There is something very special about NPCC…read more You can feel the presence of the Divine there. I am new to Atlanta, so visit as many as 3 church services every Sunday searching for Divine inspiration & wonderful fellow Christians (THE ONE AND ONLY RELIGION STARTED BY A PROVEN GOD!). Keep feeling myself drawn back to 3 churches, including NPCC. NPCC is unique for having a very dynamic, sincere and magnetic pastor, brilliant sermons, excellent music, a big Auditorium that is very full with lots of beautiful happy adults of all ages in the audience, even more beautiful and happy children in fun rooms with wonderful leaders built around the massive Auditorium. And a sense of the Divine in almost every child & adult I observed & had contact with. Excellent, friendly outside crew efficiently directing you to open parking spaces when arriving & safe exits following the service. (This is more unusual than a great leader). During the last 8 months, I have lived in 4 States from Wyoming (my home) to Atlanta where I luckily own some nice houses. And I will be returning here often. I have not missed at least one church service (sometimes several) every Sunday since - God spoke to me twice - in a very normal male voice that just sounded like a 40 year old friend (I think He recognized His personal intervention was the ONLY way I would have any hope of living with Him in Heaven (wherever that is...)! Until then, I may have attended a church service 3-10 times a year for Easter, Christmas... (I had His invisible presence on an invisible horse riding next to me as I grew up on huge ranches. So why did I need to attend a church?). Now I know. And when I did attend, I was driven to select special churches with good people and great Pastors/Priests! North Point is one of THE VERY BEST I have ever experienced! Attending events there, joining with good people and being inspired by Godly leadership is memorable & life changing!

A few years ago, this was the most inspirational Holy Spirit moving church in the area. Then they got a new pastor and the first Sunday he was there he put a tacky blue light on the choir, trying to make it look more modern, hip, I guess :( and he did away with the separate beautiful candle mounts in the front and just put two candles on a table. I can't tell you how much those changes took away from the holy traditional feel and experience. Obviously we go to church to hear God's word. And God's word is preached, even though the last pastor was better. But, the fact that he put a blue light over the choir, trying to make it look more like a stage instead of a holy church choir, and took away from the beautiful candle mounts and just put them on the table in the front and made them stop wearing robes took away from the ambience. It felt like such a beautiful holy place before. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit walking in there and seeing the beautiful ceremony and the choir and the candles and now it's just like any church trying to fit in with the public, by making it a stage and too casual, not as reverent. It immediately completely ruined the feel experience. The kids have their own service so they should be the one to keep the blue lights and the casualness. In the sanctuary for the traditional service, you should've kept wearing the robes kept the kids wearing the robes, kept the candle mounts and turned off that horrid tacky like blue light, it ruined it.

Staff at St. Aiden's made my child's first day of preschool a living nightmare…read more Upon picking my child up from his first day of school he informed me that another child had hit him. I approached his teacher, Ms. Patty, and asked to speak with her in regards to this matter. Once I told Ms. Patty what my son had told me she instantly became very defensive. She immediately came to the other child's defense and straight out accused my son of lying. I asked her how they handle altercations between children and her response was "typically we would speak to both students and their parents BUT it didn't happen." After several minutes of being accused of lying I decided to leave with my son. Not only did this upset my son but it also tainted the image I had portrayed of how teachers are supposed to be. Supportive, friendly and trustworthy. Our experience with Ms. Patty was none of the above. To make matters worse, minutes after leaving the facility I received an extremely aggressive email from the director, Julie. She did not ask me any questions about the conversation that took place. Instead, she came to Ms. Patty's defense and threatened to kick my son out. Given the experience we had on our son's first day, my husband and I agreed we were not comfortable leaving our son in their care. Leaving us no choice, we removed our son from this preschool. We let the director know our decision and requested a full refund. We were only given a PARTIAL refund and were still charged fees. Nothing was explained to us and no further contact was made by the school. I made the mistake of assuming this preschool was a warm, inviting environment due to it being linked to a church. I was sadly mistaken. Patty was extremely bias and made my child feel embarrassed, unheard and unworthy. Julie, the director, turned around and did the same to me.

She loves going to school everyday and a huge part of that is the environment that St. Aidans fosters. Their curriculum has always been exactly what she needed and her teachers have always been able to challenge her academically and encourage her imagination and creativity as well. The class sizes are just right so that she is provided with personalized instruction as well as lots of friends to play with! St. Aidans has been such a blessing to us these last three years! We absolutely love it.
