When we raised concerns, the owner dismissed the issue as "sunspots," even though the pattern appeared much more consistent with leaf-spot disease than ordinary sun or heat damage. I've included three photos of the affected plant, along with one photo of a different hydrangea purchased elsewhere that shows what normal heat or transport stress actually looks like. The difference is obvious. What was most disappointing was not simply receiving a diseased plant, but the owner's unwillingness to take the concern seriously or offer a reasonable solution. Little did he know, my husband previously owned and operated a landscaping business, so we are not inexperienced with plant health or landscaping. The dismissive response was unnecessary and unprofessional. Buyer beware, and inspect plants very carefully before purchasing from this business.

The recommended repair was made after I paid additional money on top of the quote because he couldn't get the rock at the price he quoted. Chris wanted a 5 star review as soon as the job was done. Well after the first rain, I still had the same issue. I contacted Chris several times and he made arrangements no less than 5 times to come out and correct the issue. He tried to make it out that I was wanting something for free. What I wanted was the drainage issue corrected as stated. I could have left it alone and would have the same issue. In the long run he never even showed back up. Time after time he had a vehicle issue, staffing issue, employee going to rehab issue. He also never reached out to me. I always had to inquire if he was ever going to come back out. I enclosed a copy of all conversations I had with him. I found it comical that he suggested flex seal. I am done contacting him at this point. It appears that this one is going to have to go to court. I definitely recommend staying away from this crook.
