I was told that it would be no problem for them and that I would receive an estimate by email. Well, August 9th came and went, no estimate. I asked for status via email to their office. I followed up on August 13th with a phone call to their office number. I was told that the estimate would be resent. Well, I never received it and never got any follow-up call. I had visits from two other tree companies and received the quotes in real-time or by the next day. Guess who didn't get hired for the job? Very poor communications and not a contractor that I'd want to hire for this type of work regardless of having "Experts" in their company name. I hired Elliott Tree of Whitman, MA who did a fantastic job at a reasonable price, and with a professional crew.

We live on beautifully wooded property and hate the idea of cutting any trees down but this one was in tough shape. If it had fallen, it would have landed on the house. Neighbors had recommended Glynn Tree Experts so we hired them and they did a terrific job. This tree was not only huge but was surrounded by many other trees so it was hard to maneuver around. Glynn came to the rescue and we were very pleased with the service they provided. The tree was cut down with no damage to surrounding trees. Fast forward to last year: we had been buying cord wood from another local company each fall for a long time, but a couple of years ago we were unhappy, as long-time customers, with what we were surprised to find was some suddenly dismissive and poor service. We decided that we would end our relationship with this company and purchase wood elsewhere. The best way to deal with bad service is to take your consumer dollars some place else. We remembered the great service we'd had with Glynn all those years ago so we called them up for a two cord order in 2014. They were prompt, courteous and with fair prices. The wood was seasoned well and we had a choice of two lengths. This year we ordered another two cords and are similarly pleased with the wood, the service and the quality. Since the wood gets dumped out of the back of a big truck into a huge pile you have to hope/assume you're getting the correct amount of wood. A cord is 8'x8'x4' and once stacked we were certainly convinced we did just fine by Glynn. (And I will add that stacking wood is truly one of my favorite activities and it's good exercise.) I do recommend Glynn whether you have a tree issue that needs to be addressed or whether you're looking for cord wood.

I was beginning to think that there was something wrong with my money, since no one seemed to want it! Kevin at Fenway Landscaping returned my phone call in less than 24 hours. He came out in the morning to get a look at my yard, promised to call with a quote later that day... AND HE DID! He did the job the same week, and it cost half what the other outfit was going to charge. He did great work, and on top of that, he was nice. I can't stand giving money to people who aren't nice. Last year 2022 I had an issue needing a repair, never saw Joe, he sent two workers that spent no more than 15 minutes, couldn't explain why the issue occurred and left supposedly having fixed it. April this year 2023, the exact issue occurred. I contacted Joe and told, he'd get back to me. He didn't so a few calls later he did and told me he'd stop by when "in the area". It's now 2 months later and no sign of him. His office person told me on 6/14 he was coming that day. No show. I've left messages twice since with no call back. So If no issues post install, great but expect nothing but lies, no communication .. if anything needs to be done after the install. Go elsewhere!

Snowpocalypse 2013!…read more We got so much freaking snow, it was ridiculous. My gf and I had a ton of work ahead of us. We ended up doing 7 snow shoveling sessions. We didn't feel the need to hire a snowplowing service. However, on our last session, a truck from Tibur was kind enough to plow a bunch of snow out of our driveway. We didn't even ask and he just went ahead and helped us out. It was extremely kind and it showed great customer service. It was awesome. Great service and a great help, especially as we got so much snow from the blizzard. It made our lives a tad easier.

I had a tree fall in my backyard in Boston this week and called Lucas and his team, after being…read morerecommended from a neighbor who had them take care of their tree. This was a very busy time in Mass as many trees have fallen due to recent hurricane level winds. Lucas was very responsive and showed up personally to assess the situation before giving a quote, which other companies we called were too busy to do. Lucas gave us sound advice of removing our remaining trees that were diseased and was reasonable with the cost of taking them down. He then led a team who provided a crane service to ensure the trees were safely removed, avoiding power and cable lines surrounding my backyard. This was a full service solution that he navigated with grace while dealing with complaining neighbors, and coordinating a police detail to ensure everyone was safe in the process. Nothing but praise for this company, who executed the job swiftly and safely. Full of weeds, rocky soil, etc. They gave me a great price to fully till the front lawn, pull out all the old grass, till and improve the soil for the lawn which included excellent new soil and peat moss to go with the seeding. I watered twice a day in the beginning as they suggested and the lawn came out BEAUTIFUL! I cannot wait to see what it looks like come springtime. They also did a great job on the beds with my flowers/roses/bushes. Again, replaced a lot of soil and put down sand and drainage fabric. It makes the bushes look great and as an added bonus I no longer have water in my basement after a big rainstorm. I recommend them for any landscaping needs you have!

I had several neighbors threaten to file noise complaints against me because their equipment was louder than what is allowed by Boston noise ordinances. I see other reviewers have had the same experience. Hire these people if you want town bylaws blatantly ignored and your neighbors royally pissed off.
