4 days. BEWARE.
