Great job replacing some windows that had condensation between the panes. We did have to call back on one repair that didn't seem to dissapate the condensation but we were a bit impatient waiting for it to clear up. This vendor set an appointment on January 12th for onsite job quote for Friday January 15th at somewhere between 830am and 1030am and I get a notification two hours prior that they can't make it. I had to take a day off from work which is not an easy task with current covid market conditions only to get stiffed and now I have to take another day off? Horrible experience for me from a customer service and follow up standpoint. I am sick and tired of waiting for their followup and leaving voicemails to call me back. Asked for a an estimate for 2 window replacement plus conversion of existing window to a 67" by 94" French Door. Jay came to do as estimate on a Friday 8/3 and gave me an estimate for $ 5300 but said he will finalize that Monday since he will be contacting a couple of vendors for the actual quote plus a picture of the actual door / window prior to me signing the official contract and deposit. He knew I was in a rush to do this and I never heard back from them until I kept following up that Tue since I never heard back from him again. I proactively called to see what is the status and he said that the faster option by week was +700 bucks so I decided to just wait an extra week to save on this cost. He said he will email it to me that evening ( Tue) but the week ended without any email or final estimate. Then the week after, my wife called again to follow up and spoke to a Carl and explained the situation that we are still waiting. He emailed a quote for $ 6000 which is not what I indicated to Jay a week prior. Again crickets. I left another voicemail this week to call me back so this can be corrected but again nobody has gotten back to me at all. Absolutely horrible customer service and I shudder to think what would've happened had I made a deposit only to find out they will avoid my follow-up calls. Inexcusable. I will also write to Glass Guru corporate since I believe this is a franchise only. Buyer Beware !!! They are other window/glass/door installation and replacement companies out there, do your diligence and avoid giving your business to those who will just blow you off. read more
