Always an awesome experience. Best place in the tristate to get any gaming supplies. Always my first choice when buying anything gaming.

My wife and I are tabletop gamers (primarily D&D) and we use a lot of minis. She also paints and sells minis. Anytime we travel, we look for gaming stores to pick up new minis, paints, and gaming material. We found The Gaming Guild on a road trip and were blown away by this place. The store is huge, clean, and laid out well. They have a vast selection of minis, source books (D&D, Pathfinder, Warhammer, etc.), board games, dice, card games (Pokémon, etc.), and gaming accessories. Their prices are also reasonable. The store offers a large playing area with nice tables and chairs, as well as one private room available for rent. They have a good selection of snacks and drinks for sale, and the restrooms are nice and clean. This is one of the best game shops we've found on our travels. If you're a gamer and are in this area, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You'll find some great things. read more

I was very happy to stumble across this hidden gem of a game store while visiting Evansville. I visited early on a Saturday and the first thing I noticed was several games going already going on, which is an awesome thing to see! The had an excellent board game selection and managed to grab a small box expansion for Arkham Horror 2e out of the clearance bind for under $10. It wasn't really what I was expecting. I wanted to buy some constructed decks, but they didn't have any. I did buy some singles and a dice. Staff seemed friendly enough; definitely knowledgeable about the pdoducts. Overall looked like a great place to play games. read more

Excellent locally-owned business that cares about its customers. I've been coming here for years for board games and primarily Magic: The Gathering and have never been disappointed. Every year MTG releases premium sets called From The Vault with foiled versions of past cards. And every year Gaming Guild sells them at MSRP while other stores jack up the price. Boosters are as cheap as you can find them. But the community and ownership is the main reason to come here. Terrible prices most expensive place for current products almost $6.00 for a booster everyone else sells for $3.50 to $4.oo and only 1 employee has ever been nice every time the rest always huffed and puff and act like they want you there and their prerelease events are always the same winners surprise their friends and relatives with better prerelease packs than everyone else so I guess It is what is but I won't be giving them another cent of my hard earned money I tried to ignore the rudeness for a very long time because like I said 1employee was always friendly and helpful so I wanted to help his business out but it's just getting worse so I'm afraid it's time to say goodbye to GG. This is absolutely the best place in town to find board games, buy, trade, and play Magic: The Gathering, or get down on some tabletop RPGs. The store is neatly organized and clean, the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about their products, and they'll special order all kinds of items to help you feed your nerdy addictions. Gaming Guild also has a monthly rewards program and tends to have great prices to begin with. There's regularly scheduled gaming events with enough table space (and comfortable chairs) to host them and a very active Facebook page. read more

Not the kind of people I want to buy from. During the Marvel Dice Masters shortage, they got a copy and marked it up 60%, even though full stock was on its way in less than a month. That's taking advantage of your loyal, local customers. Buy from Comic Quest instead. They would never do something like that. read more
