Odette helped us and she was very nice and did an amazing job getting my daughter to warm up to her. The place has cool little cars the kids get to sit in and they have little TVs where kids can watch YouTube while they get their hair cut. They have some toys in the entrance that kids can play with while they wait. My daughter got to pick a toy after her haircut. Since it was her first hair cut they saved a piece of her hair that they attached to a first haircut certificate and we got a photo of my daughter. I was really happy with the experience here and with Odette's services.

She said well I already called him with an unprofessional actitud, proceeded to let her know I know but were here and she simply said you can wait they will call you right now. I myself am a small business latina owner and always support others but she simply didnt care if I did business with her. I deal with customers on a daily and we live and thrive of our customers. To be treated with such unprofessionlism was awful because that's what keep ones business going. If she treated me like this and it's a kid hair place I could only imagine how she treats her staff. Very unfortunate they lost 4 local customers, do not recommend this place. There are so many others like the one we went to after were did a great job, kind, professional, cheaper and less than half the wait.

Tara was my stylist and was so awesome! She spent time asking about what I wanted to accomplish and really listening to what my priorities are when it comes to my hair. She took time to educate me about how to best maintain the color between visits including what different shampoos actually do (purple counters yellow while blue counters orange/brassy hair). After noticing the toner made my hair a bit darker than what I wanted, she swiftly found a solution to lift the color a bit). Ari, her assistant, helped wash and brighten, then blow dry my hair and was really great as well! Both ladies were professional and helpful. And the best part - they were really accommodating and able to squeeze me in the same day for a color, toner, blow dry then curl appointment. And the whole place had a great relaxing vibe with country music playing in the background and relaxing conversations on and off throughout the visit. Took my son to Fancy Kids Cuts for the first time, and had a wonderful experience! They had a bunch of cool themed car chairs to choose from; Lightning McQueen race car, Bluey, Minnie Mouse, etc. Each station had TV screens, I was able to put on my little one's favorite show which helped him relax a bit. They also had a play area with a ton of fun toys to keep kids of all ages busy and entertained. Our stylist was Monica, she was super sweet! My toddler was not really in the mood to get a haircut, but Monica was very patient and made sure he was comfortable throughout the whole process. She was quick, gentle and did an amazing job! I highly recommend to any parent to check this place out! We came here for our almost 3-year-olds haircut (he previously only had at-home haircuts with dad and would scream and cry). Amazing service, she got our son to relax quickly and he sat there calm the entire time. There is a toy area for children to play in while they wait. There are also a couple different car chairs they can choose from to sit on for their haircut which all include a tv for them to watch something. I took my 2 year old to get his first hair cut. He wasn't doing too well but Monica was great, patient, friendly and professional. The place is clean, my son loved the car chairs and the tvs were helpful. They made us feel so welcomed by letting us put his name on their wall tree. You can clearly see the harsh money piece (didn't ask for) and uneven thick highlights. In some areas I am an orange copper tone in others a light yellow to a medium dark yellow. It is not cohesive and natural. I was in shock once I got home to further inspect how uneven my highlights looked. I called to have it fixed because of how bad they were. Now, as a professional especially in an industry like this, a hairstylist NEEDS to be open to constructive feedback and make sure the client is left happy and satisfied. Upon my correction appointment the stylist Esmeralda had such an attitude and made continuous snide comments. That I don't wash my hair and that's why my highlights looked the way they did. That I am the first person to not be satisfied by her work. That I am not open to change or welcome it. That there was no reason to complain. When I asked if there was going to be an issue and a problem on her correcting my highlights she was very quiet. Where is your backbone there lady? Let's not even mention how she DID NOT COMMUNICATE anything and how when I would ask her what the plan was and what my options were she would just roll her eyes and not give me a clear answer. Just comes to show how classless, tacky, unprofessional and immature she is for her 60 year old self. In addition, she started using a dye that was extremely strong and foul. Keep in mind there was NO VENTILATION! I felt myself choking and finding it hard to breathe. I was in PHYSICAL DISTRESS from these strong chemical dye fumes. I communicated with Esmeralda but once again was ignored. Isn't this a safety and health issue that should be taken seriously. She also left me unattended and she did not time how long the new dye had to be in for before she began to start cutting some guys hair. When I told the manager Diana she promptly communicated with Esmeralda and her response was still lacking. Just came to show how she didn't care! Isn't it that you can't be negligent considering you are licensed? You took an oath didn't you Esmeralda? To affirm that you would uphold the law and serve the public ETHICALLY?! Not only did she leave me unattended but my scalp was on fire. She was aware but yet was immature and unprofessional on handling this situation. The manager Diana washed my hair and when I informed her of this unprofessional lady, Diana spoke and communicated like an individual with an education and was way more respectful and mature. Essentially how a manager should act. It was really sad to see how this uneducated tacky women spoke to Diana. Almost as if she was the owner. Unfortunately it's like these employees that break salon businesses. Ladies please stay away from this salon especially that uneducated classless person named Esmeralda. Don't worry tho I WILL be contacting the board of Barbering & Cosmetology to make them aware of the unprofessional standards this person Esmeralda is not adhering to. I also have a doctors appointment and will be seeing my dermatologist and if needed I will take this lady to court. It's 2025 and we need to hold negligent people like this Esmeralda accountable and make sure she gets her karma before she decides to cause more harm to other people. Word of advice sweetheart, learn how to treat clients professionally, learn how to communicate but most of all have some class.

