Okay I'll admit it, I'm the kind of girl who needs to receive flowers. I don't think it's bad to admit this about myself because at least I know, right? The most important part is that my husband knows that I'm the kind of girl that needs flowers. It's not that I can't buy them for myself, the surprise of getting them gifted to me is definitely part of the fun. When we moved to Rhode Island, my hubby bought me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from this florist and they were quite lovely. Throughout our time here, we've had other events that were flower worthy and he keeps returning to this florist and every time the bouquets have been fresh, well put together, and stay vibrant and beautiful for quite a long time. Because I don't buy the bouquets myself, I don't know what the price is for them, however I can say that they are high quality. I always judge bouquets by how they are put together including if the ones that require water have little plastic vases on them and if the ends are trimmed or if the stems are well maintained. All the flowers from this store meet those standards. I particularly want to commend them for their assistance in helping my hubby pick out the right mix of flowers and guiding him in a direction that both highlights the flowers he wanted while also balancing it with things he might not have thought of in a bouquet. The location of the store is easy to access, right in downtown Newport across from the Newport post office. There's convenient on street parking as well as a small lot outside. I've driven by multiple times and noticed that they are pretty popular and for a good reason. I definitely recommend this florist for people looking for high quality floral arrangements for the people and events in their life that are important. read more

I needed to send flowers to a friend who was ill. They were wonderful on the phone, processed by order and said they would deliver in the afternoon. I got a call back saying that my friend wasn't at home and wouldn't be back until Monday. Turns out she was at a family members home so they could take care of her. They called my friend and told her that they would remake the flowers and deliver them when she returned so she could enjoy them. And they read her the card so she would know they were from me. I'm a big fan flower arrangements. It's not every girls favorite thing, but I love it. My husband sends me flowers from this business for many occasions. He says they work with his to chose a variety of flowers that are low allergen to me specifically and the ones I do and do not like. This is by far the best florist on the island and probably in the state. Should be able to stop right there but Yelp wants more to it than that. Staff is great. They go above and beyond every time. Flowers are fresh and only the best are used in the arraignments. Arraignments are always impressive. At funerals you always know their arraignments because they make others look pitiful.
