Granted this was during COVID but none of the other schools had such a high turnover. It was also messy, disorganized and their communication was horrible. I think could have lived with all that. However, my 3 year old came home with a black eye one day. She told me that "Ms Yin Li kicked her in the face with her foot because she was angry that she would not fall asleep during nap time". When I called the school the next day to ask what happened, the principal, owner and other staff, tried to give me 100 theories as to what could have happened to her (she must have bumped herself against the cot, she probably hit herself against the bench because kids fight for the red bench, it happened outside of school, etc) instead of focusing on what my child was saying. I tried to have the school press charges against Yin Li, but she had already also resigned and they told me it was "too late" (maybe 5 weeks had passed since the incident) so I decided to file a complaint with the state (which came back inconclusive but at least I reported and recorded the incident). Please don't send your kids to this place, there are other much better schools in the area. The sign up process was fine, though they only accept direct withdrawals from a bank account which is kinda disappointing but hence the drop in star but the staff all seemed to be very friendly and they accomodate adults, children groups of people with disabliities as well as seniors looking to play 'pickle ball'. It brought back memories coming here and I'm glad its still around, serving the area all these servoces that a lot of other places would either be higher or wouldn't offer all under the same roof.

The staff is friendly and they maintain the facilities cleanly and diligently. There are very restricted times and days you are able to come in for laps or shooting hoops so if you think you will sign up and go there as you please, that is unfortunately not the case.. While the basketball court area is nice and the pool is warm, the gym is pretty small and very congested. The lifting area is always dominated by males and you generally have to wait to use a lot of the popular machines. Collectively with the discount my boyfriend and I spend around $70 a month in the beginning of each month. Here is some important news, if you are looking to cancel your membership be sure to give them a full 30 days notice cause they is no such thing as a "cancellation fee" which I found to be really odd.

Our child was incredibly blessed to have incredible teachers who loved and cared for our child during that time. Each classroom was truly filled with love and patience and I do not want the rest of this review to underscore those incredible teachers in my child's classrooms. With that said, As our child approached the age of 3, they received an autism diagnosis. The JCC metro west staff was notified of this diagnosis. 2 weeks after informing the staff of our child's diagnosis, our child was exited from the ECC program with less than 24 hours' notice. Regardless of the circumstances, giving a family less than a day's notice to find alternative childcare is incredibly disruptive and, in our experience, showed a lack of compassion and partnership. As parents, we trusted this program to work with us through challenges. Instead, we were left scrambling overnight to figure out childcare, work obligations, and next steps for our child. The emotional and logistical impact on our family was significant. What disappointed us most was not simply the decision itself, but how it was handled. Families deserve clear communication, transparency, and enough notice to make arrangements--especially when young children are involved. If your child has developmental differences or may require additional support, I encourage you to have detailed conversations about the program's ability and willingness to accommodate those needs before enrolling. Our experience left us feeling unsupported during one of the most difficult periods our family has faced. I hope the JCC reviews its policies and communication practices so that no other family experiences the same abrupt transition that we did.

The Magnatiles are helpfully sorted by color and shape in wooden bins. Kids can complete builds and challenges, and collect tokens to trade in for prizes. There were some pretty impressive structures in progress there. In addition to the main Magnatiles room, there is also a separate playroom with different activity stations and play/exploration areas, suited to younger kids. The recommended age range is 4-12, but my under-3 toddler had a great time as we play with Magnatiles at home and he loves them. He also spent some time in the playroom with the wooden train tracks and checking out various things to do. The admission charge for adults is slightly cheaper than the child pricing. A couple of parents - way more skilled and inventive than I - were building some pretty grand castles and towers as they waited while their kids played. The space is bright and clean, and the staff are very nice. For parents who don't wish to be "in the trenches" with their kids, there is a small cafe area with chairs and tables where they can hang out.

Please use caution if you're considering their van transportation service…read more Our experience with the transportation service was extremely concerning. On one occasion, the driver never picked up my child from school, and we were never notified. We believed our child had been transported to Centercourt as usual. Near the end of the day, the school called to tell us that our child was still there, alone, because no one had come to pick them up. As parents, not knowing where your child is for hours is terrifying. I had to leave work immediately to pick up my child. In any emergency, accurate knowledge of a child's location is critical, and this incident demonstrated a serious breakdown in communication and accountability. Unfortunately, Centercourt did nothing to make up for this. We also experienced another incident where the transportation van broke down, causing the children to arrive over an hour late. Based on our experience, I also had concerns that some drivers were difficult to communicate with because they spoke little or no English, which made it harder to address transportation issues when they arose. If you are considering relying on their van service to transport your children, I encourage you to ask detailed questions about their driver screening process, communication procedures, backup plans, and how parents are notified if something goes wrong. Our experience left us feeling that these safeguards were not adequate.

A lot of couples I noticed come and have a picnic here which was such a cute idea for future visits if in the area again.
