That said, her photographs were beautiful (which is why I have selected 2 stars), but everything on the business end was a disaster. It started when she cancelled our engagement shoot with little notice and denied our request to simply add an hour to the wedding photography time, even though the1-hour engagement shoot was considered to be part of the package we purchased. But that was just the start. In addition to being extremely unresponsive by email in the weeks leading up to our wedding, she sent us a form asking for a detailed list of the pictures we wanted, who we wanted in them, etc. We filled it out completely and included a number of pictures with extended family. We had purchased a more expensive package that included a second photographer, and the form asked for the address of both the bride and groom's getting-ready locations, so that both groups could be photographed. I included the address of both locations in the form, which was submitted weeks before the wedding. When she and her second photographer showed up, they only had one car and at the last minute said that they wouldn't be able to photograph my husband and friends getting ready because of transportation. They clearly could have planned around or provided notice of this limitation when I submitted my form, but only seemed to start figuring this out upon arrival. In the end, not a single photo was taken of my husband or his groomsmen prior to the wedding. Everything else at the wedding went more or less fine. She sent as a batch of 300 photos in the weeks following the wedding, but missing from these photos were any of the photos of extended family we requested or many photos that we saw her and her second photographer taking at the reception. We emailed her only a few hours after receiving the photos, and politely asked if she could look for additional pictures of our guests and send them along. This was in early October. It took over SIX MONTHS for her to respond to the request, after many follow-up emails. Finally, six months later, she replied and said that no other photos existed. Multiple people (including me, my husband, our parents and multiple friends) saw she and her assistant photographing tables, guests, posed pictures - we know these photos were taken. I assume that she deleted contents of the memory card and just did not want to admit this to us. Frankly, I would have preferred honesty rather than waiting for months on end, holding out hope and delaying the creation of photo albums, etc., only to receive an extremely disappointing and dishonest response. Bottom line, Jazmine Rubio is exceedingly unprofessional. As I said initially, the photos she took and did provide to us were beautiful, but for a $3,400 investment, I would absolutely not recommend Jazmine Rubio Photography.

As we come up on our two year anniversary of our wedding we realized that the only part that wasn't…read moregreat was the photographer. As we are out of state, our relatives found this guy. What he promised and what were delivered were two very different things. When he was asked to take certain photos that we wanted, such as a few pics of the bridesmaids getting ready, he replied "I'm busy right now", as he continued to take photos of the dessert table. What photos we got were mediocre at best. Thank god we had a few people at the party who we're savvy with a camera. The photos we got from our friends were better than the ones he took by far. The leather bound album that he promised for an extra $1000 dollars never showed up. Instead, he offered up a blown up photo of the two of us mounted on foam that I could probably get at staples for $35 bucks. One can look at the photos that he has posted on yelp and/or his website look great, he obviously has some talent but I feel that if he's not into it, his work is poor. During the wedding he was somewhat unpleasant and obviously didn't want to be there. The bottom line is that we paid this guy thousands of dollars for a CD full of photos that a teenager could do with a Canon Rebel. We had an event on 12/19/21 with cost at entry. I paid $75 for 1 additional vendor space. I learned 2 days before event, my vendor was exposed to COVID and could not attend. Anna & I communicated constantly and I informed her the vendor was exposed to COVID and could not attend. She offered me a refund (audio text saved). Day before event, Anna provided new assistant (a vendors from her Sunday markets) services. Anna said she would be available as well! Anna authorized us to set up the night prior, our balloon vendors to set up at 8 am the day of event, our DJ to operate without any restrictions, and the back door to remain closed. Handicap guest that required ramp access was the exception. We set up the night before and her assistant (Stephanie owner: O So Perfect Boutique) was extremely rude. Anna was notified after and informed of assistant's conduct. She justified her assistant's actions. I asked for the refund offered for the vendor space I paid for and inquired about missing equipment for set up. Anna did not respond. Day of event, I followed up with Anna and she responded via text stating that she cannot talk or listen to text memos, she could not offer me a refund and that my money was gone because she had expenses too. I responded, begging her to call me and why did the terms of the refund & her disposition change. When I arrived at 8:10 am, I seen my balloon vendor waiting outside along with Anna's vendor. They all were agitated and said they had been yelled at & kicked out by the assistant because it was too early to enter. I banged on the back door while trying to call Anna. Anna did not respond but the assistant opened the back door. I asked why Anna was not responding to my calls and have her call me. The assistant got Anna on her phone but Anna kept rejecting my calls. I noticed that the vendor space I paid for was taken by the assistant for her business. I demanded to have her move her belongings because I had paid for that space. The assistant said my space was sold and I demanded Anna call me. Anna called me and she said she never offered me a refund (audio text proving different); technically I have only 1 space available to me (the paid space); I should not ask for a refund with all the freebies that were provided and interact with her assistant from this point. I informed Anna she was going against the terms of our agreement and this is not right! I hung up the phone and told my team to pack up. I instructed Anna's assistant that we were leaving but after thorough consideration, my team and I decided to stay. I asked for an itemized bill for all the complimentary items that were offered and the assistant said I was not being charged/billed. Some of our chairs were taken, the DJ was instructed to turn down the music because it was too loud, affecting vendor's sales and the back door was opened constantly. I speculate the assistant and her associates were creating these retaliatory acts due to me repossessing the vendor space I paid for and reporting her to Anna. The assistant was no where to be found constantly. People were sneaking in the back without paying. Some of my team kept closing the back door and my husband guarded the area to ensure no one else snuck in. I contacted Anna 2x regarding the back door and my balloon vendor being kicked out. I informed her if that back door was opened again, my team & I were packing up and leaving the event. The back door was re opened & 2 people walked in before the fashion show. After the fashion show & raffle giveaway my team, guest & celebrity speakers packed up & left. Several people entered without paying. We maintained the agreement within the partnership until we were forced to leave due to the callous acts we encountered. I have never endured this type of unprofessionalism, malicious, vile and sabotaging conduct from an establishment.

My event coordinator was always in contact with me to assure everything went as planned. The service the day of the event was impressive. Everyone was very helpful and attentive. The drinks were amazing. They boxed up everything left over for me to take home. My guests, too, were very impressed with the place and they all claimed to have had a spectacular time. I would definitely use this place again for my next event.
