She planned to leave a $10 tip for the $60 massage, and when she asked the therapist for change from a $20 bill, the therapist implied that a $20 tip was expected for the service, and mentioned needing to feed her kids. Ultimately, my girlfriend felt pressured and awkwardly gave the full $20. Although the massage quality was excellent, this pressured tipping interaction left her uneasy about the whole experience.

She adjusts according to what you want and need. I carry a lot of stress in my upper shoulders and Maria worked hard to get the knots out. She also did some myofascial release on me which was a very interesting experience. She says there are many clients that come often for myofascial release and have had great results. The room is very well done and relaxing. She does a great job making the whole experience blissful and a great escape! Also, as a note, you will be required to wear a mask since Covid is still an issue. Maria wore a mask as well, so I felt very safe.

They don't offer the same sleek looking, brown robe with their logo on it for plus size customers. Instead I was given a white robe, that while comfy and oversized, seemed a little dingy. My masseuse, Raquel, was AMAZING. I enjoyed every second of my 80 minute massage. The Shirodhara was nice and Becky did a great job. Unfortunately, it left my long hair in some really bad knots so I don't think that is a service I would try again. All of the oils used in both services smelled soooo good! The atmosphere was very tranquil and relaxing. They offer some complimentary teas and water.
