My mom wanted these inserts so we stopped by. The sales people are high pressure which didn't bother me. The sales lady measured my mom's feet, then went to the back and grabbed some pre fabricated inserts. They looked exactly like Dr Sholls inserts you buy at Walmart. I thought they would be custom made for her feet. Nope. They were $1500!!! I told my mom not to get them but she bought into the sales pitch and was all in. The sales lady told her she needs to get a size larger shoe now that she has the inserts. Are you kidding me? She now has to buy all new shoes??? Long story short, the inserts didn't help at all and she threw them out. Lesson learned. I can't believe this place is still in business. They have lots of complaints filed with the BBB and I can see why. read more

Horrible experience. I went in and it was all high pressure sales! I went in knowing my foot measurements (6E width), but amazingly the sales person told me I was a different size, amazingly it was a largest width (4E) they keep in stock... I explained to him that I'd recently had custom inserts made, however, amazingly they have better than anyone else because they ARE The Good Feet Store. Pathetic sales pitch... they act as if each customer doesn't know anything. Then they seem offended when you don't purchase the whole package that they offer. Wife has been complaining about her feet hurting; I kept telling her she needed some better shoes and probably some shoe inserts. So we did a search and found a Good Feet near us. When we arrived we were greeted by the nicest person on Earth, a lady by the name of Lupita introduced herself and began listening to my wife's needs. The care and time she took to answer all of my wife's questions with zero rush, or high pressure sales pitch you experience at far too many retail stores. After the initial conversation they did a scan to check where my wife's feet had the most pressure and were able to determine what could be meet her needs. After a lengthy fit and try session Lupita helped get the right shoe and insert combination for my wife's sore feet. We would 100% go to the store again, we in fact might be going back to see Lupita again tomorrow so my daughter can get shoes too. read more

After experiencing severe foot pain for a couple of months, I decided to pay a visit to the Good Feet store after hearing a commercial on the radio. At this point I was pretty desperate for relief and thought I could go to Good Feet and buy a pair of shoes to help. When we arrived I was told they were with customers and I could sign in and wait or come back in an hour. We left and came back and as we were waiting I was hearing prices like $350, $1200, $1600 etc.. I told my hubby there was nooo way and I wanted to leave. All I wanted was a pair of good shoes , what were all these prices I was hearing? When it was my turn I realized it was a "system" they were selling not good shoes. Albert the salesman had me walk in ink and got prints of my feet. He told me I had high arches, plantar fasciitis and bunions. He guaranteed me after a couple of weeks of wearing their arch supports I would be good as new. He sold me on their system to the tune of $2300...once again I was desperate for relief. A few weeks later... after wearing the supports religiously, I was not better. In fact... my feet were much worse. I could barely stand and my big toe was starting to form a gap between the next toe! WTH? I knew there was something wrong! Number one... I realized foot arches that are not custom made to fit your feet? Can't possibly correct anything. Number two... why did I need FOUR different arch supports? Number three... Albert said I had bunions ( as you can see in the pic, I clearly do not have bunions) because I wear tight shoes. The fact is, I neverrr wear shoes that are tight and I always buy shoes a tad bigger for comfort. Number four... Albert said I wore an 8 and 1/2. Never in my life have I wore that size.... A whole size bigger than what I've been wearing my whole adult life. Clearly this store is prescribing and selling foot supports with no medical backing. Wrong shoe sizes, false claims and high prices to boot. DON'T fall for this...all you're going to get is a huge bill, sore feet and shoes that don't fit. I ended up having to go to my regular dr who said those supports they sell are worthless and had me buy some for $50 that have already helped in just a few short days. One note... I did buy a foot massager for $350 that I love. But Albert told me if I found one cheaper it was "fake". I don't even think that is the truth based on all the other BS he told me. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a bunch of money. Steer clear. read more

