As a new mom, I greatly appreciate the human connection that all of the caregivers provide. Every day I am greeted with a smile and asked about how my daughter's night was. Beyond that, the caregivers are always happy to give me advice and support after a long night or fussy morning. I am thoroughly satisfied with her infant care, and am even more excited for her to progress through the childcare program. The layout of the building allows me a glimpse into the other early childhood classrooms, and I am constantly amazed by the variety of activities and teaching methods that I see on a daily basis. I also love that the program is part of 2nd Nature Academy. While we certainly don't want to rush our daughter's early childhood experience, we look forward to her continued education for many years to come.

I was a nervous new mother so I thought I was being critical of the lack of warmth from caregivers and staff. Aside from Carol who greets you upon entry there was no comfort in leaving your child there. I questioned myself thinking I was protective and went along with it. Over time it didn't change. I came one day to pick my child up early to find a substitute teaching acting extremely inappropriate with the children scolding them In a way that felt like she was losing control. Other staff members appeared embarrassed when I witnessed it. When speaking with the director I was reassured she wouldn't work with the younger kids anymore because " it overwhelmed her " I quickly learn from that point on it wasn't the right place for my child. I think they paint a pretty picture of what they offer but within the walls of the preschool is quite different. Their expectations are extremely high for toddlers and pre k and sadly lack the nurturing piece. I found the staff to be young with a lot of turnover. I found the director Jillian to be young, naive and lacking real life experience to be in her role. Be careful of the pretty picture it presents. I am so sad that I didn't go with my gut on day one... a new mother novice decision. Luckily my child has no memory and I have found a place that is nurturing with experienced staff.

It is hard to put into words how much the years they spent there have meant to our family. When I was looking at preschools for my oldest daughter, I had very high standards. I wanted to be sure that my daughter was with someone who would not only teach her colors and ABCs, but care about her, keep her safe, empower her, and make her feel loved in the time she was away from me. The teachers and staff at The Children's Winter Garden do all of that, and it comes straight from the heart. I feel lucky to have had two children pass through their program, and now my third is following in her sisters' footsteps. I am so excited to be taking this journey once again.

Teachers and staff are attentive and caring, and there is a perfect balance of focus on academic and social growth. My younger kids look forward to going to NCLC every day, and my older kids wish they could still go. During COVID, the center adapted quickly and opened up as soon as they were allowed to, with new processes in place that kept teachers and students as safe as possible. Contrary to an earlier review, families were not charged while the center was shut down.

During the winter volleyball season we get to go to many venues all over New England for volleyball…read moretournaments and on the positive side Nashua Sports Academy is one of the nicest looking venues. The building is new and well maintained. The sightlines are very good. However, as far as treating their guests with respect Nashua Sports Academy is a total failure. This weekend they hosted teams from all over New England many who traveled two to four hours. I totally understand not allowing people into set up chairs until the official start time but not allowing people in to use the rest rooms after waking up before first light and driving several hours is almost criminal. To top it off the staff was very rude while going about it. They made people stand outside as it began to rain. They do not allow people to bring in outside food which is not unheard of at higher end venues but on a prior visit by my daughter's team I was told they had staff going round and making people take things outside including water for the players. This time this did not happen. You expect if they are not going to allow outside food they will have a selection of food available, they had hot dogs, cold popcorn, and a small selection of pre-packaged foods. Another, thing I found interesting was other than the volleyball there was nothing else going on. We went Sportszone Indoor Sports in Derry. NH this winter. This another venue which was also a multi-sport facility and there were many other things going on through the day flag football, soccer, basketball, and a children's hitting clinic. There was none of this going on at NSA.
