Breakfast! Bacon, egg, and cheese croissant with sides of potatoes, and tomatoes. Plus fruit and yogurt and a blueberry muffin.

Such a lovely Bed & Breakfast. We stayed in the Banker's Suite on our wedding night, thanks to a gift from the Best Man. The groom's party got ready here, and the interior is so gorgeous that we decided to do our "first look" pictures here (they turned out beautifully). Our room had a double Jazuzzi and fireplace, and the bed was very comfortable. They provided excellent service and even left a card and special gift for us, which was very thoughtful. I couldn't imagine ending our special day anywhere else. I highly recommend this B&B, and will definitely stay again in the future.

If you like old style charm, 100 year old woodwork, period fixtures and furniture with modern updates (like comfy beds and a hot tub) then you will love this Bed & Breakfast. It was warm and charming and so was our host. We stayed in the Bankers suite which had a sun room and a separate room with jacuzzi hot tub. Breakfasts were good, and the host let cookies in the room each day and took the time to explain the history of the house and gave us a tour. Great experience!

Second part of our breakfast. First was a delicious fruit and yogurt bowl.

The pool , hot tub and corn hole was amazing as well. Most Hotels we stayed at gave honeybuns for breakfast but Annabelle Gardens actually had biscuit and gravy and other stuff. The staff was so helpful and nice after stressing over trying to find a last minute hotel. This place was definitely more like home not a hotel and has earned our business from now on when we travel to Nebraska. Oh let me not forget to mention how comfortable the beds were because that's what we all really want to know.

The aroma of freshly baked cookies swept me off my feet and lured me in (even though that's where I was going anyways). They bake fresh cookies every Wednesday and I believe Thursday too between 4pm and 630pm for their patrons. The lady who checked me in was super chill. She was busy doing a million other things and checking people in and running in and out. She was very good at her job. After checking in, I went to my room. It can be a little hard to find. The number signage is pretty small but they gave me a map and I was able to find it. Each room has their own wifi. It's less hotel and more like a townhouse suite. You walk in and there's a small living room with a tv, a coffee table, and a loveseat. Across from it there's a kitchen - fridge, pantry, stove. I didn't cook here so not sure if it comes with pots and pans. As you move through the apartment, you enter the king size bed which also has a TV and a closet. In the back of my room, around the corner was the sink and then another door that led into the bathroom where the toilet and the shower is there. There is also a laundry machine and dryer. You must buy your own cleaning products however. Small bottles of lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. Bar soap and bar facial soap are provided. I was on the bottom floor. There was someone above me but I didn't hear them. There's a pool in the complex as well. They serve breakfast in the morning from 6am and 930am. Waffles, eggs, cheesy eggs, sausage patties, English muffins and gravy, some pastries and coffee tea. They have an ice cream machine, a slushy machine, and a cappuccino machine which are available 24/7. Bed was comfortable. Not cloud 9. I'd say the hardness level is about a medium. I have some back pain but I could easily sleep on it for a few days. There's a CVS, Walgreens, Best Buy and Buffalo Wings and Rings across the street.

It was late and I was very tired and quick. So quick that I didn't change the number of guests from two to three. We had gotten an extremely great deal using our points and I was worried there would be an issue when we arrived. The reception employee let our third guest, our son, stay at no extra charge. I was so relieved and ready for sleep. When we entered our room I was highly impressed with how roomy it was, how clean, quiet and comfortable. We noticed that check out time wasn't until noon so there wouldn't be any rush to jump up in the morning to leave. The next morning we checked out the indoor pool and work out room. With the pandemic there wasn't a hot breakfast. My son went to the kitchen area and got our free grab and go breakfasts. The sack contained a bottle of water, a small banana nut muffin, a oatmeal raisin bar and mandarin oranges. There is also coffee and juice available 24/7. The staff here is so kind and friendly. When we were ready to leave we found out that we never unplugged our cooler and our battery was dead. When we asked the staff for help they immediately assisted. They said it was part of their service to their guests and they even keep jumper cables behind the front desk just in case they're needed. We were so pleased with our stay here we're already planning another trip. When they asked us if there was anything to make our stay better my husband said he would've liked a coffee pot in the room so he didn't have to hurry and get dressed to keep coming to the lobby to get cups of coffee. I still give this place 5 stars, I feel they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We was on the first floor but there is an elevator inside to help getting to the other floors. An A+ hotel and we'll definitely be back.

Decided not to drive straight through and stay the night in Lincoln, NE. The 'Making you happy…read moremakes us happy' motto they have in their entrance way was a nice greeting. The person who checked us in was friendly and personable. They had umbrellas in a quaint holder by the front door which was great and I would have borrowed one had he not driven under the awning and unloaded us. And of course, being a man, he didn't need an umbrella for the rain. The room was fairly large and I did like the amount of closet space. Sometimes the closets are so small. I was able to hang out damp coats and clothing items to dry. The one complaint I have is the sink counter is too tall and the sink set in it too far back for a short person to lean over and not make a mess everywhere. While brushing my teeth I managed to drop toothpaste on the countertop. And it was not comfortable rinsing my mouth. We also didn't check our pillows so he ended up with a fluffier one while I had a flatter one and we switched in the morning when we woke up as it was uncomfortable. There was a bench at the foot of the bed which was also tall - my feet couldn't reach the ground. He found it hilarious but it made putting my shoes on more challenging. I appreciated the extra lengths they took to make the room clean for us during a pandemic. The hot breakfast was provided in the front dining area and there was a good selection of different breakfast items. I chose a cheese omelet with sausage links, orange juice and water. The food was average hotel fare. He had a small danish. It was bite sized. He didn't care for it. What I will applaud them for is having water, tea and coffee available at all times it seems. They were on little tables in the lobby area. Extremely dislike when you have to pay for that like at some hotels. I also had a yummy cookie. What a pleasant surprise. It was soft and tasty and delightful after a long drive. And their little snack corner was well stocked with little necessities, drinks and snacks. Overall verdict? A very pleasant stay and restful to boot.

