BTW I did let the restaurant know about the first disk, but thought I would give them a 2nd go and I'm glad I did. The Chicken Dansak was I would say almost perfect, succulent Chicken, just the right amount of sweet/sourness and tasty fresh ingredients. It redeemed itself after the first takeaway. Recommended!

The menu is extensive and the food is excellent. They cater for all your curry needs whether it's a mild korma or a 'blow the roof off your mouth off' phal. The prices are incredibly reasonable; in fact they have remained the same for the last five years. One of the many joys of eating here is the almost limitless supply of coffee at the end of the meal. You pay for the first cup and the rest is free. There's also a complementary glass of brandy and a plate full of chocolate mints. I would recommend it to anyone.

We were eager to eat and quickly started in the 14 dishes which included a tandoori chicken, a korma chicken, a lamb vindaloo that was slightly spicy, a prawn curry that tasted fresh and was delicious, some Saag vegetarian dishes with cabbage, Spanish and potato, a curry made from sweet corn which was unusually good, a very tasty narn which was fresh and slightly sweet like peshwari, rice, onion baji and fried aubergine. We tried each and every dish and found them all to be very tasty. In general most are creamy and not oily at all and my mouth waters thinking about the food. Those who want very spicy food will be very disappointed as this is not spicy at all. I was a bit shocked to read a previous review that it had no flavour because every dish tasted good. The staff kept refilling the dishes regularly and were open and friendly. They were dressed down which was good as it just made you feel relaxed. It's fairly new to Enfield, and before this, our local curry was the Poppadum. Well, we came here, and it is now the top of our list! One thing I like about it is beef curry! It's not something you can get very often in curry houses, but they do an excellent job with it! Their lamb shank is also very tasty. I usually order onion bhajis because they are crisp and delicious, but most of the starters here are great! They will often suggest things that they think you might like or that aren't on the menu, like when I took my parents here for their first ever Indian experience. (They loved it.) If you're looking for curry in Enfield, it really is the place to go!
