After bringing up the less than stellar customer service moment with management, they were quite nice and apologetic. Not a very friendly person. Tried to tell me it was more than what I scanned. Basically, sounded like he didn't believe me!! So I scanned it in FRONT of him like THREE TIMES-as after the first time he still refused it. Ended up calling over the manager(also not friendly-young female). So then she tries to say it's an online price-which MY MICHAELS I go to in LAPEER has never had an issue with by the way as THEY say it's allowed. Anyway-she ended up doing it, and I told her that if your not going to have scanners in your store & people are using the MICHAELS APP to scan what they want to buy, then what's the problem? If I could support my local business I would, but smaller owned art supply stores are vanishing…read more Smaller, local businesses like Du-All, know their stuff and they know what's good and what's not so good. I 'm in upstate NY and found this store on line by accident. GREAT customer service and follow up. My item was packed with care. Du-All carries quality drafting supplies and trust me, too many makers just don't make good stuff any more. I have a too many things that just won't "square." Spend once for a quality tool, then it will be with you for life. Du-All has fair pricing. You pay for what you get and maybe you pay a little less than a high falluting store that caters to a boutique crowd, but then you're also avoiding that "stuff" you get from the bigger places that just isn't what it should be.
