We took a couple of 3rd graders for an introductory hour with a belay, and they had a blast! That gym is extensive with so many climbing options for all different levels, and the staff were super friendly. We will return!

We had such a great experience at The Gravity Vault in San Rafael! My daughter really wanted to go climbing, but they were sold out for the day. Luckily, Aiden went above and beyond to make a last-minute accommodation and got her a spot for the last hour. She had an amazing time -- Aiden was patient, encouraging, and made the whole session fun. The facility itself is beautiful -- super clean, well organized, and everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be coming back. Huge thanks again to Aiden and the team!

The Gravity Vault is my new home away from home. Super nice and professional staff, clean facility, and great programs for kids and adults. They have yoga, climbing teams for the young people, climbing technique classes, and more. We took our belaying class from Tucker and I can't rave about him enough. We learned the skills necessary to tie the appropriate knots and belay another person. Tucker made learning the fundamentals of climbing fun and easy. The Gravity Vault is more than a gym, it is a community and I am so happy to have it in Marin. I love seeing it packed every day with kids and adults climbing, bouldering, working out in the gym, and doing yoga instead of being buried in their phones. The Gravity Vault is one of the best things to happen to Marin.

We celebrated our 10-year-old kid's birthday there yesterday. We were all beyond pleased with the whole experience. This is a newer place, and it is so clean and spacious. The staff was incredibly nice and patient. They provide a very comprehensive party package which includes paper plates, (no utensils for the cake, bring your own), napkins, tablecloth, drinks, even balloons!! And a happy birthday banner. The room size is comfortable and comprise a large fridge, and a sink. This is the only place I could find in the whole Bay area which hosts birthday parties. It is safe, as the fun is roped. All the boys had an amazing time! And our child already stated that he wanted to go back. Some constructive criticism: The climbing part was 1h30 which was too long for most of the kids who were exhausted. I think it would be better to have a 1h for the climb, 45 minutes for the party (vs. 30), and the team gets 15 minutes to clean. The quality of the pizza brought was bad. It was so thin and tasted like carboard. But it was warm and delivered on time. There must be better options out there. I think the final payment should be charged before the party day, so that it is not being brought up in front of guests. This is all minor, I completely recommend that place! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

    Fun routes!!

The classes are challenging and fun and I know that if I show up, I'll get a great workout. I have noticed a difference in my body and I'm excited to keep it up. Outside of the gym I'm noticing that my running is improving. I've shaved almost a minute off my mile since I started training with David, even though that wasn't something I was specifically training for. When I broke my arm, I was so bummed that I wouldn't be able to work out. But David encouraged me to go to class and modified my workouts. My Ortho Dr. & Physical therapist were amazed how quickly I healed. The Dr told me that being active promotes blood flow and speeds up healing. It worked, I only missed a week from the gym and could put weight on my arm after 4 months! David's mission is to bring together a community of healthy and happy people through fitness. He and his team train in a personalized way that allows every person to be in their best shape because they believe that everyone can be an athlete. I personally believe that the owner of a gym is a huge reflection on the gym and its direction. With David's friendly demeanor, knowledge of physical fitness, and ambition to take the gym to the next level to further the quality of lives through diet and physical movement.

I went there with a friend around 11:20 am on a Sunday, and David was already there with few people , getting ready to start the session at 11:30. He charged me only $10, and gave us a small discount for my friend, and charged him only $8. In the past , I had minor IT-band syndrome , and after mentioning that to David, he showed extreme knowledge of the human body, and explained to me exactly what exercise I should, and shouldn't do. The workout was intense and my body felt sore then next day , which logically is I great result from the hour long workout we had ;) Thank you David, and keep doing what you do, because you are really good at it !

This is where all those gorgeous Marin ladies get their youthful bodies! Fantastic cardio class…read moreand the best value for money exercise in Marin County (Where else can you get 4 classes a week for $45/month?!). Really great atmosphere where you get a challenging but safe full-body workout in an hour, led by the lovely teacher Joy. I'll admit, I saw the name Jazzercise and had visions of ladies in leg warmers and leotards, but halfway through my first class as I gasped for breath and wiped the sweat out my eyes, I realized there is nothing old-fashioned about it. It's a very challenging workout, set to current top forty hits - there's a different routine for each song. (You can do each one high or low impact, as you choose). Then you move on to specific routines for weights, legs, arms and butts, with plenty of stretching too. I was so thrilled to find this after several years spent trying various exercise classes, none of which stuck. I find Spin to be boring and not targeted enough for your abs or upper body, nor does it do anything for your brain or balance. The Bar Method and Daily Method are both challenging and target specific muscle groups, but won't do much to burn calories. Zumba is fun and burns calories but targets nothing and lacks variety. Jazzercise, on the other hand, hits everything in one hour in a series of rigorous but safe routines - and you will SWEAT! (For you Weightwatchers out there, you earn just 4 points for an hour of yoga or Bar Method but a full 10 points for Jazzercise... that is 600 calories in an hour, and way more fun than the treadmill... I have lost 12 lb in the year since I started doing this class, and feel like a dancer again). Best of all, there is no 'scene' here; it's not intimidating or exclusive at all. There are no mirrors and no posers. Nobody will be staring at you or calling out your name to correct you. T-shirt and sweats are fine. The class of 50 or so people includes those of all ages, shapes and sizes who just share a love of music, dance and exercise. You'll soon master the moves and be doing the grapevine and the single-single-double in no time...
