The ladies that cut my son's hair were all really nice and tried their best even though my son had such a rough experience the second time. Mainly because I had to wake him up from a nap. Then hair was cut too short, so it sticks up a bit on one side. If you know Asian hair you watch out for that. Once it's too short you can't fix that. After I saw how it looked I skipped the layering on boy 2. That worked out better. No layering meant no cutting the hair too short. But, both boys were cut with uneven bangs and I had to check and point out where it needed adjustments. It was pretty obvious. Overall not happy about being charged $35 each for the cut. I haven't lost faith in kids' salons, but I'm still on the search for our regular spot. May be just go back to Super Cuts.

They also are good about offering you a water before/after/during the haircut. Vibe is immaculate, it's minimalist while being trendy and always spotless clean. Quality of the haircut is on point. The barber I go to is Vince Pham (IG vinceblends) but all of them are pretty solid. I have straight/stubborn Asian hair and Vince gets me right every time. I know Vince takes a lot of classes to keep his game up and is an educator himself. All haircuts are $60 before tip (with the exception of Cray) and honestly so worth it.

At this point I'm just over it.. this salon has no basic service standards. So I write a short review. But the real issue is the salon manager, Cathy. See screenshot Rather than acknowledging the experience or taking responsibility, her response to my review was defensive, dismissive, and borderline hostile. She reframes the situation and even added a passive-aggressive comment along the lines of "too bad we can't review you." Wow! That last remark says everything about the culture here. Customer feedback should be met with accountability. A manager who responds vengefully instead of constructively tells you everything you need in how guests are valued. If this is how concerns are handled publicly, I would be very cautious about how problems are handled here about your hair!

The stylist was very knowledgeable about curly hair which I attribute to the cost of their service. I don't think I'd return for color again but will definitely return for the deva cuts. It could be helpful to give customers a rough estimate of the booked service so we get the chance to financially plan instead of being told the price once we're in the chair- at that point, I feel most customers could feel obligated to comply.
