I had some other mystery bush that was an eyesore as well. Well, when I called DeMore they called me right back and came out for an estimate right away. The other landscape companies I contacted weren't very responsive and gave me a much higher quote. I thought about going to Home Dept, renting a chipper, figuring out how to work my chainsaw, etc... then I got the quote from DeMore. Why deal with all the hassle when I could have a certified arborist do the job for around the same price or cheaper? (I didn't actually price out HD, but it should've been close) Plus he identified my mystery (mock orange) bush. The best part was I left for work in the morning and when I came home all my bush/shrubs were gone! Only a little bit of sawdust remained. They tried to bill the party that contracted them for this branch, and when they refused to pay they billed me, saying it over my property and that is who pays. Today the crew appeared early in the morning to shape and prune a beautiful Japanese maple tree which is the focal point of the yard. It is absolutely beautiful now and also more healthy due to their expertise in shaping and pruning this tree, which my grandfather and I planted together when I was about 4 years old. We hired Goody's under pressure. We needed to change landscaping around the entrance of a house at…read morethe last second or else our purchase of the place would have fallen through. While the work at the time looked OK enough, in the years since we have regularly found areas where Goody's did shoddy work or cut corners. The last straw came quite recently (about 10 years after the original work) when we learned that some of the most important elements we paid for were never actually put in place. We had a pair of downspouts that were meant to take water off our roof and funnel it away from our foundations. Goody's sunk the downspouts into the ground and connected them to a dry well. (Or so we thought.) We recently hired a different landscaping company to do a broad outdoor renovation. They found out that the underground lines Goody's installed to carry downspout water away from our house, were actually pitched to send the water back to our house. (Creating a basement flooding.) Furthermore, the dry wells we paid for actually don't exist. If I had all my paperwork, I would have considered suing. But since I can't sue, I consider it a lesson well learned... and I hope this review will make those who hires Goody's cautious about any work doe that you ca't see with your own eyes.

I'd never hired an outside company, so I asked around for recommendations and Rashidi was mentioned by a friend so I gave them a call. They were very helpful in a lot of ways. They showed me some examples of previous work they had done and explained how the pricing worked. It was fast, fair priced and easy to get the team out to our yard. The guys were on time and knew what they were doing. My parents were thrilled with the work done. We've gone back several times since, and look forward to using them in the winter as well! I would definitely pass on the recommendation to anyone needing landscaping services (and am sure I will do the same for snow removal as well!)
