I purchased arch supports from the Good Feet Store in January 2026. I waited five months to write this review because I wanted to give the supports enough time to improve my condition before sharing my experience. I've dealt with foot pain at different times throughout my life. Years of running, combined with walking barefoot around the house and not properly caring for my feet, eventually caught up with me. About twenty years ago, I developed severe plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma. At that time, I saw a podiatrist, was fitted for custom orthotics, and replaced many of my shoes. After that, I had years without significant problems. Unfortunately, I slipped back into old habits, especially walking barefoot at home, while also taking daily 4-5 mile walks. By the end of last year, my foot pain had returned. I will say this: the Good Feet Store has very effective marketing. Their commercials make it seem like you can walk in, purchase arch supports, and quickly solve your foot problems. To be fair, the in-store sales staff did explain that improvement can take weeks or even months. However, the major downside is that there are no refunds, and the support systems are extremely expensive. The sales experience reminded me of a timeshare presentation. When you are in pain, you are willing to try almost anything. I ended up spending approximately $2,300 on several different supports because I wanted to fully follow their recommendations. I followed the instructions carefully, but after about six weeks, I saw little improvement. I returned for another fitting, and one of the supports was exchanged for a different type. Now, five months later, my feet still do not feel better. Walking remains painful, and during long walks the supports often feel like I'm walking on rocks. At this point, I do not believe it is simply a fitting issue. In my opinion, these are overpriced, off-the-shelf supports that may help some people, but they did not work for me. Looking back, I believe I should have found a new podiatrist after mine retired and invested in new custom orthotics instead. That is the route I plan to take now. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing arch supports from the Good Feet Store. In my opinion, seeing a podiatrist and getting professionally made custom orthotics is both more effective and ultimately less expensive. read more

For the last 14 months I have been experiencing various exercising-induced pain .. started with my heel, which caused me to change the way walk and stand, which in turn caused me to hurt my ankle and knee over time from exercising. At my first physical therapy appointment, the doc whipped out a shoe insert and he said they're a blessing and referred me to the good feet store. On my visit today, which does take some time (don't expect to be in and out), it was very busy! I was surprised to come in the middle of the day and see so many people. It gave me a good feeling about the store (and yes there were adults of all ages). They carry plenty of shoes, but I personally needed inserts. First, they evaluate your issues (what brought you in). Second, they have you make a stamp of both feet to point out areas of lots of pressure. Then they will measure your feet. Then they bring out the inserts. The inserts are a three step system. I won't get into the full details, but basically one is what you start your day with, one is for exercise, and one is for the end of the day when you're kind of relaxing. I could say I really felt a difference, but I don't think you can really tell until you're using them regularly in my opinion.. although they do let you walk with them in the store and one of the shoe inserts felt great and really took a lot of pressure off! You can wear them in almost any shoe, even heels and sandals they say. Towards the end of my appointment (they do take walk-ins but I had an appointment), a customer came in and raved about the inserts. He said he has had them for 17 years and they fixed all type of pain he had from a snow mobile accident. He said this is the first time he has had to come back in since he bought them, and admitted he was slacking from the system you are supposed to follow so he wanted to see if it was just due to that or needed new ones. 17 years is an impressive amount of time for inserts to be helping you I must say! All of the inserts have a lifetime warranty. If anything happens to them, you can send them in for $12.95 and get a new one. They even have a replacement insert to substitute the one sent in (I think for the main one you wear). They also provide 3 of the regular sneaker inserts to place over the insert it self which is a little more cushiony than the regular ones in shoes. The only thing that sucked was the price ($1100). But with a lifetime warranty and IF it corrects your problems it sure seems worth the investment. I just couldn't afford it unfortunately and I don't do credit for my own reasons (however they do offer Care Credit if you wish to apply in order to get them). My daughter was having pain on the bottoms of her feet and my husband took her to the good feet store. The employee recommended inserts because they said she had flat feet. $200 later and she was still in pain. I finally took her to an orthopedic foot surgeon and they did exrays. My daughter has a high arch, NOT flat feet! My insurance is covering the cost of the proper inserts, designed by molds that will be specific to her own feet. DO NOT GO HERE! This is one of three locations in NYS. I believe Buffalo was their first one and it was a hit. Years ago a friend in NYC told me she travelled up into NYS to buy her sneakers. Always up for an adventure, one day I went with her. I mean, who drives an hour for sneakers? But when we got to the store I "got it". Owned by a former Olympic level runner and still a major cross coutry runner, this small store had people coming from hours away for shoe fittings. It was more than the sneakers. It was the fitted to your feet orthotics that were the draw. I got a pair and went back a few times. That was back when I wore high heels and my feet often complained. These days I don't need them. The Good Feet Store has the same impact. You come in and are treated as an individual. Orthotics are fitted just for you. It's a three step system and it'll cost you. They have like 500 sizes or something, they measure your feet by bone length I think. Just like the other store the process takes about an hour. You will walk out with three sets of shoe inserts. One is the "final pair" which you have to work up to. Then there is a "resting pair" for the end of the day. The third is what you wear as you are breaking in the first pair. They help with alignment, general walking posture improvement and comfort. Appointments are recommended but not necessary. You may get referred here by a medical professional. As far as I am concerned, The Good Feet Store is a huge scam. $762, for what? A couple of pieces of plastic that could be obtained from any pharmacy or on-line. I cannot feel too sorry for those who fell for the tricks offered by The Good Feet Store pushers. There ARE no doctors at the store. Why hasn't anybody accused them of practicing medicine without a license? If you have foot pain, see a doctor! The issues with my feet have developed over 7 decades and involved a considerable amount of wear and tear. The main issues presently are arthritis and a bunyanette on the outer left foot. Over the years i have purchased several sets of orthotics and I do not think they can help me now. I have seen an orthopedic surgeon on several occasions. He explained the surgical options which would be a last resort. I have heard several thousand commercials and testimonies for the good feet store over the past 22 years. My new years resolution for '22 was to check them out. January 3rd I showed up there. I, like many others, confused orthotics with arch supports. Cheryl, the gal I worked with, spent 2 hours patiently entertaining endless questions and stories and my tying on of various shoes once she chose the arch supports from the hundreds of options that there are. I will give her 5 stars because she was excellent. I went to the good feet store because, short of surgery, I was out of options. What I am hung up on is the price which, in my opinion, is exorbitant. $1300 for 6 pieces of plastic (?) that will fit inside (one at a time), in my shoe. I split my time between a suburban location and a rural one using very different footwear in each. Changing out the "strengtheners", Maintainers, and the relaxers is tedious enough if all your wearing is one pair of shoes but I have many including hiking shoes and "mudders". It would have been very helpful foe me, if, for that amount of money, I could have got 3 or 4 sets of the supports. I would rather pay Cheryl a few hundred dollars for her expertise then what the per ounce cost for the one set of supports cost me, notwithstanding the fact that there were likely R & D costs, marketing, over head, the cost of the guarantee, and who knows what else involved in determining the cost. I guess my point is, after 22 years, I would think the cost of the arch supports could be more reasonable. So, it has been 48 days. I religiously followed the 12 day break in per the hand out and getting 6 hours with the strengtheners every day since with the maintainers also every day for the duration. The relaxers are mixed in as well. The initial results were positive when wearing the two pair of shoes that i use, one in each "location". When I need to go to other footwear, the result is not so good. I will give it some more time. read more

