My first impression was how cute to put a snowman face on the garage door, but then I stepped inside. It was like walking into a Hallmark movie! Exquisitely decorated. Warmly welcomed. The menu was even altered for my major food allergies. A great explanation of nearby restaurants and sites, with a paper map even included! The house itself is nicely decorated and has everything needed. The hot tub, walking path and tree swing just add to the magic and whimsy of a place we will certainly be returning to and thoroughly enjoying. Excellent job, Jeanna!

My mushroom & broccoli risotto was creamy and delicious. My steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I asked about how the chef made the Czech dumplings and he came out of the kitchen and shared how he boiled down the potatoes himself! I could have had just the salad bar with it's spinach and raspberries, cheeses and veggies, but I didn't want to miss out on the prepared to order fine dining. Even my friends burger looked fat and delicious. I most certainly will return as I still must try the Ruben, their ever changing Sunday brunch & then one of the official Czech meals. We also asked for and received a tour of this quaint hotel that has a real B&B hotel throwback to like 1945, feel.

Breakfast was bewilderingly tasty both days of our stay (the proprietor chose to eat with us - which was rather nice). Really delicious. Children appear to be most welcome - there are toys and books around and available. Guests will need to plan around both lunch and dinner - Manhattan and other food options are not very very close by.
