The Goddard School in Lake Forest is a great school! Everything is brand new, the school is very clean and provides a great atmosphere for learning. Parina, the staff and the teachers are all very loving and provide a great environment for the children be a part of. Our son attended the school when it first opened as part of the Crawly Caterpillars Classroom. He bonded with the teachers in his room immediately, which made his transition to the school very easy. This school has been fantastic for our daughter. The teachers truly love what they do and love the children. My daughter would sometimes ask for her teacher on weekends! That's how great of a bond the teachers form with the children here. They have a great teaching structure which exposes the kids to a lot of new experiences that teach them to be ready for formal schooling later on. Also important is that the management team is passionate about what they do. This is by far and away the best school in Lake Forest and I'd even go so far as to say that families in nearby Irvine should add Goddard to their list for consideration. read more

My husband and I love the Goddard School. Our daughter is 19months old now and we started with the school when our little one was 6months old in the infant classroom. There is a curriculum and schedule they follow and the teachers seem to adore all the children. Even the teachers from other classrooms know my child. And my daughter loves being at school and loves her teachers and little friends! You can tell how much Ms. Parina, the owner, loves all the children. The office staff, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Julie always greet us with a smile and are super helpful. When the school first opened, the first couple months they were rapidly trying to hire teachers and there was a bit of turnover, but they've managed to find some fantastic teachers with great experience and heart. I realize that as a new organization there are going to be growing pains, but they appear to be out of their depth. Preschool is a lot more than the academics. PS - The response claims I am not a parent. I never said I was. I am a grandparent who visited the school, whose wife visited the school many times to accompany our grand daughter, and whose son and daughter-in-law also visited the school many times and stayed to watch what was going on with my grand children. They took her out of the school after a month. Instead of attacking me the school might be more interested in our assessment. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this school. Our 3 year old has attended this school since it opened. Parina, the owner, is wonderful, very collaborative and easy to work with. Our experience at the Goddard School in Lake Forest has been excellent. The owner, directors and teachers are alway helpful and they go above and beyond to help my daughter and family each day. I love the facility. Everything is brand new and super clean. The playground is huge and includes a basket ball court, lots of grass and a state of the art play structure. Parent communication is very important to me and my family. The Goddard school has made communication easy and electronic. I recieve an email each day with photos and a daily update. We moved to the area in Nov 2016 and I had to change my son's school to be closer to home. First I tried another school in the area and only lasted 2 weeks. I was really worried that I make the wrong choice again. Luckily this time I did it right. I am truly happy with Goddard. Reasons: 1- Number of staffs. Everywhere you look you see a friendly teacher/staff in green shirt. 2- Everyone is so loving and caring from Mrs. Parina (owner) to Julie, Jennifer, Ashley ....teachers and aids. They are involved with the kids and their parents. 3- I love their reporting system. We get daily reporting of what they did in the class. My son is in Pre-k and Ms Kiyoko and Ms Rose are great teachers. He loves going to school. 4- Clean, new building with nice size play area. 5- They have the option of enrolling kids in extra classes like soccer.. 6- I have not seen any turn over here and that is a very positive thing for kids and parents. My four year old has attended Goddard for 9 months and we love it! I had enrolled her in Montessori Great Foundations previously and had a horrible experience. After researching several schools, and pulling my daughter out of Great Foundations Montessori at Woodbury after only 3 days and being on the waitlist for 3 years, I chose Goddard. You may inbox me if you're curious or thinking of putting your kid at that school and I will share with you my experience. The staff at Goddard was in constant communication with me regarding my daughter after she was traumatized at the other school. They were patient with me as my daughter transitioned and gave her one on one attention. Ms. Maryam has been especially amazing and patient with my daughter. Their staff and teachers are loving, caring, and attentive to their students. I have witnessed the staff treat the children as if they were their own. The children treat the staff as family, greeting them with hugs and pats. I am very happy with the progression. There is very little turnover and the teachers and staff are qualified and professional. The staff upfront greet the children and parents with constant smiles. I drive 20 minutes every day to get to this school. But, I would not have it any other way as it is soo worth it. The owner Ms. Parina is hands on and truly actively participates in bettering the school and is responsive to the parents. I am so blessed and grateful to have found this school. read more

My son attended Goddard for 1 year and 3 months. We moved to Orange County, Ca. when my son was 3 years 6 months.He graduated from Goddard when he turned 5. In such a short period of time, he was able to build confidence and his personality improved. Thanks to incredible Goddard Staff and their constant input in improving my son's personality. When he graduated from Goddard Preschool, he was ready for Kindergarten. Not only he was confident, he had basic writing and reading skills. We like Goddard philosophy and weekly activities related to STEM. Teachers put in efforts for extra curricular activities. Their is something going on every week. Teachers are great, School is Super clean (They literally wipe every furniture every evening, I have seen it happening), Extra spacious rooms, Super clean bathrooms for kids( and they are attached to each classroom). The owner takes time to run this school at it's best and I have seen directors holding little babies in the baby room feeding them or keeping them calm when they are in bad mood. No other school in the area can beat them. Best of luck to them and I wish they keep continuing the good work. read more