I was leary of any positive results since for 10 years my feet would hurt after an hour of standing or walking. I've had several sprained ankles and unfortunately limped on them instead of using crutches while healing. My new job with 12 hour shifts requires standing and walking 90% of the time. At 58 years of age, I was confident I could handle it as long as my feet could. After about 2 to 3 weeks of wearing the insoles while they adjusted, (as instructed by Koria, the rep, who no longer works there. she was Great and knowledgeable) they did the trick. My review is long overdue (by a month or so) but I still want to give a shout out to Adrian Fernandez for the fantastic service he rendered when I went to his store for the first time. I had been to the Good Feet Store several years ago and the arch supports I had at that time were really good. But over the years, due to prolonged standing and walking and so much strain from being on my feet all day plus losing track of my "strengtheners", "maintainers", and "relaxers" my feet could no longer take all the wear and tear. Plantar fasciitis, bunions, knee pain, hip pain, back pain and outright slouching and difficulty maintaining proper gait when walking made my life miserable. This may sound like something from the GFS commercials but it's not. It's the torture I had to endure over the years all because my feet had taken a beating and I couldn't do anything about it. I had tried going to a podiatrist because of the bunion on my R foot but since I didn't want to undergo surgery for that, he had me undergo fitting for custom made arch supports (which were pretty expensive for just one set). Unfortunately, they didn't work like they were supposed to and after a week I stopped using them because I walked like a zombie!!! Fast forward to last month, I decided that enough was enough...I wasn't going to let my miserable feet get the better of me. That's when I walked into the GFS and met this amazing salesman, Adrian Fernandez II, who I believe is one of the most impressive, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional in his business!!! Once he had me try out the arch supports it was like magic!!! I was able to stand up straight and walk without any pain in my feet, knees, hips or back. Wow!!! Instant relief...just what I needed after all those years of pain and misery. So I got the set of arch supports, a new pair of athletic shoes plus the foot massager and although everything I got was pretty costly I believe it was a good investment in the long run. Well, I'm a person that is VERY skeptical! I don't like BS commercials and BS products that seem too good to be true. My boyfriend needed SOMETHING to help with his back & foot pain. He's on his feet all day (Construction) and he always came home limping. He bought the Dr.Shoals Foot inserts...didn't work! MY issue, attributed to weight gain, is foot pain (ball of foot and heel) and chronic back pain for the past 3 years. It hurt to walk around the store, then my lower back pain would just be excruciating! He suggested that we try Good Feet in Modesto. I decided to tag along. We were greeted by Jackie. She sat us down and had him do the Foot Print Test to pinpoint where the pressure points were on his feet. She came out with the kit with 3 different inserts. I'm thinking:" they look like any other inserts to me!" Then she explained the benefits of each inserts and when to use them. He egged me on to try the test too. So I did. She came out with a kit for me. He said he would get them for me. Well...OKAY! :D We got to wear them out the door. NO LIE! NO LIE AT ALL! These are AWESOME! They do take some getting used to in the first few hours....but I FELT NO MORE BACK PAIN! This is the REAL DEAL! It's pricey & may not be for everyone.......but it's a worthwhile investment! I visited a store with my wife this weekend. The salesman was pushing some cheap massage machine, and I mean it was super crappy, just a vibrator for your feet. I told him that I had plantar fasciitis that was hurting the arch, heel and ball of my left foot, the ankle. I explained that I wear steel-toe boots for my work, that I'm on my feet about six hours of my work day and walk about five miles per day. All he was trying to do was upsell a bunch of crappy shoes. He even told me I could buy a "steel-toe insert" for the hiking style boots he showed me. Obviously, he had no idea what he was talking about. I don't think he knew anything about anatomy and physiology, either. He was like a used car salesman. He explained the benefits of the shoe inserts by just reading from the packaging. Good Feet Store is just a bunch of overpriced gimmicky junk and fake magic tricks. I spent thirty dollars at Walmart and got inserts, a foot sleeve thing and a brace for sleeping in and am back to doing all my daily stretches. On another note, I went and used their restroom. On returning to the salesfloor from the restroom I noticed a sign urging employees to sell $3,700 per week. It's all about selling cheap inserts, crappy shoes and mumbo-jumbo magic tricks. read more

