They are the only independent company local to Berlin, MD, that I found that expertly installs (by their own installers) framed doors. Alumax framed doors are solid, sturdy, and don't rattle against each other like semi-frameless. Company is responsive and informative, from initial contact with multiple product inquiries, to the estimator to the installers. They are tucked away behind a grove of trees and you barely notice the "Charles Brown Glass Co." sign by the road. However, having prior experience getting a shower door from a glass company for another bathroom years ago, and no luck finding any "shower door company" that installs framed doors (to replace the new semi-frameless doors that I bought which I quickly found out do NOT contain water), I checked out Brown's website - SO glad that I did. He was to send me information on this system, but never received. A week later I stopped by their showroom, and a very standoffish older woman was abrupt and said she would have him call me without even taking my phone number or name.