Final review; previously I could hardly walk without pain first thing in the AM. Now 90% better. Further, with my sneakers on I had pain on the tread mill in my heals. Now with no insert minimal discomfort. Expensive, but 90% improvement, NO MD, shots or surgery! read more

The Good Feet store has been wonderful to my whole family. We have been using them for the past 15 years. We have been using them for plantar fasciitis knee, problems, pronation, supination and back problems. I took my brother in the other day and got him walking in complete set of orthotics. Before he came in the door he could hardly walk and walking with 1 foot to the right sight at a 45degree angle on the right side. After placing in the orthotics he was walking in a straight line. If you would've seen his face smiling you would've jumped for joy, as we did. I wish the whole world would've seen that. My brother has a learning disability and is on a walker and this has helped him immensely. Teresa helped him and was so kind and gentle with him. Many kudos to her Some people have other types of needs along with their foot and knee problems and then blame it on Good Feet Arch Supports. Maybe they should be trying to get down to the real problem instead of mocking the company. read more

Rich was amazing for the consultation we had yesterday. My husband has been using the good feet arch support for the past 4 years has been extremely happy with them. He recommended my parents to try them out and immediately at the store they felt the difference and used the "relaxers" for the rest of the day. As of today they will begin the program and they are very excited. We drove from Toronto specially to visit the store. The price tag is worth every penny - I would rather spend my $$ on my well being than a material product that does not add any value to my health. read more

The Good Feet Store has a massive advertising budget. The reason they are able to spend so much on advertising, is due to the fact, they overcharge their customers. Many insurance policies cover orthotics in the podiatric office. Don't get ripped off by the Good Feet Store. read more

Really helped me way more than I thought they would. I went in for my plantar fasciitis but they told me it would help a lot of stuff too like my back and bad knee. I was skeptical but I really noticed an immediate difference with my heel pain. After like 2 weeks not only was the fasciitis gone but I noticed my knee wasn't even hurting anymore and my back didn't throb after work even half as bad. I'm even less grouchy :) Also the older man who helped me there was so nice and took his time to help me. I can not tell you how happy I am that I went to The Good Feet Store. The personal attention and time the sales associate took to explain everything so that I understood was amazing. Everyone in the store was pleasant and helpful. I had an appointment but was greeted and given paperwork while my sales associate finished up with another customer. I have had my new orthotics on for a couple of days now and can not tell you the relief I have had already. I walk all over the medical corridor in downtown Buffalo and by the end of the day I was in such discomfort from my knees and lower back. Have not had any of that today. Also my legs would feel so heavy and again none of that today. Some may say this is expensive - but is it to be pain free? And how much more expensive is it really after buying many pairs of shoes that I thought were comfortable and discarding after wearing them a few times because they hurt my feet.
