I called the store and explained that I wanted to return the shirts for size and if I included a Fed Ex return envelope would they exchange....without hesitation, they agreed. I was told to address the envelope to Rhonda. After receiving the shirts, Rhonda called me and explained that she could not replace the shirts exactly.... color and logo were different. I said that was fine, I was more concerned about size. Within two days, I received the right shirts. Customer Service was amazing......I am most grateful!

As the clerk was checking me out, I was putting the sweatshirt in a bag and I noticed the sweatshirt had a huge hole right in the front! I let the clerk know and she looked at me and said sorry, No refunds. I said you have got to be kidding me just give me the $10 back and cancel the transaction. She said it was against their policy. She did say I could exchange it, but it was the last sweatshirt like this so not really an option I wanted. I was told I could go talk to the manager over at Scrimshaw. She literally laughed at me! Neither location was willing to go in the back to check for another one like the one I had so I ended up exchanging for a sweatshirt I didn't even want!

My friend and I particularly enjoyed checking out their selection of scarves and winter hats with interchangeable pom poms. I was tempted by some jewelry cases but they seemed a little small- only housing a few rings- maybe good if you're traveling. Friendly staff. I'll definitely stop in next time I am in the area. Prices were fairly reasonable for the accessories and the clothes were a bit higher priced, although they do have a sale rack.

After the first time I went into her store when she was on Thames St, I started to follow her on Instagram. Sad when she closed on Thames St., I hoped she would relocate. And she did! Prices are on the high side so plan accordingly but I feel the quality and uniqueness is worth it. If you see something, regret not getting it, you can either go back or order it to be shipped right to you. While I throughly enjoy a niche market, products and support the message of this shop, it definitely has very strong messaging that some might not like. However, that's what I love about Newport! No one is afraid to stand on their beliefs and open a store with those beliefs front and center. I am definitely going to enjoy this establishment again! Especially on a nice warm summer day. The most important part is that my husband knows that I'm the kind of girl that needs flowers. I particularly want to commend them for their assistance in helping my hubby pick out the right mix of flowers and guiding him in a direction that both highlights the flowers he wanted while also balancing it with things he might not have thought of in a bouquet.