Just a follow up to my earlier review. I've now been wearing these inserts for a few months now and can accurately say they've done NOTHING to help my feet. I finally went to the podiatrist and had them cast my feet and order a set of custom orthotics. AND my insurance covered it at 100%. I would have to say that spending $750 at the Good Feet store will go down as one of the worst purchases I ever made. But as stated before, I was desperate.. I limped into Goodfeetstore not expecting much help for my chronic plantar fasciitis that no doctor could successfully treat. I walked out almost pain free. Excellent service, Koria was SUPER helpful from begging to end. I first purchased arch supports in my mid 20s soon after I began teaching. The pain in my heals, ankles and lower back was excruciating and I was going through shoe inserts like there was no tomorrow. After buying the arch supports, which I use in all of my shoes, the pain disappeared immediately. I am now in my mid 40s and have been VERY pleased with their lifetime warranty - I have replaced my inserts twice without hassle. The customer service is what merits the lone star. Before deciding to walk inside the store with my 2 EXTREMELY friends dogs, I checked their door and windows for signs that may prohibit animals. Given that they don't have a sign, and I was there to pick up an item on reserve, I took them inside. Their attendant, Kaily (spelling), who was NOT wearing a mask during this COVID-19 pandemic, even though a sign specifically states that masks are required to enter store, immediately scoffed, in a foul and angry tone, "you can't bring dogs inside." I attempted to explain that they don't have a sign that states otherwise and That I drove 45 minutes to pick up and item, but her foul tone neutralized me. So I simply shared that I was there to pick up an item without going into details. Kaily's response, "NO DOGS ALLOWED!" Eventually another customer service attendant came out and graciously helped me as Kaily exited her shift - or left to lunch. I am normally not petty about this stuff and have no problem returning my dogs to my vehicle BUT Kaily cannot be selective about what rules to follow. In her pitbull tone about me entering the store with two friendly dogs, she failed to look in the mirror and notice her failure to comply with store policy during this pandemic. I was diagnosed with a foot issue a year ago, so I thought I could go and get a pair of shoes with inserts to help solve my foot problems. Ive got a high arch and have to wear sandals to work. So I went in and they checked over my feet. They measure and "make" an insert to be put in your shoe. In minutes he came out of the back with an insert to be put in shoe. $400.00 for the sandals and i set of insert. So I start wearing them and noticed my feet are killing me. I go back down there and I told the manager. He ask how often etc I was wearing them. I told him I wore the shoes all day. Wrong!! They didn't give me the paperwork (instructions) with inserts. Your suppose to wear them 1 hour on and off for four hours etc. There hard like plastic (not that plastic's soft) not comfortable at all. I told him there's no way I can wear them at all. He returned them and gave me the "maintainer's" the softer ones lol Why didn't you give me those in the first place??? There still hard and no arch support just like the first ones. I would not recommend spending the amount of money they charge for something that's NOT comfortable. Dr. Scholls has inserts for $8.00 and $8.00 for the arch cushion works just fine. I've put in all my shoes. The small nickel size piece of velcro that they put on the heel part of sandal to hold insert in place doesn't hold insert in place, so it slips around when you walk on my sandal. I visited this location 2 separate times. I don't have a normal foot structure, high arch and wide feet. Exerting myself at the gym was causing metatarsalgia in my right foot. I was looking for a pair of specialty shoes or something to solve the problem. The first time I visited was early on a Monday. The place was empty when I walked in, and after about 30 seconds a gentleman came strolling out of the back. I explained to him the problem I was having and he directed me to a pair of new balance. He didn't spend any time measuring my foot or looking at my foot to give some sense of professional opinion. My width is larger than standard wide feet. How did the guy even know what would be good or right for me? Anyhow, he still had a real chance at a