I stopped in the Garland store over on Centerville and asked for an oil burner. There was a lady that helped me. She was about 5'7" slender build with short blonde wavy hair. Never got her name but I know she was the only person in the store. She told me my total and I paid her placing the money in her hand. She wrapped my package and sat it on the counter bypassing my outstretched hand to do so. Very disrespectful thing to do. When I asked her to put it in my hand she declined and went on to calling me a tweaker. This lady needs to be taught how to treat others. But she needs to be fired. And if I continue to see her there or any other gas pipe I will let it be known that that's how the whole company looks at it's customers. If this is the kind of treatment that your is ok with then I will no longer be a gp customer. read more

If you are looking to buy a new complete piece this is an ok place but if you're looking for anything special or specific to add to existing rigs/set ups they seem to never have that. Here is a great place to purchase any and all of your novelty gifts, lewd and crass greeting cards, giant sized Zeppelin or Pink Floyd posters (if you need them so), one of a kind T-shirts and of course... your tobacco-smoking accessories! Like most "novelty" gift shops (head shops!), this place is fairly comprehensive in it's inventory. What makes this place standout (for me) is the larger, spacious storefront that is usually clean fairly well organized. For Austinites who might be familiar with, "Planet K," you will find this place to be much less crammed, clumsy and uncomfortable to move around in as well as a friendlier, more attentive staff. 'Attentive' without being pests. You will also find that their prices always meet and many times compete with most other head shops in the area and in the State. While Pipe Dream on Greenville has a friendly staff, parking is usually a difficult effort or impossible. I've also found that they are frequently sold out or out of stock on specific items that I've ventured there for. The Gas Pipe has always carried or stocked about any item that I might be looking for. In short, I highly recommend The Gas Pipe when you are inclined to purchase items found only in a, "novelty" gift shop! read more

If only there was somewhere out there to satisfy my cravings for hookah smoking,counter culture t-shirts, and discs for frisbee golf I would be a very happy man! Wait such a place does exist-it is The Gas Pipe. I love this place. They are well stocked with hookah equipment and carry my favorite brand of shisha -Fantasia. They are the only place I can find in the metroplex that carries this brand. They also carry a great selection of t-shirts and posters. They carry an assortment of discs for golfing and have flyers that list locations of many local courses. The staff is always very pleasant and personable and more than willing to take the time to help you find exactly what you are looking for. The store itself is larger and more organized than many like themed stores. It has a great layout and its easy to find whatever you need. I would recommend stopping by on a Wednesday night-if you ask them to fire up a hookah to try a new shisha they will very happily do so. Maybe I'll see you there! read more

Went to the Marsh Ln location today to buy some shisha. Very limited selection and waaaay overpriced! $50 for a 250g tin of Starbuzz??? $30 for Fantasia 200g??? Are you freaking kidding me? I can order for less than half that price from hookah-shisha or socialsmoke! Maybe the guy was trying to upsell me because I don't look like your typical hookah smoker and thought I wouldn't know any different. I have no idea, but I definitely won't be buying shisha from this place. Also, I called before I went to see if they carried Mya hookahs and the idiot that answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about. I get there and they have several Myas. I'm talking at least 10 different styles. And if you know Myas, the name is printed all along their hoses, so it's very obvious what brand they are. If you're going to work in a smoke shop, at least have a clue about the manufacturers you carry! Kind of in a shady area too. Lots of dudes hanging around drinking at the out of business gas station on the corner, and this was on a Tuesday afternoon. I was a little afraid to leave my car parked there. read more

I'll keep this short. The Gas Pipe is great. Their staff is friendly and will take their time helping you look through their vast selection of pipes. I think the prices are a tad steep, but that's kind of the nature of the business. I took my friend here to get her a pipe and the sales lady talked and joked with us for 15 minutes. She was really nice. I'm really impressed with their lighters. They have a wide variety of different types of lighters, from Zippos, to really nice blowtorch lighters. Any time I try to buy a blowtorch lighter for my cigars, they always break and go to hell. The one the woman from Gas Pipe recommended has been great. Just add some fuel and it works like a charm. I came here once during the holidays and with any purchase they gave you a free gift. I ended up getting a free beer glass with the Gas Pipe logo on it for free. I thought that was a nice touch. The Gas Pipe is good for what they offer, keep in mind that over 50% of their business is selling synthetic marijuana which says alot. The price for everything is way way to expenisve but what they sell people is extremely addictive so people are willing to throw their money at it. The glass their is WAY TO EXPENSIVE basically the store is a facade to sell synthetic marijuana. People like to get high in the parking lot so the police are sooooo bad when you leave there. All in all it is what it is, if they did not sell an addictvie substance they would out of business, and they know that. The employees are nice enough, most of them anyways. There is s smug sense of entitlement on some of them. The dude with the two sleeve tatoos and long hair is just a rude bitch, supercilloius to say the least. read more

The problem with these stores is it's extremely overpriced. I'm new to vaping and purchased a Ascent Handheld Vaporizers - the price was $299 - total $324.99 - i went online to learn about it and THE ASCENT site is selling it for $199 (no tax) and free 2 day shipping, on another note the MSRP is $249 - so $50 dollars above the MSRP - I will never shop at a gas pipe again - Great people, but $129 to me is alot of money. I understand "profit margins" and like to support local shops but $129 is alot to pay for to have it THAT night - IF YOU ARE READING THIS support local shops but research when making a big purchase. read more

The staff was really nice and helpful, but the reason I'm giving it two stars is because their items are ridiculously overpriced, and they dont have a large selection of products, that is if you dont want to break the bank at least. I will never shop here again. I bought a glass water pipe at this location. The down stem broke less than 48 hours later. I returned to buy a new one, but the one they sold me was too long. Went back immediately, but they only shorter one (which is too short) they have is more money and they don't accept returns. On an item that has been in my possession for 20 minutes. The whole situation was very bait and switch because they left me no option but to upgrade or let them keep my money on an item I can't use or return. read more

I've been doing business with th Gas Pipe since its beginning in Dallas and for the most part have always been more than happy with the products and service, but recently two (2) things have been bothersome. (1) What should the customer do when the incense is old and will not burn and you have a no return policy?(2) Since I mostly use credit or debit cards and hardly ever carry cash, why do I have to show you my drivers license even though you've swiped my credit card and received an ok?
