As a teacher myself, I appreciate the emphasis they put on education, as he has learned more than I could have ever imagined. The entire staff is constantly going above and beyond each and every week to make learning a BLAST. It is super apparent that creating a fun learning environment is a high priority. A few other things to note is their top notch communication efforts. We are always in the know about every thing! As well as the diversity, which can be hard to find in this area. I love that my son gets to celebrate our traditions while also learning about cultures different than his. Lastly, my son is HIGH ENERGY and can be a lot at times. I was required to…read morepay a deposit fee plus an entire month's tuition up front to secure my spot ($1700 total). 24 hours later I received a message from the school I was on a waitlist for that a 5 day spot was now available, which is what we really needed. I explained to Goddard management that the other school was 5 min from my house, less expensive, and most importantly had a 5 day spot available. I asked if I could at least get some of my money back given the circumstances. They refused to give me back ANY of the $1700 deposit despite the fact that they only had it for less than 48 business hours. My child never even visited the school. They claimed that I could have taken a spot from someone else. I paid them Thursday afternoon and informed them Monday morning about my change of plans. If someone visited Friday who wanted that spot, am I really supposed to believe they couldn't have contacted them immediately on Monday to let them know about an opening? I reached out again and was told they never filled the spot. So if you couldn't fill that spot anyway, why couldn't I get even half of my money back? It's not like we took someone else's spot (according to them anyway). The school we ended up joining didn't require any deposit to secure my spot, and the owner purposely enrolls less students than the GA requirement to provide a better and more nurturing environment. My son has about 13 kids in his class vs. the 20+ children in the Goddard class. It's clear that the owner is all about money and posting on social media. I am so happy we found a better place for my child.

The activities that they do in their classrooms are incredible - they get to participate in Chinese, Spanish, Art and gym classes. The Director, Assistant Director and all of the teachers are very professional, and they genuinely care for every student that walks through their doors. When the boys wake up on the weekends and become disappointed that they are not going to school, it provides us with such peace of mind knowing that they love their teachers, friends and the overall learning experience that Cadence provides. As parents, we really appreciate the communication and transparency. The teachers are the best of the best. Most of them have been there decades and they truly love the kids. We love Ms. Monica and Ms. Maria, they treat the kids like their own. It really feels like a family. I cannot rave about them enough. They also send daily updates on the activities, what they ate, and pictures throughout the day. The foundation like to focus especially in underserved neighborhoods by providing free laundry days for the parents and have some volunteers read to the kids while the parents are doing their clothes. Its a win win! We came by a while back to collect the books and were so impressed by the amount of books donated. Not only that the quality of the books were unbelievable. There weren't cheapy books that you get at the dollar store. No there were high quality books for children from infants to about 8-10 years old. Wow, really touched by that.
