If you need to purchase liquid or powder detergent, it's £1.50 (coins or card). There is an employee there if you need anything, she greeted me when I walked in and explained the pricing on the machines. They offer pressing services for an extra cost, but you might have to wait a day.

The owner is REALLY as good as everybody says. Super helpful! The cost for my self service load was 15-17 pounds total. Washing machines are a little small so one big load is actually two small or medium loads. The dryers are huge and will take both medium sized loads for only one dryer cycle. Lots of different food and drink choices on the same block of a charming London road...typical fish n chips pub, fancy coffee house, outdoor Italian place, Indian, Thai, etc. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. So if you want to save a bunch of money, OR--more importantly--if you want to get away from your family after a week of playing tourist...this is definitely your place. I went on a Wednesday early afternoon 1:30-3:00p, FYI.
