They have a large range of mats, frames, etc to choose from and are SO nice about sitting with me and helping me choose how to best bring out my picture/painting/whatever. I have very little color or design sense, but the folks who work at the framing department do-- they will help you make the most out of your items and do a great job putting it all together. I like this place just as much for their customer service as I do for the selections they've got. My husband and I have each gotten things framed here and I'm sure there will be more to come.

The renaissance fair was less than a month away and I hadn't yet prepared for my Landsknecht impression to join my brother and nephews for this annual event with family and friends. The event was just 17 days away and there was much to be done in order to make my impression a lasting one. I was concerned with the shipping time and noticed the recommendation listed on their website regarding the importance in reaching out to their support team to specify any time sensitivity on orders. Liz in customer service replied via email and also contacted me via phone to ensure that I received her detailed email. She had clearly itemized the articles of my order which would delay the shipping and offered multiple alternatives for my choosing. I found Liz to be a thoughtful, attentive, polite, well spoken individual and overall quite the friendly person to interact with. Upon reflection of this experience, I can clearly recognize that my sole reason for which compelled me to share my impression here are purely due to Liz and her handling of my concerns and the care she put forth in response. Medieval Collectibles is fortunate to have an employee such as Liz - who alone has proven to raise the perceived quality of a product in her keen, vigilant handling of the customer's concerns. By The Sword Inc listed a product on their site that they did not have in stock. I learned about…read morethis post-order via an email. After being informed of my options, I opted for a refund on my payment given that the item I ordered was a very specific item and the alternatives they did have would not work. They gave me a partial refund and refused to refund it in whole, by pointing at their policy of charging a fee on refunds. This is of course absurd given the fact that the refund was a result of their inability to only list the items they have in stock on their website. I tried to work this out with an email communication and they would not budge. It was a $3 difference that cost any and all future business from me and provided a poor review. I hope the $3 was worth it. I would not recommend working with them. EDIT: The owner, Lindy, hit me up in Yelp DMs to give me even more garbage and telling me to "Take the responsibility of my choice" in asking for the refund of the item for the item they didn't have in stock at the time of my order. She is unwilling to make any concessions on the errors of her business model at all and puts full blame on me. Atrocious customer service, worst I have seen in my online shopping experience. -100 / 10. She added icing to the cake by trying to insult me in Yelp DMs saying "You must be an only child and cannot be reason with", if you want to see it I added a screenshot. Stunning and brave. Left about a 4in string from the stitching that they said to "just cut off" I spent over 200 on this I expected it to be perfect! When I asked to return they declined giving me my full refund. Apparently if they send you the wrong item they make YOU pay return shipping plus to ship it back. So $45 bucks in shipping!? Wow. Do not I repeat do not do business here. They buy all their stuff from China anyways which isn't a problem but expected more from the price.