So far our experience has been great! The owner, director and teachers make us feel very special and really try to help in the adjusting period of our daughters. They are having a bit of a separation anxiety and everyone at Goddard School is being so understanding and really helpful. And I am noticing that every day my kids feel more and more excited to go there. Sometimes my older daughter doesn't want to leave. I am also very excited for my kids to learn their curriculum and make new friends. We have attended the Goddard School since it opened in 2016. My son and daughter have been in a variety of classes as they age up to the next. My children love this school. My son really struggled at his previous school, literally cried every day for a year at drop off. A special shout out to Ms. Maryam, Ms. Paulina, and Ms. Cat. My son loves coming to see y'all and it is evident you truly love and care about him. Also want to acknowledge Ms. Zainab and Ms. Yue Quan... amazing with the older kids! Great way of teaching them discipline while showing them love and care. I highly recommend this school! Let me start by saying this School and their staff is just amazing. My husband and I searched for a daycare for our daughter for quite a while and were so relieved when we finally stepped foot into The Goddard School in Lake Forest. Every other place I visited with my big pregnant belly on my hunt to find a suitable daycare for my daughter seemed like a never ending line of people who didn't really seem to care - it was like pulling teeth to get any information from anyone at these places. I was starting to dread leaving my child at any of these places when I was going to have to return to work. But...enough about my struggle to find a suitable daycare because the day my neighbor recommended The Goddard School in Lake Forest, I literally drove there the same day to check it out. I walked in without an appointment and was instantly greeted by Julie (Assistant Director). Julie was so incredibly friendly & welcoming. I think she answered most of my questions before I even asked them and gave me a tour of the school while explaining the Goddard Philosophy (PLAY based learning focused on STEAM). I even met and talked with the owner (Parina) while I was there on my very first visit. I watched in awe as every child & parent that came through (in or out) was greeted by name and the kids were SO excited to interact with the staff and just seemed so happy in the school's environment. I was impressed that Parina (as an owner) was so involved and knew all of the kids & their parents. I knew this was the type of environment we wanted our family to be a part of (not just my daughter...but our family). Within 2 days, we put our hold on a spot for our daughter to start in the infant room at around 4 months old. We went to an Orientation meeting a few weeks before she was scheduled to start and Jennifer (the Director) walked us through everything we needed to know, introduced us to the teachers in the infant room and very much welcomed us into the Goddard Family. We also sat and talked with Parina that day and we seriously felt like we hit the jackpot by the time we left. Fast forward to our daughters first day. The teachers in the infant room are A-MAZ-ING! They are great with the kids, awesome communicators & very welcoming. The school uses the 'preschool2me' program so we get daily reports about the activities they do with the kids each day as well as a record of your child's meals, naps & diapers. As a first time parent, this has helped me keep track of things and I really appreciate the reports. It is great to be able to know what she is doing all day - it really encourages family involvement & being able to work on the same things at home. I also receive pictures from the teachers through the program and I LOVE to see those when I am missing her. My daughter absolutely LOVES the teachers & assistants in her classroom. She lights up when she sees them! She barely cried when I left her there each day the first week and now, she practically jumps out of my arms in the mornings...she is on a mission to begin her day of play with these fun folks she gets to spend the day with. She is 7.5 months now. The only thing that makes me a little sad is that I know she will be moving up to the next room eventually and we will miss the teachers & assistants in the infant room!! Shout out to Ms. Beth, Ms. Amy & Ms. Shannon - my daughter's favorites!! I am confident the teachers in the next room will be just as amazing but I will miss the daily interaction I get to have with the infant room staff. I have been continually impressed with every aspect of this school and the amazing staff - you can tell they all have great passion for what they are doing. I would highly recommend The Goddard School in Lake Forest to anyone looking for a fun, loving, enriching environment for their kiddos. Ms. Parina Mehta, Owner and Operator, of the Goddard School in Lake Forest is very dedicated and passionate in all she does. Her # 1 priority is making sure your child and or children are safe and happy. All the teachers are very nice. The school opened at the end of July 2016 so it is brand new, which is an awesome perk to enroll your kid in a place that was recently built from the ground up. All the equipment is good quality...the outdoor playground is shaded. The school provides a daily electronic report, which recaps the activities of the day, which i enjoy reading ( along with an occasional photo if teacher is lucky enough to get your little one in action). I would recommend the Goddard School in Lake Forest. The owner and operator is very involved, which is important. She knows what is going on in all aspects of her school. Its also worth mentioning the two Directors...Sara and Julie, who are fabulous. They both have a daughter who attends Goodard as well. They are not only moms, but efficient at operating the front office--tremendous asset to The Goddard School. read more

This is simply a great school. My son sometimes doesn't want come home, that behavior itself speaks how nice the school and environment is. Now that our time at the Goddard school is about to come to an end (we are moving to another city), I thought it would be appropriate to write them a review and give my honest thoughts about this school. My 2 year old daughter was one of the first children to attend this school when it opened in August of 2016. The school itself is very clean and modern and they invest a lot into the materials and facilities. The owner Parina is there almost all the time and you can tell she loves kids! Our other experience before Goddard was the JCC in Newport/Irvine and I am so glad we switched. A couple things I noticed comparing these two schools: 1. Everyone at Goddard knows my daughters name, including the entire office staff and teachers that don't teach her. 2. She has never come home with injuries. They really watch the kids very closely here and the student/teacher is lower than most I've seen. 3. They do a lot of art projects (messy ones) and I can actually tell SHE did them and not the teacher. 4. They are very accommodating to needs of the children. My daughter has a hard time sleeping if she sees other ppl. and my husband went to get her one day and it was still naptime and they had a barricade around her of bookshelves :) 5. Her teachers Ms. Gaby and Ms Yuequan really LOVE children and it clearly shows. I think the only thing I would change would be the outside catering service they use for lunch. While it is nice that they even offer one, I find most of the foods on there to be for older children. Overall, we have really enjoyed our time at Goddard and will always look back with fond memories. read more
