    Paseos Park

Nestled with new housing developments in Summerlin is the Paseos Park. This park is lush with trees and bright green, well maintained grass throughout, you'd never know you're still in the Las Vegas area! Very clean throughout with benches and a playground for families. This was a pleasant stop on my bike ride, discovering beautiful neighborhoods and surrounding, untouched desert.

An awesome day I've had today my first time to this park. There's a basketball court, splash pad, sand box, jungle gym sets for the toddlers and another bigger for the bigger kids, a big grassy field, tables and benches, with a lot of nice shady places to hang out on the grass. The restrooms are clean, has soap & hand sanitizer along with a hand dryer. Lots of free parking. I definitely recommend Paseo Park.

    Lovely evening stroll.

Love this park and it's lovely walking trail. The park has a playground area, large grass fields, volleyball quart, basketball quart, splash pad, shade trees, tables and benches, and a restroom facility. The park and trail can get busy daily after 3pm, but still not overly congested feeling. The walking trail is xeroscaped and has pet poop stations (trash pail with poop bags) throughout. The trail does walk through residential neighborhoods, so please be sure to be respectful so we can keep this park and trail as wonderful as it is!

Bike racks, water fountains, benches & basketball courts! (6/4/22)

Paseos Park is a gem in Summerlin, Nevada, which is one of the more beautiful areas of Las Vegas for those of you who have never been. A 12.5-acre park, Paseos sits in the center of a beautiful upper middle class neighborhood boasting the following amenities in alphabetized order: + interactive water play area (splash pad!... no idea what the season is for this, but even parents want to partake when it's above 80 degrees F. Lol.) + junior soccer fields + junior tee-ball fields + lit basketball courts + open grass areas + picnic pavilions + sand volleyball court + shaded playground + tot lot with sand pit + walking path (with a bit of an incline) Thank you to the staff members who help maintain this park! The grass was high, but other than that - no trash or stupid a$$ $h*t like I have seen at other parks. Just sayin'. My mother-in-law requested that I find a park so she could watch her grandkids play before we headed back to her house, a 50-minute drive away. I'm ending this review reminding you that Seneca said, "It does not matter what you bear, but how you bear it."

The park has got you covered with everything you need! It's spacious, never overcrowded, and offers BBQ pits, picnic tables with coverings, restrooms, basketball and volleyball areas with sand. And let's not forget the amazing splash pad, perfect for all ages with plenty of water spouts. Plus, there are beautiful walking trails in a lovely area. Personally, I love coming here for the walking trails!

Wow what a cute and fun park , literally has everything you need not over crowded, they have bbq pits and clean restrooms , basketball area . Volley ball are , splash pad is great for any age the splash pad has plenty of water spouts the park or play area is covered so helps you from over heating . Bring your family and lay out your blanket and have a picnic let the kids go crazy this is a little far from our house but def worth it I'm sure we will be back the area it's self is so nice

    Enjoying the splash pad~

If you're willing to make a drive into the Summerlin hills, do it! You won't be disappointed with this park. 2 large playgrounds (1 for the older kids and the other for younger kids,) the splash pad also had 2 areas to it where the water levels were different, a beach volleyball court, lots of open field and plenty of space to sit and be covered in the shade. You are higher into the mountain so it's not as hot as being deeper in the valley but be sure to use plenty of sunscreen because the sun does hit!

Super fun park! My son loves coming here. He prefers the sandbox mostly, but having access to all the different features definitely makes for a fun time outside! Lots of grassy areas to run around, clean restrooms, and a couple volley ball courts. One of our favorite spots to hang out.

The west end of the park by the basketball courts.

I ride my bicycle through the park almost every Sunday and it's usually empty except for some people walking their dogs. If there is no one out, I generally see rabbits who come from the desert to enjoy a breakfast buffet of the fine grass and plantings at the park. It's a good sized park with lots of space for running with your pets--dogs and children--and there is a cushioned play area for the smaller kids with the requisite coverings so the sun is screened somewhat. There's a section where you can play sand volleyball (the beach is too far away for beach volleyball). There are covered picnic tables and clean bathrooms. The park is well maintained. We have stopped here after a hike or two for our snack and drink time but then read the Summerlin rules that alcohol is not allowed in the park. It would also be a nice place to sit and read but since it's in an area where the housing starts have really taken off, it will be a bit noisy during the day. It's a typical Summerlin park and very nice.

Ask the Community - Paseos Park

Do i have to make a reservation anywhere for a birthday party?

Most likely. You need to contact the Summerlin Community office for that Summerlin village.

Can I bring my own BBQ grill?

I believe they have grills on the premises. Your best bet would be to check with the Summerlin Community association to make sure.

Is this park open to the public or is it in a gated residential community?

It is open to the public and not located in a gated community.

What are the schedule of splash pad?

While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in.
