Menifee United Church of Christ is lively, loving, and liberal church. My husband and I chose this church because it's a sincere and genuine place. Nobody wears a "church mask," you are truly welcome to come as you are with questions, with doubts, with a yearning for community. The sermons are thoughtful and inspiring. We love to sing and this church sings a lot! Every Sunday we share fellowship time with a fabulous potluck lunch. And Rev. Bill has a "Sermon Talk-Back" every Sunday. So if you have any questions or comments, you have time to talk with him face to face. We have great discussions at this time. There is a Bible study every Thursday morning and evening as well as book discussion groups. This is a small but growing church. We are in a 55 plus neighborhood so there are not many children but there are programs in place for little ones including Golden Rule School every Sunday at 12:30pm Sometimes it feels like American Christianity is about who belongs to the club and fits in and believes in all the "right" things.
