Great, friendly staff, and super clean environment! The hours are sometimes difficult because even as members you don't have 24/7 access. Early morning or night hours usually mean less people, afternoon hours can sometimes be busy and mean you'll have to adjust your workout based on what equipment is available. They keep it dark and low lit in the gym which I enjoy so I am less focused on my aesthetics or other people and more focused on getting in my workout and feeling accomplished. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a boutique gym, that is never overly crowded.

It's smaller, private and not super busy like most gyms. I can get my workouts done without waiting for equipment. I really appreciate the thoughtful touches, like the infrared sauna, nice showers, toiletries for women, hair ties, and the locker system. You can tell a lot of care went into creating a nice gym environment. Unfortunately, the customer service does not match the quality of the gym. There are a couple of male employees who are always kind, friendly, and welcoming. They talk to me, acknowledge me, and make the experience feel positive. However, my experience with some of the female staff has been the opposite. They often come across as rude, bland, and unwelcoming. When I walk in, they typically do not say hello unless I say hello first. Most recently, I called to update the card on file because I wanted to pay with my debit card instead of my credit card. I provided my last name and first name, and instead of asking for additional information to locate my account, I was told, "We don't have anybody here by that name." As a paying member, that was frustrating and felt very dismissive. I genuinely love the gym itself and think the facility is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I just wish the customer service matched the quality of the space.

I picked this gym out 5 that I get to visit with my…read morethird party membership which I have never had issues entering the other gyms but I've came in a few times where the fob didn't work & I workout early so imagine driving all the way to a gym at 5am and not being able to workout. I already spoke to the owner about this which after reading the other reviews she will probably bully me on this one. The gym it self is ok it's like an elevated apartment gym and doesn't have everything but just enough. When it's busy you will have to wait for some equipment and again it's a smaller gym so not much space to move around if it's busy but that kind of is the theme with this particular chain. I prefer the rainbow and warm springs location best, it's bigger and they have machines that this location doesn't have. If you are looking for a smaller gym and come in early enough or get lucky when it's not busy this may be a fit. Just keep in mind their fob system if you have a membership through a third party.

When I started back up again things had changed and they wanted debit card info and you had to tie the account into the app on your phone. This time around I cancelled and they still charged me fees, so no problem I contacted my bank and showed proof of cancellation and the charges got refunded. Cut to a week later, they dig up my old credit card info and try to charge THAT instead... absolutely not! Luckily it's the same bank as my debit so I explained and they reversed those charges too. Now I'm getting calls and voicemails about paying my dues for the membership that I had cancelled. After this experience I won't recommend planet fitness to anyone nor will I ever return. Scammers!

Took a heated mat Pilates class at Kintsugi and wow... it was one of those experiences that stays…read morewith you after you leave. The class itself was intense in the best way the kind that pushes you mentally and physically but the instructor's energy carried the whole room. She coached with intention, guided with calm confidence, and made it feel possible to keep going even when it got tough. After class, I overheard her catching up with friends and sharing why she opened the space. She talked about her own healing journey and how she wanted others to have access to that same kind of transformation. Finding out she was both the instructor and the owner made everything click. You can feel how immersed she is in her work. It's not just a studio to her it's something she genuinely believes in, and that energy fills the room. I left feeling proud of myself for scheduling something challenging into my calendar and actually showing up for it. And honestly, that alone made the experience worth it. If you're looking for a wellness space that feels intentional, personal, and rooted in real purpose, Kintsugi is definitely one to experience

The sales staff seemed like they used to sell timeshares. I had a helluva time getting my ID back when I tried it out the gym on a guest pass. I totally get why there was a shooting here last year. It feels like a larger version of the Maryland Pkwy location.
