He explained that Hometime offers a lifetime warranty on both the windows and installation for as long as you own the home. He also brought product samples, which helped me better understand what I was purchasing. Hometime came in lower than all of the other quotes I received. The proposal was professionally prepared and included all of the information Caleb had discussed during our meeting, making it easy to review afterward. Whenever I had questions, Caleb responded within a reasonable timeframe during business hours. Scheduling was simple and straightforward. Their scheduling system sent reminders about my appointment and clearly communicated what to expect. The turnaround time from order to installation was approximately six weeks. On installation day, a crew of three arrived. They all introduced themselves and were very respectful. I joked that they would have some "watchers"--my three kids--who had plenty of questions throughout the day. The installers were professional, efficient, and took care to protect our floors and respect our home. They thoroughly cleaned up after the job was completed. We did have one hiccup during the process. One of the windows was manufactured incorrectly. However, Hometime handled the issue well and was able to get me back on the schedule as soon as I was available a couple of weeks later. Jesse and his partner came out for the replacement installation. Just like the original crew, they introduced themselves, were respectful of our home, and worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job. While manufacturing issues can happen, I appreciated how smoothly Hometime addressed the problem and followed through to make it right. The windows look fantastic. From what I can see, they were installed properly and have significantly improved the appearance of our home. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with Hometime Windows and Doors. High marks for this business! I walked into the Hometime showroom in Murrietta, a comfortable and well organized establishment, to meet with Kaleb this past January 2026. After a productive consultation for an entry door, we made an on-site appointment at my home in the Temecula wine valley. I felt that I was respectfully guided towards appropriate products and that my questions were heard and answered. I made some preliminary decisions and soon received a clear and itemized quote after a Hometime contactor came out to verify measurements. I took time to weigh my choice, call Kaleb and amend the order slightly, then placed my order in February. I appreciated the "no pressure" approach, yet confident guidance. As of yesterday and before the end of March, our door has been expertly installed by Rob (Robert) who showed up on time and worked efficiently. He reviewed our order, explained the installation process and was extremely detail oriented from beginning to end. He's personable and definitely an expert in his craft! He got right to the removal of the old frame & door and was methodical in his approach to framing out the new one. Hanging a door correctly with all the new hardware and a keyless entry unit is an art and each step was done with care and expertise. Buyer beware! We had them come to the house to measure and provide a quote. We selected style and colors and indeed was provided a quote (almost $5k). Never were we told that the quote might change. So we provided a $1500 deposit. Days later they sent out their installer to obtain final measurements. Based on his new measurements we were provided an updated quote for several hundred dollars more. Original measurement/sales person admitted he had made a mistake. After consulting with his management team, they would not honor the original quote. VERY DISAPPOINTED. You would think a 5 star business would stand by quotes and consider the mistake as a learning opportunity for the original technician. As for the original contact person, he was very pleasant, courteous, and professional. He was very apologetic for his mistake and not being able to honor the original quote.