However, when I booked a room for the night with this organization I was under the impression the room would be booked at a different location. I attempted to get a room in Lincoln CA, but the room was booked in Lincoln NE. I went to check in to the location in Lincoln CA, and told me my room was reserved at the location in a different state. Let me say the customer service was excellent at this location. The front desk attendant assisted me throughout the process in contacting the third party website, and gathered the information needed to contact the location in Lincoln NE to speak to management. The front desk attendant advised me of the policy for cancellation with La Quinta, and then explained that my situation is very common. When you attempt to book a room in California with using Priceline or another third party website, the website automatically takes you to Lincoln NE. This is why I started this review by stating I take full responsibility for this confusion. I paid and stayed the night at the location in Lincoln CA. Although I was extremely disgruntled that night. I remembered that the employee's at the location I stayed were extremely helpful. So, I took the advice from the front desk clerk and relaxed for the night. The next day I attempted to contact the manager of the location. I spoke with a gentleman named Merlin. Merlin at first was extremely understanding and thanked me for continuing my business with La Quinta. Due to the time difference from California to Nebraska, Merlin took down my contact information and stated he would contact me back after he looked into the situation. I allowed multiple days to go by before calling again. I reached Merlin and he stated he needed to talk to someone above him to rectify the situation. Merlin did not reach out or contact me back. I allowed multiple days to go by again and no response. I called and spoke to someone from the front desk. I was extremely angry but remained professional. The front desk attendant stated that Merlin was on his regular day off. At this point, it seems like I paid double for a one night stay with the organization. I addressed the mistake I made and accepted full responsibility. However, outside of the customer service provided from the location in California, I would recommend that people should think twice before staying at the La Quinta in Nebraska. It seems that they are unwilling to provide basic customer service to the organizations clientele. End Note. It has been approximately one month and now when called I have been told the owner and manger (Merlin) are too busy to take my call.

OMG, this hotel is a dump. Actually to call it a "dump" is rude to all other dumps in the world. It…read moredemeans other dumps to be lumped into the same category. It appears that the hotel is undergoing an update or upgrade. At least that's why I hope the sign was taken down from the outside of the building. The lobby belied the condition of the rest of the hotel. It appeared to be fairly nice - furniture new, staff nice. Signs about breakfast, y'know the usual. The trip back to the room was decorated with bad water damage in the lobby on the ceiling and an elevator blocked by a trash can. I assume out of order. To get to the room, you had to basically walk into a wall and make a 90 degree turn into the hallway. It was strange. The room... oh my, the room. It was a room on the first floor with a sliding glass door that had a very small (but hotelish) patio. The patio overlooked what I think might have at one time been a swimming pool. It was covered (sort of ) with blue tarp. Honestly it looked like it smelled stale and stank. I didn't risk it. It could have been fresh like a rose. The curtain over the sliding door no longer hung properly and let in light. I hoisted a chair over to it and did a quick repair as to not have a light shining on me all night. Air conditioning had two settings: blazing hot or freezing cold. I had to go to the front desk for a second bath towel. Sadly I did not take an inventory of towels and discovered, too late, that there wasn't a wash cloth or a bath mat. The shampoo was like if you took the cheapest shampoo you could find and watered it down. There was a very friendly cricket who would have been happy to keep me company all night. I shooed him out into the hallway. The carpet made you want to wear shoes the entire time. It was old and crunchy and really a funky color. (Perhaps to match the nasty carpet in the hallway.) The comforter on both beds had burn holes in them and were made out of a material I think they used to make car seat covers back in the 60's. I think. This wonderful stately room came as part of a package through good ole Priceline. I did not get a choice on the hotel. It was chosen for me. It cost nearly $80. Yes, I said EIGHTY DOLLARS. For that I could have stayed in a nice room. I have a policy of always saying something nice so here goes: my room was not broken into in the wee hours of the night by crazed Ninjas who stole the little bitty teeny tiny packets of weak coffee. And the cricket seemed to be in tune. If you know what key crickets normally crick (?) in. Which I don't so I'm only assuming there. He certainly was proud of his work. Godspeed to those who are going to try to refurbish this place. May I suggest a wrecking ball and bulldozer? An update for anyone who made it this far: I called Choice and they gave me 4,000 points on my loyalty account. You can't even get a free room at possibly the worst hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska (AKA "Quality Inn" referenced above) for 4K points.

Desk clerk said, and in these words, "this is my first day; I don't know where nothing is and I probably ain't gonna be very helpful to ya." A desk clerk should have a basic command of grammar not to mention courtesy. 2. The facilities looked horrendous, slovenly and run down. 3. My room had bugs as well as stained sheets. I have pictures of these. 4. The room was damp and moldy. 5. The toilet didn't work properly. 6. The door to the room was hard to open and close. 7. The breakfast was passable, but processed eggs and convenient store pastries is hardly "full breakfast." Part of the reason I selected this hotel was because it advertised a full breakfast. 8. The fitness room was out of operation. According to the clerk the next morning, "our fitness center is out of order because someone was smoking in it (while exercising) and burned it down." Part of the reason I selected this hotel for my stay was because it advertised a fitness center. 9. In a non-smoking hotel, I would expect marijuana to be included in the policy. Most of the first floor, where I stayed, was overwhelmed with the smell. 10. All of this was the same price as a lovely Radisson across the street who couldn't honor my reservation because they were overbooked.