potential sale because I seriously wanted to improve my situation even at a high cost. He mentioned being able to order a pair of shoes, but being that we didn't do anything to figure out if the shoe would be of a genuine benefit to me, I passed. I ended up going and buying a pair of running shoes that were recommended off of the internet. Fast forward a few weeks. New shoes were a significant improvement, but I was still having trouble every time I would push the intensity of my workout. I wanted to go to a specialist that was local. Good Feet appeared to be the only place. Their website shows they carry a variety of inserts that are more particular in design than your basic off the shelf models. I went to this location again. It was about 40 minutes to close. Again, the store was empty and it took about 30 seconds for someone to come strolling out of the back. This time a lady assisted me. I barely mentioned my situation, and she cut me off saying that all they carry are specially designed inserts for 300 dollars. I could tell by her demeanor that she assumed I would not be willing to pay or could not afford them. Can't blame her, I was in gym clothes. I went further into explaining my situation. I figured maybe she had some advice, or, I was open to being sold on the expensive inserts. I was willing to pay just about anything to solve my problem. After a short exchange I came to realize that she didn't even want to be bothered. She had little interest in helping me with my problem, and no interest in trying to inform me about how good their product could be. In my honest opinion, it felt like it was close to closing and she wanted to go home. I don't know how this place can stay in business. The employees were never rude, but they were never helpful either. They seemed indifferent. They appeared content to sit in an empty store and do nothing for a paycheck. Just my opinion. read more

Back in February I stepped into our local Good Feet store to inquiry about their inserts. I was dealing with plantar fasciitis and my daily walk routine was becoming unbearable to do. Regular insoles (think Dr. Scholl's) weren't helping me. The manager of this store spent a considerable amount of time with me explaining and/or answering all my questions. I left this store with 3 different inserts, add'l shoe insoles, a new pair of tennis shoes and a very empty pocket. These inserts are not cheap! Fast forward 8 months (and a lot of walking miles later), these inserts have helped tremendously and I would not wear my shoes without them. BUT...here are the reasons for my 3 star rating instead of a 5 star rating: You can save yourself some money by not falling prey to the sales pitch of needing the insoles and a new pair of tennis shoes. Of the 3 inserts, (the strengthener, the maintainer and the relaxer) I only use 2 of them. Since I am a big flip flop/sandal wearer, I was told the relaxer insert can be used for them. It can't, and so I don't use the relaxer at all. Save yourself the $250 for that insert and buy yourself a pair of Vionic flip flops online at $40. The Vionic has built in inserts for plantar fasciitis and work great! The lifetime warranty on the Good Feet inserts kind of suck. For $20, they will replace the inserts. Well, since purchasing these inserts (@ $250.00 per insert), I have discovered the Walkfit inserts at our local Target store for $20 and they work just as well. I may have to replace the Walkfit inserts every year but, it's equivalent to the warranty charge of the Good Feet insert. Overall; I have the Good Feet store inserts with their lifetime warranty and do like the results that I have gotten from wearing them but can kick myself for all the added costs that I fell prey to. As a message to other consumers thinking of buying these inserts, I would say: Try the Walkfit inserts for your shoes first and perhaps a pair of Plantar Fasciitis flip flops before investing hundreds of dollars into the Good Feet inserts. read more

I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis, off and on, for years. Going to the Good Feet store was a "last resort" after trying everything else. I wish I would've gone there first because it is SO much more effective than anything else I've tried. The inserts are a bit pricey, but you really get what you pay for and they are guaranteed for life. I like how you can get different types of inserts for different types of shoes. I have a pair for my athletic/close toed shoes, and a different pair to wear with dress shoes or flip flops. The McHenry store in Modesto has awesome service too!! Dannette helped me when I first went in 6 months ago, and again today when I went to get new cushions for my shoes. She was just as friendly and helpful today as she was the first time I went.