I've definitely had plenty of amazing haircuts in the past but my more recent ones aren't the same like the ones before. I found that it was the sides were angled inwards toward my head rather than straight up as seen in picture 2. (I included pictures so y'all know what I mean ) My head fits a more "box" look which means the sides should be vertical as seen in the first pic. The haircut isn't necessarily bad by any means, but it isn't quite what I wanted. In the end, my advice for anyone who wants to try out this place is to be specific with what you want. You may have some growing pains when figuring this out but I feel that it would help you here a ton. Maybe I could try to communicate what I want better and more clearly to get the result I want, but I've also been coming here for a while too so I'm conflicted :/ Ultimately, I have decided to find another place to go but I hope y'all have a great time at this place! *Note both pics were taken right after haircut.

Very disappointed with the service I received…read more This was my first time seeing Nancy on July 14. I came in with a color correction that had already been done by another stylist, and Nancy understood the color I was trying to achieve. As you can see in one of my photos, my hair had a beautiful copper tone. When I first got out of Nancy's chair, I was concerned that the ends looked very bright and red, but I understood that the color would fade, so I decided not to voice my concerns at that time. Fast-forward to August 19. I returned for a touch-up under the impression that I would be receiving the same type of treatment and leaving with the same overall color. Unfortunately, that was not the case. As shown in my photos, my hair ended up with a very noticeable two-tone color. I immediately expressed my concerns to Nancy. I was told to allow the color to fade and was even advised to wash my hair with Dawn dish soap to help cool down the redness. From August 19 through Saturday, I continued washing my hair daily in hopes that the color would improve. Unfortunately, as you can see in the photos, there was no improvement. Today, August 26, I returned to the salon hoping the issue could finally be corrected. Nancy attempted to tone down the redness, but the result still did not meet my expectations. After that attempt, I was told that the only other way to blend the copper would be to bleach my hair. Considering I had already gone through a color correction and was now dealing with damaged and uneven color, I was absolutely not comfortable allowing more bleach to be applied. At that point, I was essentially given two choices: darken the hair or pay another stylist out of pocket to fix the issue. I was already nervous about putting additional chemicals on my hair, so I ultimately felt that my only safe option was to return to something closer to my natural roots. What made this experience even more frustrating was the amount of time this situation took. I was at the salon for approximately two hours attempting to correct an issue that should not have happened in the first place. I had my one-year-old daughter with me, was already exhausted and lacking sleep, and she ended up missing her nap because of an additional hair appointment that I never should have needed. As a client, I believe a stylist should be honest about what they can and cannot accomplish. If you know you cannot achieve the requested result without potentially compromising the client's hair, please be upfront rather than continuing with chemicals and making the situation worse. After everything, I requested a refund of at least 50% of the $145 I paid because of the time wasted, the condition of my hair, and the fact that I ultimately did not receive the service I paid for. Unfortunately, my request was denied. I was told that the owner was present during the situation, yet there still seemed to be no willingness to acknowledge that something went wrong or take responsibility for the outcome. I was also told that the color issue was related to me washing my hair, but I do not believe that explanation accounts for the extremely noticeable two-tone color shown in my photos immediately after the service. The photos speak for themselves. I am extremely disappointed because the first appointment showed that the desired color was achievable, which makes it even more frustrating that the second appointment resulted in such a different and unsatisfactory outcome. For $145, I expected much better service, communication, and accountability. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I will not be returning. My advice to anyone considering this salon: make sure you are completely confident that the stylist understands the color you want and is capable of achieving it before allowing additional chemicals to be applied to your hair.
