Coffee: poor flat white, as is the case in 99% of cafes, pubs and restaurants in the UK; espresso [on the second visit], not too bad.

The front of house was excellent with them providing as much information as possible, backed up by the kitchen to the point of changing dishes to suit. If you are in the position of dealing with dietary requirements you'll know how difficult it can be and the White Hart score 10 for 10 for effort and results. Sure they made sure we were tucked around the corner a bit but the girls didn't mind and all loved the food! If that isn't enough to tempt you then how about the fact that Clyst Hydon itself has it's very own lido just round the corner from the pub? Just check the Google map and you'll see it just next door. All in all this place is a gem. A little hard to find perhaps but if you can find it, then you deserve it. P.S.
