I LOVE THIS PLACE! Green House is a restaurant and metaphysical store, which is super cool. The store also had clothing items, hair products, cards, and other miscellaneous items. I visited with a friend and we both loved our entrees. I got the BBQ rib platter and my 2 sides were the macaroni salad and kale salad. My friend got the burger with the same sides. All of the food was delicious and I have no complaints. My portions were HUGE so I had leftovers for the next day! I really wanted to try the smoothies, but I was stuffed after eating my rib platter. Excited to try the smoothies next time! There were also some desserts and potato chips at the counter, which I also might try next time. I ordered the black bean wrap and the krazy karrot juice. The wrap came with a side and I chose the garlic kale salad. There are several options for sauces that can be added to the wrap. I decided on the cayennaise dressing and dijon mustard. Everything tasted great and was full of flavor. The kale salad had too much dressing on it for me. I'll ask for the dressing on the side in the future. The krazy karrot juice consisted of carrot, pineapple, lemon and ginger. The flavors blended well and the juice was refreshing. I got the wangz platter (1 buffalo, 1 old bae, and 1 was a sriracha/agave but I can't remember the name) with chick'n Mac (like a pasta salad) and the gar-lick kale salad. I also got the Hawaiian Sophie smoothie (I'm salivating just thinking about it). I INHALED the food as soon as I got to my car. I knew it wasn't going to make it home. This place is OPEN! We just went last week. They have delicious vegan food! And it's Black owned! We got BBQ "Ribz" made with soy protein - SOOOOO yummy!! The ribs were super tender and flavorful! The sides we got were a Chick'n Mac Salad) and the Kale Goddess Salad w/ apple, cranberry, almonds! My friend got a Mean Green smoothie - peach, pineapple, mango, spinach, banana. I thought that this place was really cute. I was going to physical therapy across the street so I stumbled across this place. Not only did they sell healthy food options but this was a one stop shop. It was like also food for your soul. I saw books, candles, incense and all things spiritual here. The employees were very nice and helpful. The prices are crazy-high but then that is the case for most cold-pressed juice and healthy smoothies these days. At least they are a decent size and generally absolutely delicious. I preferred their old location, which was in the same location but massive, with brighter colours and amazing bathrooms with all kinds of peaceful messages scrawled all over the walls. Of course the new place is a miniature version of the same thing, but I'm sad that they had to reduce their quarters. I wish them nothing but luck. I tried the green smoothie and the green pressed juice. I liked the former better, but both were excellent and much better than most similar places I've been to. It was deliciously creamy, just the right amount of sweet, and a great portion size. (Portion sizes vs cost of the item are very important to me.) Also, we had the BBQ Ribs. I'm not sure why this is named ribs. It's more like a "beef & broccoli" dish you'd get from your friendly neighborhood Chinese takeout establishment. It's very scrumptious! I stumbled upon this place while visiting a shop in the area. The location has a neighborhood family feel. It's really nice inside. The people are warm and friendly. They have a full menu of juices, smoothies and vegan eats. I sampled a soup that was warm and delicious. I ordered the smoothie special of the day, Peanut Punch. It was made with banana, ice, almond milk and peanut butter. The smoothie was made quickly and brought out to me and given to me in my hand. The smoothie was sweet savory deliciousness. This place is located in Baltimore city in Charles Village perfectly snuggled amongst other businesses. I visited here Saturday afternoon and it was bustling. I love this place. It is tiny but cozy and has a huge window seat. I had a Mucus Buster juice which promptly cleared my minor sinus issues and the vegan citrus ribs with veggies and my niece had a Strawberry Smile smoothie and a whole wheat berry muffin. This was my first taste of vegan citrus ribs and it was so good that I purchased another to take home. The only comparison I have is that it tastes like chicken with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. The juice and smoothie were on point as usual. Service was fast and efficient and informative. They give you a choice of 4 vegan milk options for the smoothie. I think they were almond , rice, coconut, and flax I think. I can't wait to go back. I do think the tiny muffin was not priced well at $2 Everything else seemed average or well priced for the size. I came here with my Meetup group to get something nice and refreshing before we headed to our next stop. The staff was cordial and patient with us as we were a pretty decent sized group for the small space. I can't speak on the food but most people got the smoothie of the week which was strawberry smile--I decided to get the Hawaiian Sophie. I liked the flavor of my drink but it definitely could've been blended more--I could still feel/taste bits of orange (not the peel but the skin--I don't know the name). It was to the point that I couldn't suck up the smoothie because the orange skin was obstructing the path. I still think this place is so cool, and you should look inside their bathroom. You can write on the walls and mirror (they even have markers for you to use). I think next time I'll try the mean green. Grind House is worth checking out. read more

It should be a crime to make healthy food so delicious. If I lived closer to the Grind House, I just might actually become an accidental vegan. Their pressed juices, smoothies, and fake meat wraps are absolutely superb! I came here with a Livingsocial voucher and tried the "Go Fish" wrap and the Blueberry Pie smoothie. For the smoothies, you are presented with a choice of using soy milk or rice milk as the base, or almond milk (and something else -- can't quite remember) for an additional 60 cents. I really loved my blueberry pie smoothie (blueberry, walnut, maple syrup, banana) with almond milk. While I hung out there, I noticed that many regular customers ordered the all-fruit smoothie (strawberry, pineapple, mango, peach, banana). I'll have to get that next time! The real gem of my meal, though, was the Go Fish wrap. The tortilla came lightly-grilled to perfection, and it had a perfect ratio of dressing, greens, and fake fish. The goddess dressing was certainly godly as described! It may take a few minutes to receive your food after you order, but the wait is completely worthwhile when you realize how good the food is and that your ingredients are chopped fresh for every order. The restaurant itself is rather small, but a cozy naturally-lit lounge area with a few tables and couches can be found in the adjoining back room. I got "The Farmer" and my boyfriend (carnivore) decided to be brave and try the BBQ "Chick'n" Local--and he LOVED it! Ate every last bite. The juices were some of the best I've ever had: We got the Sweet Greens and the Hot Shot-- don't know which I enjoyed more. My minor complaints are that the service is a little slow (although...I know... I have to remember that this is not pre-prepared food like at a chain restaurant), but it took AWHILE. Their juice and smoothie menu is now smaller and there is less seating, but I love the new brighter colors and that Flourish is now housed inside the cafe.
